Hello, I'm EtienneDolet. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. You followed my contributions just to revert me at an article you've never edited before. Given that you have a history of this, I'd advise you not to continue doing this. So please, do not stalk other users. Étienne Dolet (talk) 05:17, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
- That template is on my watchlist, it's not ok to come to editors talk pages and demand that they not revert you. I'm also not sure what you found offensive about the edit other than it was reverted. I left a policy justification. The fact that you have edited an article before me does not mean you can edit war with me on any article you want, while at the same time demanding that I not revert you. I have only been editing for a year and many articles on my watchlist I have not worked on extensively yet, but a random complaint from Khiruig is not a "history" - unless you have specific evidence, and can explain specifically what it is you found offensive, don't post personal attacks/improper warning templates on my talk page.Seraphim System (talk) 04:03, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- All the edit summary says, by the way, is "justify inclusion on talk per WP:ONUS" [1] - can you explain why you feel this is harassment/offensive? It's a personal attack to accuse other editors or not acting in good faith without evidence ("You followed my contributions just to revert me at an article you've never edited before."), and routinely accusing other editors of JDLI or using JDLI as a justification for reversion, insisting that the burden is on other editors to reach consensus on talk for content that you want to include that is disputed. This is basic policy that all editors should follow during collaborative editing - My friendly advice is that you take a step back and examine whether your own conduct may be part of the problem. Seraphim System (talk) 04:16, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- Have you read the articles in question before reverting? Have you taken your own advice? Apparently not. Because Balikci's murder had to do with nationalism. Elza Niego's murder had to do with nationalism. Corum massacre can also be qualified as nationalist and you could be constructive about it instead of doing blanket reverts. Étienne Dolet (talk) 05:12, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- Please continue this discussion at the template talk page, I already responded there. Now you are discussing on talk, I think this is better than repeating the same thing over and over again, but I am working on unrelated articles right now.Seraphim System (talk) 05:21, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive
G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
- updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.

NOTHERE...
So, let me ask you, do you think this IP who made an edit-summary like this is here to contribute the encyclopedia in a neutral manner? I mean, you tell me. Étienne Dolet (talk) 20:12, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
- EtienneDolet Serious behavioral problems like WP:NOTHERE should be taken to ANI, you should not respond to them by reverting basic non-controversial improvements to an article. The edit updated the infobox casualty count replacing one Hurriyet source with a more recent one. There was nothing wrong with the edit itself, only some POV language in the edit summary. I can't see any legitimate reason why that edit would be reverted and you didn't provide one in your edit summary. Reverting an improvement to the article because you don't like the POV of the editor (based on the edit summary) is not an improvement to the article. Seraphim System (talk) 18:27, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Edits that can be considered legitimate on one hand, can be seen as POV pushing on the other. Legitimate edits can still be ascribed as POV pushing if indeed the there's a personal motive to make such a edit. Would you consider it to be POV pushing if, for example, some user in their edit-summary wrote "added info on n******" to an article about African Americans? I definitely would. 18:58, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- I think most admins and editors would agree that your personal disagreement with an editors POV or
personal motive
is not a justification to revert, in fact it can be grounds to sanction you - based on my interactions with you my sincere advice is to stop personalizing disputes and focus on the content of the edits and not the editor, or what you believe their "personal motive"s are. If the language on talk or in edit summaries is racist or otherwise crosses behavioral lines it needs to go to ANI, because everyone is allowed to edit until a decision is made by the community or admins that they are not.Seraphim System (talk) 19:04, 9 April 2018 (UTC)

New Page Reviewer Flag
Hi, Seraphim System.
I've noticed that you are an AfC reviewer but don't yet have the New Page Reviewer flag. Would you please consider heading over to PERM and requesting it? (check the flag requirements HERE)
As part of a larger plan to increase cooperation between New Page Patrol and Articles for creation, we are trying to get as many of the active AfC reviewers as possible under the NPR user flag (per this discussion). Unlike the AfC request list, the NPR flag carries no obligation to review new articles, so I'm not asking you to help out at New Page Patrol if you don't want to, just to request the flag.
Of course, if it is something you would be interested in, you can have a look at the NPP tutorial. Please mention that you are an active AfC reviewer in your application.
Cheers and thanks for helping out at AfC, — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 06:40, 11 April 2018 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
Hello Seraphim System. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia; if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
- URGENT: Please consider helping get the huge backlog down to a manageable number of pages as soon as possible.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:11, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for your comment on Association Montessori Internationale - please don't delete the page - I will work on it - AMI is important because it is nearly 90 years old and it is the mother institution for the global Montessori movement - it was founded by Maria Montessori herself. It is the owner of the archive of Montessori's work.
Too late - someone else deleted it because of your tag - very frustrating. Chemical287 (talk) 19:28, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
