- Just to be clean, it'd be best to add DOB to infobox. Also indicate in the infobox dates of activity, i.e. 1989 - 2003
- Clean up lead a little for clarify, such as 'and was known as Crash Holly'. Also the lead is being used to give possibly too much of a narrative. Ensure you've reviewed lead guidelines.
Overall it's well cited and seems to be complete with relevant information. Tighten up the lead a little and insure that all the refs cited still work and that they help to convey what the article attributes to them. Also refs needed checked for original research.
I'll wait a week to see if there's additional comments and whether the few minor issues are resolved. Also I'd like verification of the refs (for verifiability, see WP:V). Nja247 (talk • contribs) 21:10, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Note - according to this, all of the references are still working. GaryColemanFan (talk) 21:20, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Thanks for reviewing, I'll start going through your comments now. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 21:33, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- The date of birth is in the infobox.
- So it is. Nevermind :) Nja247 (talk • contribs) 21:44, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- There is no "activity" parameter for the infobox. I could add in a "retirement" parameter, if you desire. I haven't before, because I've always felt there was a difference between dying and retiring.
- It was a suggestion just to keep it clean as the lead looked a bit messy to me. It's not something I'd say makes the article fail GA regardless. And I agree, death is not exactly retirement :/ Nja247 (talk • contribs) 21:44, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I took out some of the narrative from the lead. How is it now, or is there something specific you'd like me to change?
- I will re-check the article soon. I want to see if there's any other comments first. But it's looking good. I will certainly get back to you if there's anything holding it up from being passed well in advance before closing. Cheers. Nja247 (talk • contribs) 21:44, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- All links check out with the checklinks tool. [1]
- I'm not sure what you mean by refs need checking for OR. Could you expand a little?
- I wanted to make sure they are reliable sources, verifiable, and that what the article was attributing to the ref was actually what was said in the ref. I'm not saying that is an issue, just that I will check on my final review so be sure they're in order. Hope this all is helpful. Nja247 (talk • contribs) 21:44, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Ah, ok. I'll get to it. Thank you for the prompt response. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 21:46, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I believe the references are fine. There could be one/two I've missed, but to me it seems ok. All the references are considered reliable, except Online World of Wrestling, which can be used to source non-controversial things like match results and height/weight stats (which is what it's used for). It's used in numerous other GAs. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 22:23, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Normally I'd wait a few days to see if anyone has any comments, but seeing that the issues have been quickly covered by the article's main contributor, I see no reason not to pass it as GA. Congrats! Nja247 (talk • contribs) 19:52, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
