Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sengkang Public Library 2017.jpeg
A tag has been placed on File:Sengkang Public Library 2017.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 10:17, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
Unnecessary links
Dear nigo0909, please stop adding links such as 'water' or 'road'. I strongly believe that the average reader here would know what most of the stuff that you are linking is, and won't click on it. Also, these links are redundant and of little use to readers. Please stop this but if you would like to continue what you are doing, please do it on the Simple English Wikipedia. Speedy deletion nomination of Lorong Halus Wetland
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Lorong Halus Wetland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Asian Highway 45 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Please also be aware that, since a previous request for move discussion came up as "no consensus," you are essentially required to follow the processes set forth at WP:RM if you would like the article moved. Thank you. SkyWarrior 00:53, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
ArbCom 2017 election voter message
Hello, Nigo0909. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Old prod full tagging
Please don't put the {{old prod full}} tag on the talk page of articles that you have prodded. That's only used if the prod is rejected; with an active prod, all it does is confuse administrators who see it and then try to see when the old prod (making the article ineligible for prodding now) was. Thanks. - The Bushranger One ping only 12:01, 7 December 2017 (UTC)

Image without license
Unspecified source/license for File:Serangoon Public Library.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Serangoon Public Library.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Pending changes
Hi Anchorvale! Please note that I've reverted your accepted pending changes at October 18. Edits that add unsourced personal information into articles, should never be accepted. I looked for a source for this date of birth in the Andrew Lancaster article and nowhere mentions anything about his DOB. In this particular case it was this exact edit that pending changes was enabled on the article to prevent. (Do you think he was really born in 2001?) Thank you! Ivecos (t) 08:59, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

India national cricket team
Hello, there is already a citation (ESPNcrickinfo) in the page. Check it and you'll find that India has played 521 tests. Moreover, 144+160+216+1=521. Full name of Wanderers Stadium is Bidvest Wanderers Stadium. So I think I've provided correct information. You shouldn't have reverted it without checking the information properly. MD SOUVIK ISLAM (talk) 09:01, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see the citation you're talking about. Anchorvale T@lk
- Actually it is a reference and it's no. is 2 (Test Team records _ESPN cricinfo). Check it. MD SOUVIK ISLAM (talk) 09:10, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
Sources needed for Days of the Year pages
I see you recently accepted this pending change to January 29.
You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages are no longer exempt from WP:V and direct sources are required for additions. For details see the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide. I've gone ahead and un-accepted this edit and backed it out.
Please do not accept additions to day of year pages where no direct source has been provided on that page. The burden to provide sources for additions to these pages is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 14:54, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- And about this: The sources go in the article, not on your talk page. Toddst1 (talk) 00:06, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- OK, thanks! Anchorvale T@lk 08:29, 30 January 2018 (UTC)

Psychotropia
Hi. You reverted my edit on Psychotropia because you thought it ignored Wikipedia's policy on a neutral point of view. But the edit in question did not discuss anything related to an opinion, and instead was a quote from the album's performer Nick Nicely saying that, despite the disparate recording dates of the songs on the album, he stills considers the record to "all one album," as opposed to a compilation etc. Not sure why you reverted this. Thanks.--TangoTizerWolfstone (talk) 07:42, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- My apologies, you also removed the parts that say, with a source, that the album was well received (as this is sourced, referring to the album's reception from music critics, it should not fall under the neutrality rule), and from one of Nicely's collaborators liking the album. ----TangoTizerWolfstone (talk) 07:44, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- As I am currently building the page, I shall undo your revert edit but clarify "The album was well received" as I believe the ambiguity there was the problem. If not let me know.--TangoTizerWolfstone (talk) 07:47, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
February 2018
Hello, I'm Toddst1. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to User_talk:2604:2000:E016:A700:310B:778E:52C5:6ED3. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. This warning [1] is utter nonsense. Toddst1 (talk) 07:51, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- And this warning is also completely inappropriate. You need to stop WP:BITEing IPs right now. Toddst1 (talk) 07:53, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
Bullying and 4-im warnings
Look: You're issuing a lot of bad warnings to anonymous editors. 4-im warnings are reserved for extreme cases of abuse and you've issued quite a few recently that were entirely without merit.
You really need to back off this activity - it's clearly well in to bullying at this point and if it continues, you will likely be blocked.
I think you should focus on building an encyclopedia, rather than commenting on/reviewing others' editing. Toddst1 (talk) 07:59, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

Hello there. My name is Mr. Brain. I'd like to thank you for the note you left me about Gary Kubiak. I should've explained what I was trying to do. I was starting a new category called "Super Bowl-winning head coaches." Gary Kubiak was the head coach of the Denver Broncos when they won Super Bowl 50. I had wanted the "DEFAULTSORT" option to reflect his last name come first in the category. Plus, some editing work was, for one reason or another, being done on his Wikipedia page, so it threw me for a loop. But I did see everything got straightened out. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'll happy to be of service. Thanks again for the note. Mr. Brain (talk) 16:25, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

India national cricket team
Please clarify why you reverted my demand of a Citation for this text
India later played a match against South Africa in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Indian team was booed by the Bengali crowd who supported South Africa instead of India in response to Ganguly's dropping
I didn't find any source here which supports this text. This link :-[2] supports the previous line but not anything like 'Indian team was booed by the Bengali crowd who supported South Africa'
Secondly. I removed Bengali from the text since Bengali represents a specific linguistic group while the state of West Bengal is multi-linguistic and a crowd in West Bengal, especially in Eden Gardens, Kolkata will definitely have people from all backgrounds. I found it is better to mention them as just 'crowd' unless supported by source. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:40, 17 February 2018 (UTC)

Can you help me please with La Luna Sangre
Hi, I’m Pipamidalton and I’ve been editing in WP since September last year but thoroughly enjoy the experience. I’ve focused mainly on Philippine tv series because I noticed many edits were written in good faith but with a poor command of English,. In the beginning, most inputs were awkwardly phrased and convoluted, and details were excessive. It’s been hard work fixing but with a couple of more experienced editors who came in to clean it up, we finally got it going well and I’ve tried my best to maintain it, summarize as concise as possible. I’ve been monitoring the articles in my watchlist to update details, etc. to make sure it stays that way (you should have seen how it was before!) but now that this particular tv series La Luna Sangre is wrapping up in 7 days (it had 185 episodes in all), 216.172.253.184 blanked several sections without leaving any explanations. I’ve tried to use User_Talk:216.172.253.184 but can’t get a connection. I may not be doing it right, so I’ve manually reverted the edits and restored to previous version. How can I talk to this user. I’m watching this article closely because it’s heading it’s finale and worry about vandals. Please help or warn the user please. ThanksPipamidalton (talk) 23:57, 21 February 2018 (UTC) Pipamidalton (talk) 23:57, 21 February 2018 (UTC)

Thank you so very much, what a relief the vandal was warned. and it’s finally page protected too till March 1. That will really help prevent malicious edits by those who aren’t so happy with the series ending soon and vent their frustration on the article. A big valentine rose for you. I don’t know how to use those userboxes and barnstars but thank you again <3 <3 hearts for you. Pipamidalton (talk) 16:21, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Since the last newsletter, the Editing Team has spent most of their time supporting the 2017 wikitext editor mode, which is available inside the visual editor as a Beta Feature, and improving the visual diff tool. Their work board is available in Phabricator. You can find links to the work finished each week at mw:VisualEditor/Weekly triage meetings. Their current priorities are fixing bugs, supporting the 2017 wikitext editor, and improving the visual diff tool.
Recent changes
- The 2017 wikitext editor is available as a Beta Feature on desktop devices. It has the same toolbar as the visual editor and can use the citoid service and other modern tools. The team have been comparing the performance of different editing environments. They have studied how long it takes to open the page and start typing. The study uses data for more than one million edits during December and January. Some changes have been made to improve the speed of the 2017 wikitext editor and the visual editor. Recently, the 2017 wikitext editor opened fastest for most edits, and the 2010 WikiEditor was fastest for some edits. More information will be posted at mw:Contributors/Projects/Editing performance.
- The visual diff tool was developed for the visual editor. It is now available to all users of the visual editor and the 2017 wikitext editor. When you review your changes, you can toggle between wikitext and visual diffs. You can also enable the new Beta Feature for "Visual diffs". The Beta Feature lets you use the visual diff tool to view other people's edits on page histories and Special:RecentChanges. [3]
- Wikitext syntax highlighting is available as a Beta Feature for both the 2017 wikitext editor and the 2010 wikitext editor. [4]
- The citoid service automatically translates URLs, DOIs, ISBNs, and PubMed id numbers into wikitext citation templates. This tool has been used at the English Wikipedia for a long time. It is very popular and useful to editors, although it can be tricky for admins to set up. Other wikis can have this service, too. Please read the instructions. You can ask the team to help you enable citoid at your wiki.
Let's work together
- The team is planning a presentation about editing tools for an upcoming Wikimedia Foundation metrics and activities meeting.
- Wikibooks, Wikiversity, and other communities may have the visual editor made available by default to contributors. If your community wants this, then please contact Dan Garry.
- The
<references />
block can automatically display long lists of references in columns on wide screens. This makes footnotes easier to read. This has already been enabled at the English Wikipedia. If you want columns for a long list of footnotes on this wiki, you can use either<references />
or the plain (no parameters){{reflist}}
template. If you edit a different wiki, you can request multi-column support for your wiki. [5] - If you aren't reading this in your preferred language, then please help us with translations! Subscribe to the Translators mailing list or contact us directly. We will notify you when the next issue is ready for translation. Thank you!

WP:UAA reports on users with no edits
Generally, there is no reason to report usernames with no edits whatsoever. Per WP:UAAI: "Wait until the user edits. Do not report a user that hasn't edited unless they are clearly a vandal. We do not want to welcome productive editors with a report at UAA, nor do we want to waste our time dealing with accounts that may never be used." The exceptions are obvious hate speech or names that attack a living person/Wikipedia editor, those are blockable even without any edits, but other run-of-the-mill violations need not be reported unless and until they at least attempt to edit, and you should be able to clearly explain what the problem is if it is not immediately evident.
For whatever reason, every day dozens, if not hundreds of accounts are created that never make one single edit. It is our responsibility as admins to conscientiously review every report a user makes at UAA, so we have to check for contribs, deleted contribs, and tripping of the edit filter for every one of these reports, only to find out there's nothing there and therefore no problem to be solved. So we add the {{wait}} tag to the report, it goes to WP:UAA/HP for a week or more, and must then be reviewed again to see if the account has since become active before removing it. That's time that could be spent doing more productive things, but you basically obligate admins to do it by making such reports. I notice that you tagged the page Windows Microsoft for speedy deletion with the reason "No one calls Microsoft Windows as Windows Microsoft". While that's a valid reason for speedy deletion in general, this page does not qualify for speedy deletion under that criterion because It does not appear to be obviously implausible to me. If you still want the page to be deleted, please consider tagging it with a speedy deletion template which does apply, redirecting it to another page, proposing the page for deletion if it appears to be an uncontroversial matter, or taking the page to WP:RFD for discussion on the merits. Thanks! . Iffy★Chat -- 09:21, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

{{Clickable button 3}} verse CSS
To me {{Clickable button 3}}
does not look useful as using CSS allows {{Clickable button 2}}
to do the same: {{Clickable button 2|Wikipedia|This is an example|style=color:white; background-color:blue;}}
. Can I nominate this for deletion? — Dispenser 12:28, 10 March 2018 (UTC)
@Dispenser: Yes, you may. Anchorvale T@lk | Contributions 12:40, 10 March 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Anchorvale/sandbox
A tag has been placed on User:Anchorvale/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
duplicate of another draft
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your talk page archive
Honestly I think that it is better for you to split your talk page into archives as it is very big (70 000 bytes++) this causes slower browsers to lag when opening your talk page. Thanks. 1.02 editor (C651 set 217/218) 07:27, 13 March 2018 (UTC)
