Beachville, Swox, Ontario moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Beachville, Swox, Ontario, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Liberal Party of Canada. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Mr. No Funny Nickname (talk) 18:05, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ideologies and political positions are determined through reliable sources and community consensus, not a single user's opinion. And I know you must know that, because in order to change the ideology/position to your preferred version— twice— you had to ignore the comment in the code that specifically warns against making changes to those fields without consensus. I would direct you to the Talk page, but that you've also been cutting out a paragraph on their notable, left-leaning policies leaves little doubt as to your motivation here. Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Slatersteven (talk) 15:07, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Couple of things

  1. Your signature looks to contain images, which is not permitted: WP:SIGIMAGE. Please fix this.
  2. You keep posting at WP:ITNC that dead links should be removed. This isn't the case- they should be fixed, there are many ways to do this, see WP:DEADREF. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:02, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    Emoji not an image. Also, I don't mean dead refs, I mean dead page links, e.x. SkiSkiSki. Hcoder3104☭ (💬) 18:07, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Redlinks (which is the Wikipedia term for them) are fine, they just mean a page hasn't been created yet. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:43, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And they are being displayed on wiki as images not emojis, and are difficult to click on. All of which means you're making it harder for people to contact you. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:44, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on United We Can (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Hamilton Bulldogs

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Hamilton Bulldogs, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Requested moves and previous discussions regarding the article's name. Flibirigit (talk) 23:08, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The team relocated. There is no discussion to be had, needs to be moved. Hcoder3104☭ (💬) 23:13, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
