Speedy deletion nomination of Azerbaijan News TV
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Azerbaijan News TV, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Azerbaijan News TV
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Azerbaijan News TV, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Sabunçu
[edit]Hi. You recently created the article Ashurbeyov House. In the History section, there is a link to Sabunçu, which is a disambiguation page because there are multiple places in Azerbaijan that have this name. Could you please fix the link so that it links to the correct Sabunçu? Thanks! Lennart97 (talk) 13:24, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Rəcəb Həsənbəyov! Your additions to Gani Mammadov Residence have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:32, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]An article you recently created, Hidayat Charitable Society, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Annwfwn(talk) Could you make changes there? In fact, Ms. Shukria received the information not 15 years later, but 18 years later. The site administration made a mistake when writing the title. Because they themselves mentioned 1937 and 1955. But they made a mistake in their calculations. From 1955 to 1937, 18 years passed. I found confirmation of 1955 in another book. --Rəcəb Yaxşı (talk) 07:41, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Rəcəb Yaxşı! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at 1930 Salmas earthquake that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 00:15, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Turshsu, Nagorno-Karabakh. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.

- There is no region called "Nagorno-Karabakh" in Azerbaijan. Therefore, do not write "Nagorno-Karabakh" before the village name. It is enough to write "Shusha" to distinguish it from other villages. This village was occupied by a separatist organization. It was liberated in 2020. I added about the construction work carried out in the village. If possible, please restore my edits and correct the name of the village. Thank you! Rəcəb Yaxşı (talk) 08:02, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

- You removed the Armenian name of the village, and any material related to Armenians and to the Republic of Artsakh. That Nagorno-Karabakh "doesn't exist" is the official Azerbaijani government stance - not a balanced point of departure and approach for a Wikipedia editor in a contentious area such as for the Nagorno-Karabakh region which has seen conflict for decades. Seek the input of other editors on article talk pages before making radical changes to article content. AntonSamuel (talk) 07:12, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- First of all, I would like to note that the name of the village is Russian. "Lisagor" means "bald mountain". In other words, writing the village in Armenian made no sense. The name of the village is best written in Russian. But this also makes no sense, since there has been no Russian population in the village for several decades.
- The topic of "Nagorno-Karabakh" remains. You note that the non-recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh is the official position of the government of Azerbaijan. Show me an international organization that recognizes Nagorno-Karabakh as an official state. These territories were occupied and this fact was confirmed by the UN. Non-attributed translations
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from az:Həmid_bəy_Yusifbəyli to Hamid Bey Yusifbeyli. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 13:59, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
