Adding names with no evidence of notability
[edit]Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. [edit]Hello, I'm Obi2canibe. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sri Lankan Tamil diaspora, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Obi2canibe (talk) 21:24, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Indian Americans, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:18, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Huron, South Dakota, you may be blocked from editing. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:51, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Loudoun County, Virginia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spanish. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:14, 5 April 2021 (UTC)

Unsourced additions
[edit]Hi Teluguwaifu. Thank you for the considerable contributions you made to History of seafood. However, unfortunately you omitted to cite any of your contributions. Verifiability, which means locating suitable sources, is now a Wikipedia policy. So I've removed the material you added for now, though you can still find it archived in the page history. If you'd like to locate reliable sources then you are welcome to reinstate your additions. Regards — Epipelagic (talk) 23:30, 14 October 2022 (UTC)

History of Chinese Americans in Idaho moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, History of Chinese Americans in Idaho, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. [edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at List of national animals. --Yamla (talk) 16:24, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- hello yamla,
- thank you for the message, i will try to make sure to avoid adding major/significant unsourced information from now on even if it seems reliable. thank you Teluguwaifu (talk) 16:43, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- You have continued to make significant edits without providing a WP:CITE for those edits. You've been warned about this before, you've been blocked before. Every single non-trivial edit from you should, from now on, include a citation. WP:CITE and WP:RS are the policies relevant here. --Yamla (talk) 21:46, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

User page
[edit]Hello,
Nice user page. However, please note the following:
- I have changed your "gender" field in the infobox from "nonbinary trans woman" to "nonbinary" as it seemed contradictory. Feel free to hit me up on my talk page if you oppose that or reply here (but ping me).
- It might be a good idea to add babel templates to tell other editors how much of English, Spanish, and Telugu you know.
Feel free to ask me on my talk page with any questions. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 01:55, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- I've undone the change. @TheTechie, please don't edit other people's user pages like this - if it's written in a certain way, there's probably a reason for it.
- (To be clear, Teluguwaifu, you're more than welcome to reinstate the change if you prefer it that way - I just didn't feel it was appropriate for someone other than yourself to modify your userpage in this way.)
- All the best, —a smart kitten[meow] 10:36, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia. I have just come from reverting your unsourced addition of potentially controversial content at Flag of Minnesota. I see here that you have history of adding unsourced material and have been warned repeatedly about it. Yet you continue, even noting that you haven't got reliable sources for your edits. This is not good, you are damaging the project, stop doing it please! Captainllama (talk) 16:27, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
