- Comment Perhaps I have missed something but Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Awards/ACM#A-Class medal with Oak Leaves indicates this to be the third Oak leaf award (ie 7) and ARs own tally is 28 in total? Should I be looking somewhere else to confirm the award? Regards, Cinderella157 (talk) 11:58, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- G'day, I think Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Awards/ACM is missing a few entries for me. My own tally was out of date, too, though, so I can't cast any stones. This list should be more accurate: User:AustralianRupert/Medal card. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 09:27, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
- @AustralianRupert, would you mind checking that I have done all the steps correctly? I couldn't see any "ptocedure". Is this some of our undocumented corporate knowledge that was my concern when we started the audit? Is Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Awards/ACM the primary way to check? Do we need to audit it? Do you wish to continue this discussion somewhere else? Regards, Cinderella157 (talk) 10:18, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
- No worries. I made a minor tweak: [1]. The award should, in theory, also be added to Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/News/March 2018/Project news. You might be right about this process not being recorded somewhere. I will have a look around. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 10:54, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for taking the demotion of your award on the chin. :) There are a lot of manual steps in the process. If the bot does the initial nomination, I wonder if there is not scope for the bot to do at least some of the process and remove some of the scope for human error (my error). I can conceptualise how this might work. Regards, Cinderella157 (talk) 11:40, 15 February 2018 (UTC)

- I might just be being thick, but I don't see a discussion of a system for the award there, just cross-posting and closing. Am I missing it? – Joe N 23:03, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- It's implicit in our acceptance of the review, in my opinion. The ACM criteria only require "significant contribution to three or more military history A-Class articles", and this isn't affected by how, precisely, those articles came to be A-Class. Kirill [talk] [pf] 02:35, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

- Support As nominator Anotherclown (talk) via MilHistBot (talk) 05:31, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- Query: @Anotherclown: G'day, I think there might be some double up here, the last ACM this editor received appears to be for two of these articles already (Asad ibn Abdallah al-Qasri and Al-Mu'tadid): [3]. Am I missing something/wrong/going crazy? Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 06:42, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- Looking at Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Awards/ACM/Eligibility tracking, it appears that Cplakidas/Constantine has two lines on which articles have been tracked. There are currently two articles from 2013 (Bessas and Vitalian), which potentially may not have been considered for an ACM (checking Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history/Awards/ACR/Archive 1), while Milhistbot appears to have nommed two others twice...could this be what is causing the problem? AustralianRupert (talk) 09:38, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- Yes I think you are right. I've adjusted the nomination now to sub out Asad ibn Abdallah al-Qasri and Al-Mu'tadid for Bessas (general) and Vitalian (general). I think this is right now but pls do a sanity check for me if you have time. Anotherclown (talk) 09:36, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
- G'day, yes, that looks right to me. Happy to award the updated ACM with swords including the two articles from 2013 plus the most recent one, unless anyone else can see something wrong with this. I will draft up the award, but might wait a day or so for others to check our work. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 10:21, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
- @WP:MILHIST coordinators: G'day all, are there any concerns with this award? Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 04:35, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- As far as I can see everything seems to have been straightened out. Just a paperwork error, so it looks like Constantine is eligible. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 07:28, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
