An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant – Khorasan Province, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hazara. Hi ThePaganUK, I just reverted your edit to Template:2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine infobox because as explained in Q2 of Talk:2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine/FAQ:

"A discussion took place to decide whether countries supplying arms should be listed in the infobox, and the outcome was 'No Consensus'.

Please do not add individual countries without discussing here first. While consensus can change, please review the closed discussion, and try to bring forward novel arguments."

See also this more recent RFC on the same topic that also closed "No Consensus". If you feel that you have a new argument that wasn't covered in those 2 RFCs you should bring them to Talk:2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine for discussion.

I have to say, PaganUK, I doubt the necessity of having the article about this. They are low-level clashes at most, and SOHR, though a reliable source, has been taking HTS figures for regime losses at face value, even though HTS regularly exaggerates with these claims. There isn't much information to go off of anyhow. 2601:85:C101:C9D0:819:20A3:85F1:1321 (talk) 04:37, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I just thought it'd be better to record these clashes in one article as opposed to the Timeline of the Syrian civil war (2022) article. I am definitely doubtful HTS has had such low casualties in these clashes. I do however believe there is an upward trend of attacks, as viewed on telegram channels where fallen soldiers have been recorded from social media posts etc. So I do believe SAA forces are taking losses here but I am doubtful HTS's have been so low.
Ah ok. I'll just add in the infobox then that the tolls are from SOHR, if you don't mind. 2601:85:C101:C9D0:6947:6734:EB1A:EFB9 (talk) 02:29, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Diverse sources

[edit]

Hey ThePaganUK. First of all, I wanted to thank you for all the work and updates you do on Timeline of the Israel–Hamas war (7 May 2024 – present). That said, I wanted to mention about using multiple sources for statements in the timeline. I've looked at several timeline edits you have made (picked at random from your last 50 recent edits), and every one I clicked happened to be a reference from Al Jazeera. Per WP:RSP, Al Jazeera is a reliable secondary source. However, maybe you should consider looking at other sources as well for events added to the timeline.

For instance, you added (in these two edits: [1][2] an Israeli raid in Qabatiya on 13 June using only a source from Al Jazeera. Your entry was altered by myself in this edit and later by Borgenland in this edit. In my addition, I added a reference on the same event from Reuters, which described more to the event, including that there was a shooting skirmish that took place. Al Jazeera did not mention the shooting skirmish.

That is just a recent example I could find. So my advice would be add the Al Jazeera-based information, but it would greatly improve the quality of the timeline if you also do a Google search for some non-Al Jazeera-based reference. Cheers!
