Speedy Deletion of Charles LaRocca
Hi SamHolt6,
No big deal. No hard feelings. I was just creating a page like other professionals in my field have done. Rather than contest my listing, I have just requested speedy deletions of all of their pages -- which were exactly like mine. Most of which have already been removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chaz7979 (talk • contribs) 03:29, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion of Kestutis Rasimavicius
Hello SamHolt6. Thank you for deleting Kestutis Rasimavicius as it was posted unfinished by mistake. However, I've done editing the article. I added factual content of why the subject is important and referenced it thoroughly. Please review the speedy deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FitWriter (talk • contribs) 00:09, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- @FitWriter: Hello, thanks for contacting me. Due to multiple recreations and deletions, Kestutis Rasimavicius has been protected and cannot be recreated. You will have to contact and Admin to have gain permission to create the article. SamHolt6 (talk) 00:14, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
WhaleBot
Please remove the speedy deletion tag from the WhaleBot article, as this piece of software is used by 70k-100k users on Telegram, and they use it very frequently.
Request for Deletion
Please delete the page TEC Edmonton. While there is absolutely no conflict of interest, the fact that you have put up a COI tag does not look good. Thus, I believe it would be better if you removed the article all toegther. Even though me and the other editor had come to a consensus on the talk page that once the copyright issue was resolved the tag would be removed as per the "when to remove COI tag" section, it seems that you would rather exercise your authority to disrupt and harass contributors instead of supporting access of information (which may I remind you is one of Wikipedia's mandates).
I will definately be stopping any further financial contributions to Wikipedia after witnessing just how uncooperative and harsh the editors are.
- I think you misunderstand. The COI tag is in place as you are a employee of the company, not because of the copyright violations. Please see WP:PAID.--SamHolt6 (talk) 01:28, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
- As per WP:PAID:
- A paid contribution is one that involves contributing to Wikipedia in exchange for money or other inducements. It includes adding or removing content from any page, including articles and talk pages.
- I am not getting paid a dime and expect no compensation whatsoever in any form. This is an independent project that I undertook to bring awareness to a Non-profit institution. While I can understand the basis for this COI, you are an editor and as such can conduct an independent review to determine if the article contains any misleading or exagerrated statements that might justify a COI. I can assure you every bit of info in this article is factual and cited. However, I don't expect you will take into account my logical arguement, because you'd rather exercise your authority and threaten to ban, rather than assisting with the sharing of fair and accurate information for the masses.

DYK for George Charles Beckley
On 29 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article George Charles Beckley, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that according to family tradition, George Charles Beckley designed the Flag of Hawaii, which was passed down as an heirloom in the form of a child's frock? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/George Charles Beckley. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, George Charles Beckley), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Welcome to MILHIST
Hello and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you are interested, or you can add it directly to your user page by copying the following: {{WPMILHIST Announcements}}.

- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, writing contests, and article logistics.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a set of guidelines that cover article structure and content, template use, categorization, and many other issues of interest.
- If you're looking for something to work on, there are many articles that need attention, as well as a number of review alerts.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask any of the project coordinators or any other experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome, and we are looking forward to seeing you around! Anotherclown (talk) 03:21, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
March Madness 2017
G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.
For the Milhist co-ordinators. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) & MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 07:24, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deleting
Why did you delete my passage about king of thieves it is an actual game and it is the first topic I wrote Infominer17 (talk) 20:49, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Infominer17:. Nominated article for deletion based off of Wikipedia's criteria. The key word is nominated, an administrator deleted your page base off of my recommendation.--SamHolt6 (talk) 21:10, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
Hello SamHolt6 If you don't know the person or the local area, I don't think you should try to gauge something as promotional when it clearly isn't. There are no dealership or physical stores linked to or mentioned. It is simply an article that highlights a local celebrity doing good in his community and country. Please take down your nomination if you aren't from the local area. If you don't' know the person that is fine, but many people from the local community will find this information useful. We do not have enough content in our local area and I would appreciate that we help each other and build each other up with positive information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by H abramyk (talk • contribs) 21:06, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
It did not take more than a few seconds to erase my work. Are you proud now? The IAA is an advertising association giant, going well beyond any boundary that you appear to be aware of. Correspondingly, it plays a significant global role. You didn't give me (or anyone) a chance to add news references, but you'd be well advised - unless you suffer from a marked conflict of interest - to make yourself a little more knowledgeable about the ramifications of the industry. -- Kku (talk) 13:41, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
- Noted. Notice however that I tagged the page for deletion, and did not delete it myself. I recommend creating an article in your sandbox first before attempting to create to avoid this problem. As far as the IAA is concerned, the salting will prevent it from being created in the future. Regards. SamHolt6 (talk) 13:45, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing out the user space method. Even by only looking at the member list, it should have been fairly obvious that we are not discussing another fanboy site. Salting? What are you talking about? Do you mean to say there is a (hidden) switch to automatically erase stuff that was once (and for whatever bad reason) evaluated as not notable?? What kind of nonsense is this? -- Kku (talk) 13:58, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
- OK. Wikipedia:Protection_policy#Creation_protection. Right. Since you appear to be aware of the mechanism, why did you NOT give me a chance to argue first? If the mechanism was in place before, why did it even let me recreate the thing? Are you aware of who salted the page and when (a quick glance at protected:pages did not provide me with any information) Please clarify. -- Kku (talk) 14:02, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi SamHolt6. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Hello SamHolt6! I was just wondering if you would like to do new pages patrol sometimes. Let me know if you are interested. Regards, Alex ShihTalk 10:07, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

- I figured so. Maybe this might help with your work. Alex ShihTalk 18:09, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
Hello SamHolt6. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.
- URGENT: Please consider helping get the huge backlog down to a manageable number of pages as soon as possible.
- Be nice to new users - they are often not aware of doing anything wrong.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted - be formal and polite in your approach to them too, even if they are not.
- Don't review a page if you are not sure what to do. Just leave it for another reviewer.
- Remember that quality is quintessential to good patrolling. Take your time to patrol each article, there is no rush. Use the message feature and offer basic advice.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. Alex ShihTalk 18:09, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks Alex.--SamHolt6 (talk) 18:10, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Barrett Larkin
Wikipedia is not for self promotion. That is true. Fortunately for the article in question, it is purely objective and I invite you to actually read the article and point out an example of a non-neutral tone. There are no promotional links or anything positive about the subject.
- Inclusion of a subject on Wikipedia grants said subject free publicity. Creating a page, even a neutral page, is a form of promotion.--SamHolt6 (talk) 22:03, 12 September 2017 (UTC)
In that case I would like to ask your help to delete every single article about a company, business, product, or entertainment as it is granting said subjects free publicity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blarkin16 (talk • contribs) 18:58, 13 September 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: ResDiary
Hello SamHolt6. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of ResDiary, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: text is not unambiguously promotional, coverage in multiple RS indicates significance. Thank you. SoWhy 15:00, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
- I had a look at the references. None of them satisfy WP:CORPDEPTH. There are also clear signs of COI editing. Mduvekot (talk) 15:49, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
Just a heads up that if you tag an article for WP:A10 speedy deletion for being duplicative of an existing article, you should redirect the new article to the pre-existing article if the new article's page name is a valid redirect. I'm here to learn!
Hi SamHolt6 - I attempted to create an article last week about a company who I not only admire, but that has clearly helped a lot of people in my business build their careers (myself included) and reach their goals. I'm referring to Casting Frontier. I was hoping my article would celebrate the company's uniqueness and importance in entertainment and casting in general. I first discovered CF through an agent of mine and got curious about it and then found an article about its founder in I believe INC or Backstage (here in Los Angeles). Anyway, I'm here to learn so if you wouldn't mind letting me know what about what I wrote didn't sit well with you, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to re-write it in a way that you feel would be appropriate and have your guidance. Re: Speedy Deletion of Combs Enterprises page
SamHolt6,
I received your message about your speedy deletion of the Combs Enterprises page which I put up earlier this week. I put some time and effort into putting that page together and I don't believe it deserved to be speedily deleted for "advertising" or WP:Puffery. Maybe you've been too quick on the trigger for this one? I believe you did not take into account a stipulation on Speedy Deletion criteria G11 whereby it states "If a subject is notable and the content could plausibly be replaced with text that complies with neutral point of view, this is preferable to deletion."
There was no intention on my part to engage in any kind of advertising or non-neutral language and I believe I kept my prose straight and factual. I described this in more detail on the Talk page for the now deleted page in a speedy deletion protest but I don't know if its too late to get it undeleted or a second opinion from another editor? Has the page now been deleted permanently? StarBRTalk —Preceding undated comment added 23:17, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
- While your concerns are warranted (I do engage in many deletion taggings), I believe Wikipedia:Teahouse#Re: Protesting a speedy deletion. What is the timeframe to protest? has answered your inquiry. Good day.--SamHolt6 (talk) 05:09, 18 September 2017 (UTC)

- Sometimes if we just let things "slide", it will allow room for improvement. (WP:COMMON) There are plenty of articles I've watch be built up from one-line sentences. A few still exist in the Vietnamese food category as such. My edits were made with the intent for the article to grow and be added upon, which I would have gotten to eventually if no one else did. The big issue I saw and wanted to resolve is that these two things were being conflated. Taking your word into consideration, I think the best thing to do is to leave the name space for hủ tiếu blank and delete any redirects. That is until someone can procure references to support whether or not it should or should not be redirected to kuy teav (as of right now I am not able to provide). --Dara (talk) 02:22, 22 October 2017 (UTC)

You're welcome! I encountered it on chance while writing redirects from short form names of universities, colleges, and high schools used on ETS's 2017 list of GRE paper testing locations. Texas church shooting info. superfluous?
There had been mention in the article that the pastor was not present during the shooting. I modified to include reference to where he was at the time. I got a question
Hi,
Thanks for reviewing one of the pages I created (HNLMS Mercuur (A900)). Since you reviewed my page, I though I might ask you a question about something. I made yesterday the page HNLMS Zeeleeuw (1987), however, when I look at at this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Walrus-class_submarines it does not put it under Z of Zeeleeuw like it did with the walrus submarine under W. I tried editing the page manually but there is no way to do it? It seems like it is automated or something. I wondered if you could tell me how to fix it.

2017 Military Historian of the Year and Newcomer of the Year nominations and voting
As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. The co-ordinators invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project. Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017. Question
Hello, you have reviewed one of my articles, so it seemed like you know what you're doing :) I'm still very new. There is this book that was published last summer, and is being widely cited, even though it's known to be a questionable source. There's lots of articles and even scientific papers talking about how the contents are not true, while I've seen several Wikipedia articles reference the book in the text. Is it appropriate to make an article for the book and then record what all the sources are saying about it? Then if someone is talking about it on Wikipedia, they can link to the article page and read about the book to decide for themselves. What do you think? Question
why do you think Tang Yan (CEO) should redirect to Momo?. this article has individual notability ,has lots of references and its different with Momo.and I think it should be better changed back 维基百科123 (talk) 01:48, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
- @维基百科123: Thank you for reaching out to me. My my concern about an individual article about Tang Yan (CEO) is mostly due to WP:BIO failures. Yan has some coverage about him, but the vast majority of the coverage that mentions Yan is not about him as an individual, but rather about the founding and idea behind Momo. This information already exists at Momo#Founding and incorporation. This is an issue, as notability is not inherited from one's company. Additionally, the sources about Yan are based around interviews with Yan, and so are not independent of the subject. This also indicates a WP:GNG failure. My advice would be to add content to the Momo article. If you find any significant coverage about Yan, or he becomes notable for some other reason in the future, I will gladly revisit the issue.SamHolt6 (talk) 02:41, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

Superwind / Galactic winds
I've had to revert your drastic changes on these pages. I think you misunderstood the distinctions, and you should have gained consensus when doing so. I left a note on the Talk:Superwind explaining it. The term superwind applies to mass loss of AGB/Red Giant stars, which is lost by the internal structure by the core slowing shrinking at the expanding cool atmosphere. The superwind comes in the last stages of evolution, blowing a bubble of gas around the white dwarf. When planetary nebulae are made, the white dwarf is exposed, lighting the nebulae. The wind between ordinary wind and superwind gets fast as the core is exposed. The superwind, being faster plows into the older shells/ordinary wind, forming bubbles, rings, or bipolar outflows as we visually see. Galactic winds (plural) are hotter, caused in the galaxy by spiral density waves or supernova. Their compositions are different, the effect on the interstellar medium are different, the causes are different and the velocities are different. Please discuss on Talkpage and get consensus. Thanks. Arianewiki1 (talk) 07:49, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- I thought about this article. Suggest instead dividing it in two separate ones. Happy to write-up the superwind one. Thanks. Arianewiki1 (talk) 22:17, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

Galactic (super-)winds
I'm sure you will have been watching your new article, but just to bring you up to speed: I have renamed the old superwind article to galactic superwind to separate two "superwind" topics that are unrelated. So now there are two articles about basically the same thing, galactic superwind and galactic winds. I have proposed that they be merged. Lithopsian (talk) 20:22, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
Rylo deletion
Hi SamHolt6, with regards to deletion of Rylo. I was going off of List of omnidirectional cameras and thought there would be room to flesh out some of these cameras and camera manufacturers. Other similar manufacturers with similar levels of notability from that list include Panono and Insta360. With regards to the criteria "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" my guess is there is such coverage (see https://www.google.com/search?q=rylo&tbm=nws for examples). But I don't feel strongly enough about it to contest or argue. Do you feel the article can be improved to cite more significant coverage from more reliable sources or is deletion your preferred course at the moment? Ubershmekel (talk) 10:09, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Gajjar Bhargav
Hi , I have declined speedy delete for copyright violation for Gajjar Bhargav, as the purported source, https://wordsimilarity.com/en/bhargav , links back to Wikipedia to show where they got the text from. So the copying was the other way around. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 04:53, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Graeme Bartlett: The situation of this article continues to grow unclear. Apparently (per this, [1] from 23 February) this work was used without permission and was copied from [2] an MIT related website entry which has now been blanked. This was seen and thus the article was deleted via G12, but not before the various mirrors of Wikipedia copied the article. So ye, you are correct in removing my speedy deletion tag, but the article still contains unattributed copyrighted material. I'm also sensing a COI in relation to this subject, so more action on the article may follow tomorrow. SamHolt6 (talk) 05:19, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
- It sounds as if they may have blanked the mit page. Anyway if it is the same as that MIT page was it is still a copyvio and will have to go. If it is a same person putting text on both places the situation is murkier. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:26, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
Hi SamHolt6, I am wondering if you could offer your thoughts, perhaps even briefly, to Talk:Sammy Sosa#Haitian ancestry down where it says third opinion.
The argument is that Miniaturas del béisbol by Héctor J. Cruz of Listin Diario, is a "weak source" even though its contents therein agree with multiple sources in regards to Haitian athletes in the Dominican Republic, hence why I disagree; citing that "such sources like this one could not contribute to Wikipedia biographies of living people because there is no self-identification given (autobiography)", which is a flat out false interpretation of WP:BLPSPS. If that was the case, 95% of our Wikipedia articles would not have any biographic content. I think the solution is clear, the source in question needs to be verified by an additional source.
Based on a faulty and current third opinion (actually "fourth opinion"), Osplace has taken the opportunity to not only venture to other articles to remove this source, but also did so to articles which had supporting source(s), all why slandering me for supposedly "[Haitianizing] Dominican athletes", citing Luisito Pié's article, which mind you is undeniably of Haitian descent and was even mocked and degraded by a Dominican news reporter for hoisting the Dominican flag during the Olympics with all sorts of racial slurs [3]; so not sure why he was singling him out on me.
Sammy Sosa's ancestry is minor in comparison to the bigger scope here, which is the unknown status of Dominican athletes of Haitian descent and their contributions to the sport bridged between the Dominican Baseball system and the MLB that I hope to help uncover. (It's enough for ESPN to write a whole feature story about it The complicated state of Haitian Dominicans in MLB)
If the source in question [4] (a 2008 achieve from a reputable newspaper publishing) was such a "weak" one, as our third opinionator is suggesting, then it would not agree with sources like El Dinero and Hoy, two reputable publications (not to mention a "second" editor from Listin Diario [5]), in terms of the statuses of Haitian athletes in the Dominican Baseball system, which from a biography perspective too, share many of the same names.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly. Savvyjack23 (talk) 03:17, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

Contesting speedy deletion of Swiggy
Hello SamHolt6,
Thank you for your message.
This page is created as a reference for people researching about online food delivery in India. Swiggy as food delivery service is as notable as Uber Eats, Foodpanda, and Zomato, if not more notable. I also tried to take references from these pages for the presentation style and information, except for the promotional content.
Swiggy is also the largest player in the country. My aim was to publish any information that was available about this organisation. But still skipped informational content around the company's history, business model and funding to make sure that the page doesn't read promotional. If the information that's being added is insufficient, and if I'm given time, I can add better information about, as stated above, the company's history, business model and funding.

- @DoctorNigeria: Thanks for reaching out to me. From my viewing of the article, I am guessing that you found the image [6] of Alichi online and uploaded it as your own work. This is incorrect, as Wikipedia abides by copyright law and needs to ensure that images used give credit to those that took them. I'd advise you to read this policy page [7]. Page deletion--Q
Hey!
First & foremost, thank you for your work in keeping Wikipedia great for everyone. It's no small amount of work and I sincerely commend you for it!
I was adding a page for a local political candidate and TV host--Stephanie Maghnam--and noticed you flagged it for deletion. I was just wondering given her public role in broadcasting if that wasn't sufficient to keep up?
I am working on sourcing everything but will make sure to do so quickly. Either way, appreciate your guidance as a senior editor! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Optimus subprime mortgage (talk • contribs) 02:40, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
DYK for French cruiser Milan
On 20 March 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article French cruiser Milan, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that upon her completion in 1885, the French cruiser Milan was considered the fastest warship afloat? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/French cruiser Milan. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, French cruiser Milan), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Contesting speedy deletion of Nanu Ki Jaanu
Hi SamHolt6, The page is created for upcoming movie known as 'Nanu ki Janu'. People search for the movie related information like story characters etc... Can you leave it alone? Please like it’s turning to the point where this is stressful. Shes clearly an recording artist, and a television personality, When you google her, her name pops up. She’s relevant, and the references I provided are all correct. I don’t know what to do anymore. Realmissvoodoo (talk) 23:18, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

Contesting Speedy Deletion of MrSuicideSheep
Hi SamHolt6,
I just wrote out a page for MrSuicideSheep and it was deleted due to it being inappropriate for a variety of reasons. We created the page to fix some linking we had with another Wikipedia page that was causing trouble within YouTube to incorrectly link MrSuicideSheep to a producer.
The problem with the link is that this producer is not MrSuicideSheep, nor is he a representative of the brand. In order to properly remove that erroneous link, the ideal option would be to have a MrSuicideSheep page that will trump all other pages with MrSuicideSheep mentioned in their articles.
SheepShepard (talk) 21:42, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
- @SheepShepard: I see, thanks for reaching out to me. Given the recent and spontaneous implementation of the new snippet system by YouTube, some pages are going to be thrown into chaos. Can you provide me with a more detailed explanation of what is happening, and could you also link me the articles YouTube is directing views to?SamHolt6 (talk) 21:50, 23 March 2018 (UTC)
Hi SamHolt6,
Yes, the article is Collin McLoughlin (music producer). I removed our mention there to just instantly remedy the situation - but it seems counter productive to remove our mentions each time the situation arises. YouTube was pulling this information from Google and providing a playlist of Collin's tracks alongside our searches, which provides him additional coverage of these tracks, majority of which do not appear on the MrSuicideSheep YouTube channel.
Ideally, I'd like to keep up the MrSuicideSheep page, as we're looking at also adding Seeking Blue (the record label), so that we can add in releases and dates and such. So if there is anything else that is not permitted within the article I will remove/adjust in order to keep.

Hi SamHolt6,
Wondering if you've had a chance to look at this? Would like to know if we can keep the page up or not.

I added an in popular culture section to the said page, but you reverted it. That event does play an important part in the game Assassins Creed: Rogue. Was it poorly written, or does a popular culture section simply not belong in particular page. There was not an explanation for the revert. - A discussion regarding information regarding the Assassins creed information was already held at [8]. Note that consensus must be reached for information to be included, rather than excluded. April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive
G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
- updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.

Deletion of Cognitive Information Processing Shell
I am wondering that why the term (Cognitive Information Processing Shell) is deleted, since it is a widely spread technology, and I want to create a page that more and more people know it and use it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Obook1 (talk • contribs) 16:54, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- Hi. Cognitive Information Processing Shell was deleted twice, once for not citing any sources and appearing to be coined by the article creator, and a second time for infringing on the copyright of another website. You may want to take a look at WP:NOT, or consider reading Wikipedia:My First Article. Cheers.--SamHolt6 (talk) 17:01, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion Embark (company)
Hi Sam,
I'm contesting your speedy deletion tag on that article. If it's a matter of POV tone, I'm happy to work with you to modify the wording, but that subject clearly meets WP:RS and WP:ORGCRIT. I'll try to add some additional sources now as well. Calm Omaha (talk) 01:10, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Calm Omaha: Thanks for reaching out to me. My tags were put in place as the article makes no credible claim to significance, I.E why the company is notable. It most definitely exists as an entity, but existence alone is not a reason for inclusion. Also for future reference, WP:RS is used to identify and judge references, not the articles said references are used on. Cheers, and good luck--SamHolt6 (talk) 02:08, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Sam, in regard to what you said there, it appears that RS is one of the four key criteria in regard to deletion. Regardless, I appreciate your concerns and I will continue to build upon what I've begun here to continue building the subject's notability. Calm Omaha (talk) 03:15, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- It looks like someone deleted it anyway despite the fact that I contested the speedy deletion tag. In any case, if you have any tips on how I can avoid those issues, as I recreate the article in draft space, please let me know, I always appreciate insight from others. I think it can become a good article with a little work. Calm Omaha (talk) 12:31, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Biography Reinhard Dallinger
Dear SamHolt6,
I carefully checked the biography and the supporting references are strong. I do not see any (non-speculative) evidence for a payment to what author ever. The biography you are tagging is about a well-known scientist in his field. The fact that an independent article in Science refers to the articles of Reinhard Dallinger is IMHO a strong evidence for his expertise. The Ventus55 discussion is some kind of outdated and in the German Wikipedia the tags have been removed after my edits. Tell me, where in this biography you feel bad about the neutral point of view? I am not interested in old stories of sock puppetry and sign my edits with my real name. Thorsten Schwerte (talk) 13:36, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Thorsten Schwerte: I see. The discussion relevant to Ventus55 can be found at Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard/Archive_121#Ventus_again. Ventus55 perpetuated a large, fairly sophisticated operation in which he cold-called potential article subjects offering them articles on Wikipedia in exchange for pay. This was brought to Wikipedia's attention when complaints were sent by someone Ventus55 solicited. The editor in question was banned in October 2017, and is still under active suspicion of using alternative, sock accounts to edit for pay. As far as the COI and UDP tags are concerned, these tags remain relevant to Reinhard Dallinger as the vast majority of the content on the article was added by Ventus55, and thus is suspect. You will also note that, as opposed to the German Wikipedia page about Dallinger, the English Wikipedia article has only been extensively edited by Ventus55 and User:Kipepea, who has been blocked for being a sockpuppet of the former. A re-write would be needed to remove the tags in question. Cheers.--SamHolt6 (talk) 13:53, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- Also are you insinuating that I do not edit under my own name? You will be pleased to know I have worn this name proudly since 1880, thank you very much.--SamHolt6 (talk) 14:46, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
Hey! Let's chat about why you're deleting credible sources from NewtonX
Hey, I wanted to check in specifically about why you deleted the sentence about NewtonX receiving funding from XFund - it is clearly stated that it received funding from this source in a Wired Magazine article. What was your logic for this?
I'd also like to point out that NY Tech Meetup is highly notable - it is the largest meetup group in the world and works in conjunction with TechStars (https://www.techstars.com/) pitch night. Do you know much about startups?

Yes! I do have questions.
Hi, you leave a message on the page I contributed.
Hello Masonfree,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Beeunity for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Sedale Threatt Jr. (actor)
Come on man, don't jump the gun. I see that the elder ST Jr. was the one that was deleted in 2011, and it was recreated last year. I cleared it up a little from what it was, but now I'm wondering if the page should be moved to Sedale Threatt Jr. (basketball), with ST Jr. as a dab page. What do you think? Ed Butowsky
Hi SamHolt6. The sources for Ed Butowsky are libelous. Ed himself has tried to remove content and has not been allowed. The sources are not neutral sources. Please accept my edits without reverting. I accidentally logged in to another account and was put in a sock puppet investigation. Please remove me from the investigation. --SamHolt6 (talk) 12:47, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
- @NoMinorChords: So you have said, so I have seen. Note that Wikipedia is built around the idea of community consensus, so I will insist that you start a discussion at Talk:Ed Butowsky before you remove significant information from the article. As for the SPI, leave a note at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/NoMinorChords. Thanks--SamHolt6 (talk) 19:53, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

FYI I took the COI tag off David Garrard (property developer) as several editors went in there and hugely expanded the article with new content.
