Women in Red
[edit]Hi there, Marleeashton. and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you are interested in improving our coverage of Californian politicians and activists. I see you have recently been improving existing biographies of some of the women politicians. As you already have considerable experience as an editor, it would be good if you could assist us in chipping away at the gender gap by creating new articles about women. If so, you might find it useful to look as some of our Essays, perhaps starting with our Primer for creating women's biographies. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 10:10, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

- @ReppopThanks for letting me know. I'm going to take a look at the discussion and recent edits. I was hoping after the interaction I had with them it would stop or at least become constructive. Marleeashton (talk) 07:16, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- Well, now that the discussion is archived without anything changing, I'm actually tired of this person doing this. I'm pretty sure they keep and eye on these articles and revert anything we do, and even after talking they still don't change. It's the main reason why I gave up midway through trying to catch up on all their reverts. reppoptalk 05:47, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

Knock it off!
[edit]Hey, User Marleeashton - knock it off! Don't just go around utterly unjustifiably reverting a new editor's first (and completely valid, and properly explained) edit. You want to run new talent off the encyclopedia (that it desperately needs)? There's no better way.
I don't mean to be contentious here, but if I see this pattern displayed again I will immediately report you to the administrative board in charge of new changes reviewers. You must act more responsibly than this. 2601:196:181:BE00:8518:ECB4:790F:31D2 (talk) 09:37, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- You're editing image descriptions - not the article text. If you want to add more detail to the article text feel free to do so (it's not that big of a deal which is why I sent you a constructive editing note, not a vandalism note.) Also if you're a new user it's interesting that you're so familiar with the new change reviewers process? Anyway, have a great day! Marleeashton (talk) 09:45, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- What does editing image descriptions rather than article text have to do with it? Nothing! My edit summary specifically referenced captions. And there is nothing unconstructive about the edit, or the edit summary. Your defensiveness is not helping here: you were wrong to just summarily revert the edit. You need to admit that before doing it to the next new victim. And my familiarity with Wikipedia processes has absolutely nothing to do with any of this: it's about the edit and your behavior - both your trigger-happiness in reverting a valid edit, then trying to defend it.
- Obviously my concern here is people like you trying to be helpful but having the net effect of driving away potential editors - who start with their first, and sometimes go on to rack up millions if they like staying around. You've been here since 2014. How long would you have stayed if you had been treated the way you treated this editor on their very first edit?
- Think about that the next time you are impelled to revert an edit without thinking the process through. 2601:196:181:BE00:8518:ECB4:790F:31D2 (talk) 10:26, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

Deprodding of Upcountry
[edit]I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from Upcountry, which you proposed for deletion. I believe this is a malformed DAB and I will fix based on MOS:DAB; having said that, it was in a pretty weird form so I definitely get the PROD nom. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}}
back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Cheers! TartarTorte 15:10, 26 November 2022 (UTC)

2022 San Bernardino mayoral election moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, 2022 San Bernardino mayoral election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 10:47, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
