Orphaned non-free image File:Mainichi-Shimbun-sample-p1.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Mainichi-Shimbun-sample-p1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:38, 5 January 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Warren Vaché
Hello. I see that you have moved Warren Vaché Jr. and created a new disambiguation page. Unfortunately, this left about 80 articles linking to Warren Vaché, which is no longer their correct destination. I've tried to fix all resulting mis-directed links, but I'm not a music expert and had to leave a few dozen. They are probably all for the more famous Jr. but in many cases all we have is an unsourced "Smith worked with Warren Vaché" and I'd prefer not to guess. Any help with finishing the job would be welcome. Thanks, Certes (talk) 23:18, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your efforts. For the remaining items, I will try to fix to the best of my knowledge, or in rare cases, leave them as is, if I'm not sure. werldwayd (talk) 13:24, 10 February 2019 (UTC)

Burak Aydos moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Burak Aydos, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Aylin Vatankoş
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Aylin Vatankoş requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Bishara
Hi, I removed a lot of fluff from the original draft of the article. I was wondering if a move to Bishara Morad is appropriate as of now. Since he is best known under his full name. I have no strong feeling either way.BabbaQ (talk) 01:59, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
- Since he is known as Bishara, I think Bishara (singer) is preferable. I know we have the habit of using family name at times, like Darin Zanyar (instead of Darin (singer)) and Ola Svensson instead of Ola (singer), in this case Swedish Wikipedia used Bishara Morad. So it's your call I guess. I prefer Bishara (singer). werldwayd (talk) 02:03, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
- I guess Bishara (singer) is the best since it will likely be moved there eventually anyway. I guess depending on results in Melodifestivalen his article will get plenty of views.--BabbaQ (talk) 02:05, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

The file File:Moog-film-soundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Moog (film)#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:37, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Charlie McGettigan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paul Harrington (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Conflict of interest policy
Hello, Werldwayd. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 03:13, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Your draft article, Draft:Apostolic Church (Czechoslovakia)
Hello, Werldwayd. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Apostolic Church".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 13:05, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Dutch male pornographic film actors
A tag has been placed on Category:Dutch male pornographic film actors requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
Liz Read! Talk! 02:36, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

Love Me Baby moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Love Me Baby, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

Speedy deletion nomination of Chris Birch
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Chris Birch requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.
Speedy deletion nomination of Fernando Zor
A tag has been placed on Fernando Zor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Implausible redirect, title contains four word joiners at the end. Duplicate to Fernando Zor. See Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2019_August_22#Fernando_Zor????
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
Hi there,
I noticed that you made a few edits on the page Scaphe a little more than a year ago. I noticed a few issues with the page (most dating from before your edits); see its Talk page.
Considering your contribution to that article, I was hoping that together, we could increase its quality level and fix those issues to the best we can. Your help will be appreciated.
Best regards,

- I am all for improving articles on hand throughout Wikipedia, but also acknowledging that my various edits here on this page did not touch the basic content that was there. But for improvement, possibly the French page article, particularly the section "Historique" there has valuable information that can be used to add to this version in English. The French section also contains references that can be utilised as well. werldwayd (talk) 15:53, 12 October 2019 (UTC)

- I see you created this article but you never added any sources about his birth place or about his nationality, there has been some edits changing his birth place which I have reverted as I thought they were suspicious and you can't change anything without adding a source, I am sure you are quite certain he was born in Palma Majorca Spain but want to clear this up thankyou. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Afrikaans-language songs
A tag has been placed on Category:Afrikaans-language songs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
Liz Read! requested move about "Hope Lodge"
Hi Werldwayd, i am glad you're here contributing to Wikipedia. Hey, please see the requested move that I just opened at Talk:Hope Lodge (disambiguation)#Requested move 17 November 2019. I disagree with your February 2018 move of disambiguation page to Hope Lodge (disambiguation) so that you could use "Hope Lodge" for the article that i have, maybe confusingly, already moved to Hope Lodge (American Cancer Society). I am sure that is an important program, but I do not think it should get "primary usage" designation in Wikipedia. Anyhow, please feel free to comment at the discussion. --Doncram (talk) 01:59, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- Hi again, thanks for commenting there. Actually i do think you have a point that the ACS' Hope Lodge program is fairly "important", and maybe/probably should have more prominent coverage in Wikipedia. Consensus about which is "primary topic" for now may be decided by which article gets the most traffic, or at least that is a big factor. I am not sure how others look up traffic stats, offhand. But the current ACS article is in fact very small so probably not much linked from external places, and it is an "orphan" in Wikipedia, so it is not surprising to me that it doesn't have much traffic.
- About your note "Relegating it to Hope Lodge (American Cancer Society) further washes down its significance as a veritably vital social project", I don't agree with that, i don't think it is hurt at all.
- You wrote "....I am genuinely surprised the ACS Hope Lodge page I've launched hasn't seen any significant edit ever since. I thought that such a project of immense value would prompt fellow colleagues to develop it further as it serves a huge vital need in society." About that, well, importance does not translate automatically to attracting editors, of course. But I do actually agree, and I would be willing to help develop it some if you are too, after this Requested Move is closed (my guess is that the RM will be accepted).
- And then if it is a bigger/better article, it will attract more readership, and its location/title in Wikipedia can be revisited.
- Anyhow, let me know if you do want to work on it together, later. You don't have to, you already did contribute by identifying the topic as valid and making a start with it. I usually write about historic sites, like places listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but i am willing to do other stuff too, and this indeed appears to be a worthy thing. --Doncram (talk) 18:56, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- I just loved the elaborate and very sensible comments you made about this matter on my talk page. It is with such reconciliatory and understanding messages that we progress in Wikipedia. After your message, I realized that this subject of ACS support centers needs to be expanded further and I will do the extra effort on my part to expand it in Wikipedia, with of course appreciating any input you may make for improvement of the article as well. I do feel though that the consensus, for now, is to make Hope Lodge a disambiguation. I usually don't argue my points to the end and apply a "laissez faire" attitude about things as I have created so many articles by now that I realize nothing should be set in stone. As long as people can reach the information they need, and the articles are still there, I am all for it. And here videos for inspiration and hope and for us to do more on this page. [1] [2]

The article Kevin Widemond has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:NHOOPS guidelines. Death may be tragic, but wikipedia is WP:NOTMEMORIAL
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rusf10 (talk) 00:32, 26 December 2019 (UTC)

Alexandre Tarta moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Alexandre Tarta, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published.
