- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 02:16, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Blooket (July 9)
Please stop submitting this article for review by our volunteers. At this time it is WP:TOOSOON for Blooket to have a Wikipedia article.
Perhaps, in the future, if they gain national/international recognition and major news coverage discusses the brand, that could change.
I hope you will consider improving existing Wikipedia content about other subjects of interest!
If you have any questions please ask them at WP:TEAHOUSE.
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia!

Disambiguation link notification for August 25
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Luís de Camões, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Humboldt. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello, I'm Mr.weedle. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Luís de Camões, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mr.weedle (talk) 01:39, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Mr.weedle. Yes, I did forget to add citations. They're all there on the Portuguese wiki and I'll be sure to add them within the next day. Seems like the one time I use a work around to increase my edit count (translating then adding in sentence by sentence) it backfires on me haha through my inherent laziness. Thanks for calling me out. I won't do it again. Cheers, AdmiralAckbar1977 (talk) 01:43, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Mr.weedle sorry to prolong this. But is it OK that when I do indeed add citations I revert your revertion (not a word lol) and insert the citations there? AdmiralAckbar1977 (talk) 01:50, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- Not an issue, please ensure they are added. Mr.weedle (talk) 01:55, 26 August 2022 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi AdmiralAckbar1977. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 16:57, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Old Dartmouth
On 14 November 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Old Dartmouth, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the territories of Old Dartmouth contained five modern Massachusetts towns and cities, and parts of two others? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Old Dartmouth. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Old Dartmouth), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Trouted
Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
You have been trouted for: YOUR REASON HERE Jhawi 3897 (talk) 20:36, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Jhawi 3897 What, may I ask, was worthy of being trout slapped? Just to let you know, I've cleaned up your edits on the Kingston City Hall (Ontario) page. You added a link to the Disambiguation Page of Fort Henry, which is a link to every Fort Henry page on Wikipedia, as opposed to the one in Ontario. Fort Henry, Ontario is located here, if you'd like to add it to the bottom of the page I won't stop you, but it's not needed. The short description of the page was fine as was. Your edit added what you intended to drop in the description at the top of the page. Additionally, you changed a link to an incorrect address, however, it still led to the correct article and I left as is. I'm sorry your entrance to Wikipedia hasn't been as fluid as mine was. But I really do hope you like it here and choose to stay. Make sure to check out the links in your talk pages welcome message! AdmiralAckbar1977 (talk) 00:13, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- oof, sorry @AdmiralAckbar1977 I didn't know it was a bad thing :). I just wondered what it was, as you may know, I'm new to wikipedia, so I was just trying things out :)) I do like it here, and I will stay! You are a great helper to be honest! Jhawi 3897 (talk) 00:23, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Southworth Library (Dartmouth, Massachusetts)
The article Southworth Library (Dartmouth, Massachusetts) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Southworth Library (Dartmouth, Massachusetts) for comments about the article, and Talk:Southworth Library (Dartmouth, Massachusetts)/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. RE: discussion on teahouse
hey, i'm new to editing. you said you were open to help on the NBA player changes? Rananth0207 (talk) 15:33, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Rananth0207, I did indeed! Maybe we could do something like, I don't know, have you start with the most recent NBA All Star Game rosters and have me start with the oldest and work our way to the middle? However, before we start we should probably wait a little bit for a response on the Wikiproject Basketball Talkpage here. Cheers. AdmiralAckbar1977 (talk) 18:31, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- That sounds good. Is there a styleguide or suggested star icon to use? Thanks. Rananth0207 (talk) 14:05, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Rananth0207 I don't believe so. Any distinct star should be all right. This one looks like it could be good. AdmiralAckbar1977 (talk) 18:40, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
- alright, let’s standardize with that one then. the basketball talk page hasn’t sent word back, but i dont see how the change would affect too much, so let’s do it. Rananth0207 (talk) 04:46, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- @AdmiralAckbar1977 Apologies, but as I stated I am new to wikipedia editing. The tables are very confusing to edit as they are autogenerated. How would I access the "Year" column and star the necessary years? Rananth0207 (talk) 13:07, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- addendum: it seems that older NBA/BAA players have normally-built tables rather than the autogenerated templates. I added Max Zaslofsky's 1952 All-Star note in a way I personally think seems perfectly fine. Edit: uh-oh! the star we're using is a fake png, and it just leaves a white background. I'll look for and update this with a better one Rananth0207 (talk) 13:32, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Rananth0207 try Wikimedia Commons for the star. AdmiralAckbar1977 (talk) 17:25, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- got it, will do Rananth0207 (talk) 04:57, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Beverly Morrison Glennon moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Beverly Morrison Glennon, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 10:37, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Onel5969 thank you for letting me know. Could you please help me out be listing which sources fail to meet the requirements? Thank you so much AdmiralAckbar1977 talk contribs 15:24, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hi. Right now, there are zero in-depth sources about her from independent, reliable, secondary sources. The two articles about her which go in-depth are from non-reliable sources (the two obits - the first one is probably written by the family, so it's also not independent). The rest are simply mentions. Hope this helps. Onel5969 TT me 21:35, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
DYK for Rancho Obi-Wan
On 20 March 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Rancho Obi-Wan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Rancho Obi-Wan contains more than 500,000 Star Wars collectibles? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Rancho Obi Wan. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Rancho Obi-Wan), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
