Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Thermicknight7, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:19, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Jean Daniel Nieto has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Yabluchne moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Yabluchne, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:03, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Stealing Eden requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Civility is not just good manners, it's also policy. Do not respond like this again. If you plan on writing an article, then be prepared to do so by actually writing content. Tying in a placeholder of "(PAGE UNDERGOING EDITING PLEASE LET US TAKE THE TIME TO DO SO!)" is not acceptable. -- Whpq (talk) 00:27, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Spiderone. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Thermicknight7 that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Information icon Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 02:44, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said, fuck you. Maybe help me on this instead of harrasing me? if anything you are being uncivil. Thermicknight7 (talk) 04:26, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Thermicknight7 your behaviour is absolutely out of line. It is never okay to abuse another editor. MaxnaCarta (talk) 10:42, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but I am new to making pages and I have no idea how to and I would love some help! Thermicknight7 (talk) 22:40, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject.
Please see this page on citing sources and Wikipedia:Common sourcing mistakes (notability). This page has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{Reflist}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there.
New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the TEAHOUSE and on IRC chat, as well as Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk. Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure is a useful tutorial. Perhaps this will help you get right footed. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:17, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sweet Jesus. Hopefully the people you've been insulting and attacking will now feel inclined to give you the time of day. Up to you moving forward. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:22, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How professional, instead of helping somebody out you call them out. Thermicknight7 (talk) 01:55, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, if that's how you see it. I left you help. Your attitude seems to preclude any willingness in others to help. Sorry. I did try to help you, but if this is your response, I can see I have nothing to offer you. Good day. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 02:01, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever, this is unprofessionalism at it's finest! Thermicknight7 (talk) 02:03, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Plus, you can definitely understand the frustration when someone thinks they can go on one of the pages you made, delete it without even asking you, how would they like it if I did the same to them? Wouldn't feel so good huh? Thermicknight7 (talk) 02:12, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why should you be exempt from our policies and guidelines? You aren't being treated differently from any other editor. You shouldn't take it personally. And it's hard to get help and advice from others if you are going to abuse them. We try to help new editors and have a variety of ways of doing that. Doug Weller talk 07:26, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Thermicknight7. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 08:28, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stealing Eden moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Stealing Eden, has been moved to draftspace, since you have kept the page as simply the notice for nine hours already. If you don't plan on working on an article for a while, then draftspace is usually better as readers will not see it until it is in tip-top shape. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ways to improve Majority Of One

[edit]

Hello, Thermicknight7,

Thank you for creating Majority Of One.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Is there anything to indicate this album's notability? E.g., chart position, awards it was nominated for or won, chart position of the single, etc?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.
