{{ADF Unit Box}} conversion questions

The request is to convert calls of {{ADF Unit Box}} to use {{Infobox Military Unit}}. The instructions matche the ADF   "FEG" entry with a Infobox Military Unit entry. As I started to help with conversions, the units that I found had FEG entries. — ERcheck (talk) 23:51, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

The FEG entry isn't meant to have a counterpart. The standard infoboxes only provide the next higher unit; we don't put the entire chain of command into the infobox. Kirill 20:46, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Add aircraft->equipment/equipment_label mapping

I have amended the conversion mapping for {{ADF Unit Box}} to include the use of equipment and equipment_label=Aicraft in place of aircraft=. I hope this is acceptable to all --Yendor1958 (talk) 11:34, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Ship articles infobox conversion drive

WP:SHIPS is currently in the midst of converting all articles under their project scope to a standard infobox: {{Infobox Ship Begin/doc}}. As many of our articles are also Military history articles, I am posting this cross-project notice. Any help is welcome, as always. The articles are tagged on their talk pages in two ways:

• Those lacking an infobox are tagged with {{ship infobox request}} and are put into Category:Ship articles without infoboxes
• Those with an infobox other than {{Infobox Ship Begin/doc}} are tagged with {{newinfobox}} using the following syntax: {{newinfobox|type=ship}} and are put into Category:Ship articles needing infobox conversion

Each of these categories currently holds over 500 articles each, and is probably over 1000 for conversion. -MBK₀₀₄ 23:22, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
