Category:Student organizations in Nigeria
Emptied out, and rightaway speedily deleted by the same admin within 16 seconds (see this diff). The reference to "(CSD C1: Category is Empty (and has been for 4 days or more))" is blatantly false. — PanchoS (talk) 18:53, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Not done. It's still orphaned, so there's no point in restoring it. Talk to the deleting admin first. PeterSymonds (talk) 19:34, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- It had one entry in it. I was actually going to speedy rename per WP:ENGVAR but then realised it had nothing of substance in it. A lot of the "Educational organizations" categories which PanchoS created out of process a bit over a month ago have only one (incorrect) entry in each, that being "Student organizations". Looking at the history one finds they've been yanked out of one tree and put rather artificially in another. Realistically about 20 fit this category, but I was only looking at Nigeria at that point in time. For some reason he created them all with American spelling, which is an issue I've already tried, and failed, to discuss with him. As I told him at that time, too, there is no process requirement in reverting out-of-process moves. He sought no authorisation for them, nor did he discuss it, and he's created one hell of a headache in the hierarchical structure (at least partly as he does not fully understand the area in which he's working). I do find it amusing however that he regards himself as being above the rules he seeks to impose on others. Orderinchaos 19:44, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

The relevance of this window manager is partly practical, because people still use it, and partly historical, because it is the foundation of many later window managers. For example, see [2] for a writeup.

Category:Bauhaus (band)
This category was (AND SHOULD BE) useful for readers to find and navigate sets of articles related to Bauhaus (band). It's the category under which readers would most likely look if they were not sure of where to find an article about them. It can contain the following subcategories (Category:Bauhaus albums, Category:Bauhaus (band) members, Category:Bauhaus songs), at least 6 articles (Bauhaus (band), Discography, Love and Rockets, Tones on Tail, Dali's Car, The Bubblemen) and 1 template ({{Bauhaus}}), and can also be part (a subcategory) of several categories (Category:4AD artists, Category:British alternative rock groups, Category:Gothic rock groups, Category:Post-punk music groups). It is good for exploratory browsing of the subject. It has been deleted as an unpopulated category by User:Od Mishehu per Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#C1. But, is a category populated by 7 articles + 3 categories with 30+ articles unpopulated? I do not think so, and 10,000+ categories are in the same condition as this. I know that it is not an article and I'm sorry if this is not the right place, but I searched Wikipedia for a solution and found nothing, so I thought to post it here. Thanks and Cheers! -–pjoef (talk • contribs) 11:05, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
- It was deleted as an empty category, but there's nothing stopping you from populating it yourself. Vegan for the Earth
The purpose of this page was to provide vital information regarding the crucial new evidence, detailed in a report by two researchers for the World bank, as to the true contribution of animal farming to greenhouse gas emissions. This report, a link to which was provided, as was a link to the vegan for the earth website which contains further information, calculates the true figure to be fifty one percent. As the need to consume less meat in order to address climate change, has already become something of a hot potato when the figure was thought to be eighteen percent, the new figure highlghts the extreme seriousness of the situation, and the associated need to do something about it without delay. As the simple response is to move to a vegan diet, I assert the relevance and importance of this page, and the information which it contains, and which it is linked to. I would, therefore ask that you restore it. Thank you.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Veganfortheearth (talk • contribs)

I believe the article in Human Design, or The Human Design System, was deleted by misunderstandings by a small handful of misinformed individuals. I can understand they had only the best intentions, but this wrong decision remains wrong.
Human Design appears to be one of the fastest growing bodies of thought and conceptual ideas on the planet right now. Just Google Human Design, it is more present on the planet than many other ideas now on wikipedia.
It is way out of balance for such a hugely popular topic to disappear in this way. I have signed up to wiki now to present this argument and reverse the deletion decision.
I have written a more complete argument, but for now I want to know WHO to talk to about this. I believe keeper77, who made the deletion, is not longer available for contact?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikemahalo (talk • contribs)

This article was added by me along with several other articles on wiki. The article 'Belitsoft' was deleted even without discussion - I see no any comments about the reason why the article was deleted or who deleted the article. The Kate Kennedy Club plays a significant part in university life at St Andrews, organizing two major balls, the Opening and May Balls, as well as a historic procession important to both the University and the town's tradition. Furthermore a googling of the Kate Kennedy Club would show it has been in the press a significant amount more than just one Telegraph article as the deletion rationale stated. Please explain why you decided to delete this article anout a legitimate company, it's history, etc. The article was formatted much like the article titled Muzak. I was very careful to write it simply as information, not as promotion. Why did you delete it? If this was deleted, why is Muzak allowed to have a page about their company? If I made a mistake, I apologize. Why can't you just tell me what to change and I'll change it? Thank you for your consideration. -Brucelivolsi (talk) 21:15, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- Not done - the article was deleted because it seemed to be promotional information that did not assert the notability of the company. God Is in the TV Zine
the reason for "vandalism" does not subsits as to my latest knowledge there was nothing as such, the page was simply a history and description of the website. As for the website being irrelevant, it is actually one of the main UK indie music websites and it's featured multiple times here in wikipedia as well on albums' pages linking to the reviews on the website itself -Sheentylla (talk) 22:13, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

- I will notify user TheJazzDalek (talk · contribs) who proposed it, in case he wishes to nominate it under the Articles for deletion process, which would start a debate lasting seven days to which you would be welcome to contribute. Possibly more of a history merge, as the initial article dates back to 2008, whilst the current article is only a year old -Londo 06 03:01, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- Under this title I cannot see any deleted revisons. Rather it seems that it has been created by you as stub two years ago.[4] and has never been deleted but only been moved. So unless the story is more complicated, there does not seem to be a need to a history merge. Maybe the confusion arises from a major rewrite prepared by User:Slater582 in his sandbox? --Tikiwont (talk) 07:53, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Cam Folker
I wish for this article to be undeleted because I added it because this person was not only interesting but famous with no information about him, it showed the article was deleted because of A7. I did not know it was published because I was await review, but the article is more than valid. Check the reference page and how many fans both nationally and internationally. He hasn't been on facebook for very long but has a ton of fans and a lot of buzz around utah, he's been on several radio stations and knows a lot of famous people to boot. Please reconsider the submission, what I stated was short and factful without copying what was put on facebook. This is not opinion. Check his name on search engines. Paolo Iovannone is a canadian songwriter/producer from Montreal working under different names and groups. He is the recipient of a Juno Award for the recording project Capital Sound. (Best Dance Recording - 1995) Paolo has also received a Certificate Of Achievement Award for Songwriting by Billboard Magazine. (More Than Friends - 1990)
The main reason the page was deleted based on the feedback was unverifired claims and orphaned links and was then referred to link to allmusic.com so here's a link to allmusic.com
http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:dvfoxztgldfe
There are other links available and once page is up, we have no problem with editing info to meet Wikipedia's standards and edit the text to meet those as well. Blueskinge (talk) 13:47, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
- Done I have restored the article. What you need to do is sort out the references: two that I sampled do not seem to mention him, and the "Juno Archives" one didn't work when I tried it. The article asserts that he has won a Juno award and has sold a million discs in Canada alone, but it has been annotated to say that those claims are not supported by the references given. You should either find reliable sources to confirm the claims, or remove them; and it would be best to remove references that do not actually mention the artist. The allmusic link you give doesn't say anything about him, much less confirm the claims in the article - it just gives a list of songs. JohnCD (talk) 16:36, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. The page has been modified to meet what we believe to be Wiki's standards. Please let me know if this is acceptable and will do same for other pages. Thank you.
Kate Kennedy Club (second application)
(see also similar advice at first application further up this page.)
This page was originally deleted as it required further citations or verification/ it did not meet 'general notability guidelines' and required further reliable secondary sources. This page, should, however, be restored as it is an accurate account of an exceptionally active and world renowned club which has an extensive history. The Kate Kennedy Club exists to preserve the Kate Kennedy Procession which dates back to the 15th century. This Procession remains a key feature of the calendar of both the town and University of St Andrews as a result of the Kate Kennedy Club. Furthermore, the club remains committed to its three aims, and is one of the most active clubs at the University of St Andrews. Finally, the Kate Kennedy Club is renowned as one of the most exclusive gentlemen's clubs in the world, and is referenced in numerous other Wikipedia articles, not to mention national press. Many more secondary sources can be added to the article to add to its credibility and further verify it. It is simply outrageous that such a notable and active club with such history should be removed from Wikipedia, and as such I hope it can be restored. - —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rdg22 (talk • contribs) 20:37, 29 March 2010
