This Fortnight in Wrestling History

October 27, 1991 - Brian Pillman defeated Richard Morton in a tournament final to become the inaugural WCW World Light Heavyweight Champion.
October 31, 2000 - Ivory defeated Lita to win the WWF Women's title.
November 2, 1998 - Mankind was awarded the newly established WWF Hardcore Championship by WWF Chairman Vince McMahon.
November 5, 2001 - The Rock defeated Chris Jericho for the WCW World Heavyweight title.
November 6, 2003 - Mike Lockwood, known professionally as Crash Holly, committed suicide at the age of 32.
November 7, 2000 - The World Wrestling Federation (WWF) agreed to pay US$18 million to the Hart family as a settlement in the court case for Owen Hart's death at Over the Edge (1999).
November 9, 1997 - The Montreal Screwjob occurred, in which Shawn Michaels defeated Bret Hart to win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

Recent Wrestling News

Conrad Efraim, better known as "Special Delivery Jones", died in Antigua on October 26, 2008, following a stroke he suffered two days prior.
At Cyber Sunday, Batista defeated Chris Jericho to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
On the October 27 episode of Raw CM Punk and Kofi Kingston won the World Tag Team titles by defeating Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes.
DH Smith and TJ Wilson won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship on October 30.
On the November 3 episode of Raw:
- Mike Adamle resigned from his position as General Manager of the Raw brand.
- Chris Jericho defeated Batista in a Steel cage match to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time.
Super Crazy was released from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on November 5.
On November 7, WWE released Raw wrestlers Paul London and Chuck Palumbo.

Collaboration

The Collaboration has recently been revamped, and we will now have 6 collaborations at a time. The current collaborations will stand until they reach a certain goal, e.g. Good article status.

On November 9, THQ and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) released the fifth installment in the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw series, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009.
On November 10, WWE released Elijah Burke, Kenny Dykstra, and Lena Yada from their contracts.
William Regal defeated Santino Marella to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the November 10 episode of Raw.
On November 18, WWE released Armando Estrada from his contract.
