sell Really Well!

[edit]

I heard it sell like a million units. Seems to be backed up by it being 'Greatest Hits' on PS2 and 'Gamers Choice' on Gamecube. Anyone else see this?

This isn't the first time I've seen this, but IGN is in the Gamerankings database; there's no need to link both.

Critics Reviews/Scores?

[edit]

I have heard that this game has been panned or received insanely low scores from many critics and since some other game articles list their rating scores, it might be notable to list/include some for this as well just to document whether the game was received well or not since it seems a little POV with the Power Stone (etc.) comparisons all by themselves. 63.18.194.231 20:48, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

How about a word or two about what people who bought and played the game thought, in addition to the critics. The game is not horrible and the multiplayer is quite enjoyable in this users opinion.

It's so strange that it got bad reviews... I love this game.

Comic?

[edit]

Marvel Nemesis (comic) links back here, but there really isn't any information on the miniseries... 65.96.103.25 15:56, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Under the "about the game" topic, there's some information about the comic I added a while back.--Hophi 22:25, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

With Marvel Nemesis 2 being cancelled there is no reason it shouldn't be merged into this article, because that article is basically just a footnote to this article. -Freak104 (talk) 18:49, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and have merged and redirected that article into this one. Terraxos (talk) 02:36, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Comic

[edit]

I think the comic should have a seperate article.--Yowiki (talk) 18:34, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

It seems like no one has really paid attention to this page in years other than minor clean-up. I noticed some character links to the EA-owned characters were just looping back to the page when there were minor character entries for them in the big list of Marvel Comics characters, so I redirected those links to point there. Johnny Ohm and Niles Von Whatever don't seem to have pages so I guess they're out of luck. Other than that this page is kind of a mess. The Reception section could probably use one of the standardized review score boxes that modern video game wikipedia entries have, for a start. 50.88.183.85 (talk) 06:02, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Overlooked Vandalism

[edit]

Hello, I was just on a little nostalgia trip about this game, and when I stumbled over the wikipedia page, I was kind of shocked to see that the page lists it as being "received very well by critics". I was even more surprised to see that, in spite of this description, when I looked at the review scores listed on the page itself, those scores average out as being around 55/100, and the DS version, which is listed as having an "average" reception, has an average score of around 30/100. I looked back through the edit history for the page and found a pair of changes back in August from an unnamed user who, apropos of nothing, decided to invert every statement in the article related to the game's reception (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Marvel_Nemesis%3A_Rise_of_the_Imperfects&type=revision&diff=1107063255&oldid=1097014350). There are no sources added, and no mention on the talk page here, so I assume that the user just likes the game and wanted the page to reflect their perception of it. These appear to be the only changes this user has ever made (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/76.180.74.62). In spite of taking note of this, I don't really have any experience editing wikis, so I don't know if the correct approach here is just to make a new commit that makes the inverse changes, or if there is some sort of specific tool for reverting changes. However, even if I'm not sure how to fix the issue, I wanted to make note of it here, so that the discovery isn't lost, and someone potentially more knowledgeable can fix the issue if they stumble over this talk page in the future. 2603:6011:9325:7800:5C0:87E8:D8E2:BE2D (talk) 15:00, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
