- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.

School articles
Per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, please do not create articles for primary/middle schools. Lacking notability verified through significant coverage in reliable and independent sources, rather than retain these articles, the process calls for redirecting them to either the school district or locale (lacking a school district). If you have questions, feel free to drop me a line. Best regards, Cindy(talk) 02:05, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
December 2013
Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, George R. Stuart Elementary School, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. And Ernest L. Ross Elementary School; see WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. Cindy(talk) 02:24, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Deletion, merge, or redirect?
At this point, we have options. Per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, we consider deletion, merge, or redirecting these school articles. Which do you prefer? More than happy to comply with your suggestion, but lacking notability, these articles may not be retained. Let me know! Cindy(talk) 02:27, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
- I don't really care. If its not notable, though, why not delete or redirect?
Disambiguation link notification for January 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cleveland, Tennessee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Creek (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:59, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
The article Ernest L. Ross Elementary School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable, unremarkable school; notability not established in accordance with general notability guidelines; see WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cindy(talk) 11:34, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

Cleveland
Feel free to replace any of my photos (and/or the lede photo) on the Cleveland article, if you can take any or know of any that are a better fit. Ditto with rearranging text or dumping outdated information. As far as I know, there aren't any editors actively improving southeast Tennessee-related articles, outside of Chattanooga. Notification of automated file description generation
Your upload of File:APD-40cloverleaf.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! File:APD-40cloverleaf.jpg missing description details
is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.
If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 04:43, 21 January 2014 (UTC)Hello, Bmag32. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Southwind (Young Life camp), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ColonelHenry (talk) 22:29, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Southwind Logo Color.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Southwind Logo Color.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 18:43, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
Better source request for File:BradleySquareMalllogo.jpg
Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 03:16, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

Possibly unfree File:Bentontnfireworksexplosion.jpg
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Bentontnfireworksexplosion.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 21:52, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- I actually paused the TV program at this frame, and took the photo with a camera, so it's technically my own work. I don't know where the program came from, but I'll try to find out. We've had it for a while and it may be hard to locate the source, but it's almost certainly free.Bmag32 (talk) 21:10, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
Logo uploads
You previously uploaded three logos and tagged them with a CC-by-SA-3.0 copyright tag. The actual copyright owners (the businesses and school) have shown no evidence of releasing those images under that or any free license. You do not get to choose what license to release the images under, nor are they considered your work. Normally logos would be copyright, but in this situation, due to the simplicity of the logos, they are all {{PD-textlogo}} and I've updated them accordingly. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 11:32, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
Confused anons
If anons are persistently adding incorrect information to a list or section, it might be helpful to add a hidden comment to that section. This type of comment is only visible on the editing screen. The format is <! comment >. I went ahead and added one to the "Public schools" section of the Cleveland article. Bms4880 (talk) 01:17, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- I actually was going to do that, but it didn't seem necessary, as people who live in the Cleveland area are the only ones likely to mess with that section.-Bmag32 (talk) 21:08, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

Cleveland Middle School (Tennessee)
I was not at all clear on what you were trying to say in the edit summary where you restored the above article from a redirect. Per WP:SCH/AG and WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, we do not delete middle school articles that are less than notable (which is almost all of them). Instead we leave the name of the school in the indexing and put a template on the page that redirects it to the school district's article. I do not understand why you would reinstate the article and then turn around and propose it for deletion. I have reverted back to the redirect. John from Idegon (talk) 22:14, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
Sgt. Paul B. Huff Parkway
Please be more careful in assessing articles. You previously assessed Sgt. Paul B. Huff Parkway for WP:USRD saying |needs-jctint=no
. First, that article does not use {{jctint}} or {{TNint}}, so that parameter should have been set to "yes". Second, unless that is a state highway, it falls outside of the USRD's scope. The USRD project only deals with state highways and major county roads and not local city streets. Yes, the word "roads" in the project name may lead you to think we deal with all roads in the US, but we do not. (There was a U.S. Highways project that focused on the United States Numbered Highways for several years before it was merged as a task force of USRD, and because of that we had to use the name we have for the umbrella project.) Cleveland Middle School
Thanks for finding the Cleveland Dailt Banner ref for the Governor's visit.
The article has since been redirected to Cleveland City Schools, on notability grounds and as broadly outliend here. It's a perfectly good article, but I agree with the redirect because it presently lacks sufficient sources to suggest an indepdnent notability.
However - it would be a shame for the existing work to go to waste. I've moved a copy of the article to a sandbox - User:Euryalus/CMS and will have a look around tonight for more sources. If you're interested, and have any sources you can lay your hands on, please feel free to add them to the sandbox version. When/if we get enough sources for a mainspace article, we can restore it in place of the redirect. Euryalus (talk) 23:30, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- See my discussion on the talk page. I'm looking to improving, too, but all I have now is my phone and it is not easy editing from. As noted by the sources this article does not appear any less notable than Ocoee Middle School.Bmag32 (talk) 23:33, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ocoee has been tagged as non-notable since October, and is now also a redirect to its board, as per Wikipedia standards. Remember, however, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not an argument to use in deletion discussions the panda ₯’ 23:42, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Bmag32, I've replied on the article talkpage. I reckon there's potential for CMS to be a standalone article, but we need to find the sources first. I'll have a look around this evening, but if you're aware of or have direct access to any reliable secondary material, let's gather it together and assess if there's a way forward. Your recent edit to Bradley Central High School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. The requirement is that he have a biography, not an article about something he is involved in. I know it seems strange, but he would not qualify to have a biography under BLP1E. Replaceable fair use File:Timgobble.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Timgobble.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:26, 7 December 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:I-75 exit 20 TN.png
A tag has been placed on File:I-75 exit 20 TN.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —Mr. Matté (Talk/Contrib) 21:38, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
Replaceable fair use File:Forrest preston.JPG
Thanks for uploading File:Forrest preston.JPG.
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:08, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Tennessee 74.svg
Thank you for uploading File:Tennessee 74.svg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. Please do not redirect a "Foo" title to a "Foo (disambiguation)" title, as it causes the system to thing that there is a missing primary topic at "Foo". Just retain the existing redirect created by the move until the move request has been resolved. Cheers! bd2412 T 15:23, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
The article Unemployment (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Olny one valid term and 2 WP:PTMs.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Boleyn (talk) 11:31, 12 February 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:An inconvenient sequel book cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:An inconvenient sequel book cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:10, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

Sock tagging
Hi Bneu2013, I just wanted to let you know that I boldly deleted a few of the {{sock}} tags that you added to user pages related to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Petethesheep. In general, when an account is just engaging in simple, easily identifiable vandalism or trolling, sockpuppetry tags aren't needed. In fact, they can actually make the issue worse by giving the troll the recognition that they seek. I would leave sock tagging to the clerks at WP:SPI and to the blocking administrators. If you must tag socks, the best case to do so would be in cases where it's not immediately obvious from the contributions that they are being disruptive. All the best, Mz7 (talk) 20:13, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, I was just making sure. Thanks for letting me know. Bneu2013 (talk) 10:29, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Bmag32/Life Care Centers of America
A tag has been placed on User:Bmag32/Life Care Centers of America, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is a draft which has not been edited in over six months. (See section G13 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Content you added to the above article appears to have been copied from this webpage, which is not released under a compatible license. - @Diannaa: - I don't think I just copied and pasted material from the source; I changed some words and phrases here and there. Is that not okay? Material from sources is in general going to resemble the source cited. Is the source I used not acceptable? Bneu2013 (talk) 00:32, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
- Your addition was flagged by a bot as a potential copyright issue and was assessed by myself. Here is a link to the bot report. Click on the iThenticate link to view the overlap. Allan Jones (businessman) article
To Bneu2013: I see that you've reversed some of the edits I recently made on Allan Jones' Wikipedia page; I'm looking for some guidance from you.
The main revision was deleting mention of Jones' first wife, Candace. In seeking to make this revision “Wiki acceptable” by editors such as yourself, the genealogist whose report (http://www.mtsfamily.com/GEDGEN/grpf4074.html) provided attribution for Candace's inclusion has deleted his research; in other words, this information can no longer be linked to an online source.
Can you please let me know why you have reversed this revision?
Thank you. Jr3arlington (talk) 15:18, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Jr3arlington: - How do you know he deleted his research? Until you can find a way to prove this, removing this will be viewed as an unexplained removal of cited content. You appear to have a conflict of interest with this subject, something that this article has a history of. Bneu2013 (talk) 00:36, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
