Welcome to the Belgian military history group, an initiative of the Military history WikiProject.
Purpose & scope
[edit]There are currently task forces for French, German and Dutch militaries and I feel Belgium would be a valuable addition to the list. It is, after all, the "battlefield of Europe" and MilHist plays an important part of Belgian history. As with any country, there are hundreds of military biographies etc. and minor articles which would naturally fit into the project, however there are also a number of World War I and II battles which would fit equally well. I feel a task force is needed here in order to better co-ordinate Belgian-related MILHIST articles in general and to improve the generally quite sparse existing coverage.
