Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nu (mythology), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Heh. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

I'm not sure why you haven't responded to messages, but please stop copying content between articles without attribution. Additionally, I have reverted your edits at Pantheism because the information you were adding pertained to general cosmology and astronomy, rather than to Pantheism. TornadoLGS (talk) 01:56, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about all this. I have just released that adding "Main Page" isnt what was asked. I will begin changing those to "copied content from page name"
May i request you reverting taking away all the content I added to the page, since I spent a lot of research across Wikipedia and other sources to make. RileyXeon (talk) 02:06, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also Pantheism is the religious belief that the universe is a deity, so adding sections about the Big Band, which is the birth of that deity is necessary. RileyXeon (talk) 02:09, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Since the Pantheistic belief that the universe is a deity, writing about cosmology is necessary RileyXeon (talk) 02:11, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also the reason it has been difficult for me to add the "copied content from page name" is because I haven't been able to find the template (i am new to editing Wikipedia) RileyXeon (talk) 02:15, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I can see the connection, but the whole section on astronomy that you added was a tangent, almost entirely WP:OFFTOPIC and WP:IRRELEVANT. For instance, the topic of the Big Bang is irrelevant unless it is specifically in regard to its role in pantheism. In a similar sense, If I were to write an article about an actor, I would not include general information about acting. Especially considering that pantheism predates our modern understanding of astronomy, the structure of galaxies, stars, and planets is not really essential to the belief. TornadoLGS (talk) 02:28, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I suggest taking this matter to the article's talk page rather than continuing to revert in order to avoid an edit war. TornadoLGS (talk) 02:32, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
One last thing is that with a page about the actor, their would be a section about their birthday and stuff like that. The Big Bang is the birth/beginning of the universe, which is the deity beleaved in pantheism, so that is why it is added. I have though not added back any of the off topic stuff. RileyXeon (talk) 02:39, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Since the article is about a religious or quasi-religious belief, however discussion of the structure and origin of the universe is not that relevant unless it specifically pertains to pantheism (for instance what effect the advent of the Big Bang Theory had on pantheism). The article also discusses the presence of pantheism in various religions, which have their own creation myths (or something equivalent). Those religions would fit pantheism into that context rather than one of modern astronomy, which they may predate by hundreds or thousands of years. Well, what I'm saying is that the modern understanding of astronomy is not essential to pantheism and is at best tangentially related.
(Also, I apologize if I was blunt in my first comment about copied content; you hadn't responded to previous messages, so I just went with a tl;dr version of it.) TornadoLGS (talk) 03:00, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand now. Thank you for your awareness :) RileyXeon (talk) 03:09, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Extraterrestrial Alien.webp

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Extraterrestrial Alien.webp. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:39, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Extraterrestrism for deletion

[edit]
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Extraterrestrism is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Extraterrestrism until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Flopsy Mopsy and Cottonmouth (talk) 00:16, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gokuism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.christianforums.com/threads/dragon-ball-mythology-what-exactly-is-the-worldview-based-on.7965211/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Gokuism moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Gokuism, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your page to draft space (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on it with minimal disruption. Please stop adding original research to articles

[edit]

I explained this in detail above; you need to stop adding original research to articles. You must cite references that are neutral and reliable. You said you understood the problem. But you continue to add original research into articles. Please, please stop. You can and will be blocked from editing Wikipedia if you continue. --Flopsy Mopsy and Cottonmouth (talk) 07:18, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I understood the OR part, so in my last couple of edits I just added the image with credits, and that's it. No OR was recently added. RileyXeon (talk) 07:21, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Adding an image with credits ISN'T original research, so you removing them from the most resent edits makes zero sense RileyXeon (talk) 07:23, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So I would kindly ask you to not remove images I've added which don't use OR RileyXeon (talk) 07:24, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you see this I would also kindly ask to add make the images I've added RileyXeon (talk) 07:27, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Captions can be OR. The use of images in an article can be OR if what you say about the images, or the context in which you use the images, isn't from some reliable source. So it looks to me like you haven't yet understood WP:OR. --Flopsy Mopsy and Cottonmouth (talk) 07:30, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The images added are all related to the topic of the articles their in, with captions crediting the artist. I see no problem with adding images to a page related to the image, with the image's caption being credits. RileyXeon (talk) 07:35, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The images added are all related to the topic of the articles their in RileyXeon (talk) 07:32, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

By saying that, you've told me that you don't understand what original research is. You say that the images are related to the topic of the articles. But you don't get to make that decision on your own or from your imagined personal knowledge. (Especially since I've seen you make wild statements that are actually contradicted by the sources you use.) You need to have someone else say it, and that person must be is neutral, reliable, and a good source. --Flopsy Mopsy and Cottonmouth (talk) 07:37, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but you're saying me adding an image to an article and saying it's related isn't reliable. I literally added an image of Lucifer to Lucifer. I sorry for adding OR texts, i truly am, but recently all i've done is add a RELATED image to a RELATE page. RileyXeon (talk) 07:46, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You added an image called "Fallen Angel" to Lucifer and labeled it as something like Lucifer, in the Christian view, being sympathetic. And then you pared back just the "sympathetic" part of the caption when I objected to your original research, and you reinserted the image. Again, the picture is called "Fallen Angel." Not "Lucifer." Nowhere does it say that it's in the Christian view. You have an unfortunate habit of injecting what you "know is correct" into Wikipedia, and what you know to be correct isn't what Wikipedia is about - and often what you have known to be correct was in fact wrong. And in any case, that article has far too many images anyway (and adding the same image to three articles is a terrible idea, too). (see MOS:IMAGES) I am done with this discussion, since you haven't figured out WP:OR yet, and you haven't shown yourself to be willing to work to make your edits better. --Flopsy Mopsy and Cottonmouth (talk) 07:53, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry but the "Fallen Angel" is 100% a painting of Lucifer. If you have a problem with an OR caption, then remove the caption. Look anywhere online and it will say that the painting IS of Lucifer. I'm sorry for the OR caption, but the image itself has no problem in the article. Without drama may I kindly add the image back to Lucifer without an OR caption? RileyXeon (talk) 07:57, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I do not understand why you won't understand that the painting IS Lucifer. Please, please listen to me. RileyXeon (talk) 08:04, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did listen to you. Then I told you to find reliable sources. Which you refuse to do. If you continue to refuse to find reliable sources (not blogs, not junk, not what you think is correct, but reliable, neutral, valuable sources) then you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia by someone with less patience than I have. WP:IDIDNTHEARTHAT, which is what you have been doing during this entire discussion, is a reason why people get blocked from Wikipedia every day. --Flopsy Mopsy and Cottonmouth (talk) 08:08, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for creating this, but as it is now, it needs more sourcing and definitely not those YouTube source. From this I can see that there are some sources to add. For the meantime, I'll be moving it to draft where you can work on it. When you're done, ping me and I'll review it.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Idoghor Melody}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

3.14 (Poppy song) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 3.14 (Poppy song), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Hey Riley! I appreciate the images you are adding to this article, but it is getting a bit overloaded! It is WP policy [1] to Avoid placing images on the left hand side ... Avoid sandwiching text between two images This article now has so many images, it has caused violation of these 2 guidelines. It would be good if you would consider moving images accordingly. Images should reflect the content they are next to as well, so if they can't be moved, they should just be removed. Thank you so much! Jenhawk777 (talk) 17:42, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Guitarist Jennifer Batten.jpg

Orphaned non-free image File:Guitarist Jennifer Batten.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Guitarist Jennifer Batten.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:09, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Richard Ramirez (centre) with his attorneys, 1990.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.

Replaceable fair use File:Poppy performing "Eat" at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Poppy performing "Eat" at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards.png.

Thank you. Whpq (talk) 23:42, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi RileyXeon! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Cross of Saint Peter that may not have been. Hello, RileyXeon. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "71)".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ancient Egyptian winged sun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://12160.info/profiles/blogs/illuminati-sun-symbolism-auto-logos-winged-solar-disk-part-3-3.

Edit warring over image at Aphrodite

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Aphrodite. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. This article has Good article status. I have restored the image used in the infobox, prior to your disruptive edit-warring over the most suitable image to use there. If you've a better case to argue, please do so on the article talk page. Haploidavey (talk) 11:23, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I believe this wasn't an edit war, but an miss understanding. I forgot to add a reason for why I thought a specific image was more suitable to use for the main, and after I have my reason, the user who previously changed it understood and excepted my edit. RileyXeon (talk) 12:16, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So if I could may I change it back to the image I edited as the main, sorry if that sounds rude I am in no means to be sound that way RileyXeon (talk) 12:18, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Vector images of ancient Egyptian deities

[edit]

I've userfied (WP:UFY) User:RileyXeon/Vector images of ancient Egyptian deities, as having the article in the mainspace is not WP:NOTABLE, or WP:ENCYCLOPEDIC. However, rather than tagging it for WP:CSD, I've put it in your userspace, as you may want it.

I've had to tag the resulting redirect from the move with WP:R2, as it's now a forbidden cross-namespace redirect (WP:CNR). Please WP:PING me (@) if you reply.  – CityUrbanism 🗩 🖉 10:43, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@CityUrbanism Thank you for notifying me. How would I be able to fix the article so it is appropriate to become a public page rathe than a WP:CSD RileyXeon (talk) 10:49, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Only the redirect has been tagged with WP:CSD, and that will be deleted as it's forbidden. The page still exists, in your userspace, as User:RileyXeon/Vector images of ancient Egyptian deities.
If you want to create a mainspace article on the subject, I don't think it's WP:NOTABLE. However, I'm not an expert on Wikipedia articles about Wikipedia things, so I'd recommend putting the tag {{help me}} on the talk page of User:RileyXeon/Vector images of ancient Egyptian deities, and explaining what you want to do.  – CityUrbanism 🗩 🖉 10:54, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thank you very much. RileyXeon (talk) 10:57, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like you added WP:NOWIKI tags to Template:Help me. I've fixed it for you.  – CityUrbanism 🗩 🖉 11:02, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again. RileyXeon (talk) 11:04, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable non-free use File:Kyokushin Karate Yoko Do Mawashi Kaiten Geri.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kyokushin Karate Yoko Do Mawashi Kaiten Geri.gif. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.

Thank you. plicit 06:57, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yoko Do Mawashi Kaiten Geri moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Yoko Do Mawashi Kaiten Geri, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:10, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Sanchez Jaime at the 2020 Summer Olympics.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

-- Marchjuly (talk) 07:54, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Sakura Sawashima has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Meets neither WP:GNG nor WP:NSPORT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
