AfD nomination of Jean Machi

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Jean Machi. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jean Machi. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:07, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Niagara Power, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Niagara Power. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Penale52! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 13 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Al Yates - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Ryan Long - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A tag has been placed on Justin Berg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:52, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Art Twineham, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.baseballprospectus.com/dt/twinear01.shtml.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. The article Howard Hilton has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Trey Hearne, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks!

Again, and with respects, I have removed the deletion prod from the article, as it is ineligible for proposed deletion as it had previously been discussed at an AFD. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Trey Hearne and then Wikipedia:Proposed deletion#Nominating. You are welcome to renominate for AFD, but please do not replace the deletion prod. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 09:21, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

Redirected minor league baseball articles

I noticed you redirected Jeff Lyman to St. Louis Cardinals minor league players, but the previous content from Lyman's article was not merged into the St Louis article. I went ahead and merged the old content (and changed the redirect to point Lyman's new section) so that none of the previous information is lost.

However, I also noticed you similarly redirected the articles for Hunter Strickland, Calvin Anderson (baseball), Roque Mercedes, and Michael Brenly to their respective club article, and also did not merge any of the content of those articles. I have reverted these changes. While I have no opinion whether they are notable enough to justify their own standalone, you should merge the content of the article into your proposed target article and update the redirect to point to the player's section (similar to my changes for Lyman) if you believe a redirect is warranted. Otherwise, you should create an AfD for the articles if you believe the content should remain deleted. —Bagumba (talk) 02:34, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Casey Deskins

I have removed the prod tag you placed on Casey Deskins, as per policy an article that has been discussed at AfD cannot be deleted under the prod process. I only did this to comply with policy; do not interpret it as an endorsement for keeping this article. If you wish to pursue deletion, please open another AfD, making sure to read WP:BEFORE and the arguments in the previous AfD before doing so. —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:20, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for patrolling new pages. I noticed you patrolled Vladan Adžić as OK.
