Hi HeinMaster, Greetings. Since you have edited a number of pages of MMA related articles in Wikipedia, pls see the below info so you may understand how things work here.

  1. Pls visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts and read through the MMA Wikipedia guidelines.
  2. When a bout is announced which stating "finalizing, in work, rumors, verbally agreed,  in the press, this means the bout is not official yet. Wait until it official before place it under the "Announced bouts" section of the event page.
  3. When a bout is announced in the press, editors put the match up in the  "Announced bouts" section (inline citation is needed)
  4. When UFC.com / its local web site (pls check the reference beneath the fight card table in the Wikipedia page), the editors would remove the bout in the "Announced bouts" and place it in the "fight card" section.
  5. When a fighter pulls from a fight (due to injury/or by UFC/ visa issues and etc), we placed the info in the "Background section" (inline citation needed) and remove the injured fighter name and put "TBD".
  6. When a injured fighter has been replaced, editor put the info in the background section (with inline citation). If the new match up has not been shown in the UFC.com fight card, then we will removed the match up from the fight card and place it back to "Announced section". If the match up already shown in the UFC.com then jut put the replacement fighter in the fight card section.
  7. When the event named has been announced (such as UFC Fight Night: dos Santos vs. Tuivasa) then we place the info in the background section (with inline citation). If UFC.com has shown the event names (Fight Night events or UFC on ESPN) such as UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Medeiros or UFC on ESPN: Reyes vs. Weidman, then editor would move the article and article talk page name accordingly accept the flagship event such as UFC 187, UFC 242 and etc.
  8. No colour box in the fighter's page infobox at event fight card page. No title eliminator in the fight card or body text in fighter page or event page. No (c) - champion on the event fight card unless the fighter is the current champion of the weight division.
  9. "method" in the fight table is as per Sherdog.com as per WP:MMA guideline and please do not interpret the method yourself even if the method is incorrect as Wikipedia is all about WP:verification and not the true.
  10. Info box as per Sherdog. No other nick names or else we would have many nicknames pop up every time there is a internet meme.
  11. Reach as per UFC.com as Sherdog dont have the info. Pls provide inline citation.
  12. Stand - need to provide inline citation. IF you can find source to support it, leave it blank
  13. Style - "The style parameter should only be used in MMA fighters that have participated professionally or in international competitions in other combat sports (i.e. boxing or kickboxing) and who are notable in said sports and deserve an article for their merits in these other sports (i.e. Antônio Rogério Nogueira, Alistair Overeem). It is suggested to MMA editors that they actively remove the style parameter in infoboxes of MMA fighters that do not meet these criteria." Leave style for modern mma fighter as they have to train several combat disciplines.
  14. No Flag icon on info box or fight table.
  15. Info could be obtain from Sherdog on Info box - need to support by sources such as teachers, belts, notable relatives, university, occupation outside fighting career and etc.
  16. Pls read referencing to understand about referencing and how to provide inline citation.
  17. Leave a brief edit summary before saving you edit, so other editors know the nature of your edit for Wikipedia is the collaboration work from many editors.
  18. To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Ping|Cassiopeia}}. Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~).

Le me know if you need any assistance for I am here to help. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 01:58, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

MMA fighter fight record table

Hi HeinzMaster, Please note the guidelines of mma fighter fight record should be adhere to WP:MMA (pls read the whole page since you have created MMA pages.) - Example here -1. Thank you for your contribution. Cassiopeia(talk) 09:46, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

Movsar Evloev moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Movsar Evloev, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi HeinzMastr, we have been throught this and I have informed you a number of time, MMA fighter needs at least 3 fights under tier one promotion to meets WP:MMABIO, pls do not place article in mains pace until the subject secure 3 fights under UFC. Pls dont this this again as this is very not helpful. If you want to create MMA fighter, go an create Terrion Ware as he has met the notability requirements. Thank you. Cassiopeia(talk) 04:29, 21 July 2020 (UTC)

@Cassiopeia: I did not submit the page, no idea who did but it wasn't me for sure, I had another draftpage for him and someone made a separate one and merged it into mine. From the looks of the history, Odessa1994 made the page in the mainspace and then it got merged into mine. I know the 3 fight rule hence I don't submit them until the day of the fights. From this page, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft%3AMovsar_Evloev&type=revision&diff=968553899&oldid=967854336 it seems while editing the page, Odessa deleted AFC submission at the top of the page. HeinzMaster (talk) 13:51, 21 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi Heinz Master, Thank you for informing. The editor Movsar Evloev was deleted - see here - the very bottom of the talk page. My apologizes for not checking the hist log page. Cheers. Cassiopeia(talk) 07:53, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

MMA fighter table record - again

Hi HeinzMaster, as mentioned to you before pls correct all the mma figher record as per WP:MMA guidlines. (you need to read them all since you are involving in creating many mma fighers' pages) - for examples see below

  1. |align=center|10–2 (long dash) instead of |align=center|10-2 (short dash)
  2. HeinzMaster/Archive 1 at UFC instead of * HeinzMaster/Archive 1 at UFC
  3. Use Sherdog as source instead of Tapology and make sure the source at the bottom of the fight record reflect the same plus pls use Template:Cite Web horizontal format when using web as source.
  4. Use fighter name as per Sherdog. Full name or native named need to supported by sources.

Pls do the needful and thank you for your contribution. Cassiopeia(talk) 23:03, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

HeinzMaster, Relax. Right now the page Adam Wieczorek redirects to List of current UFC fighters. Because of Wikipedia coding bureaucracy, I have to have that redirect page deleted before I can move yours from the draft space (where it's currently located) to the main space (where we want it to be). If I tried to do it now, the computer system would say "Oh, we already have a page by that name, you can't move it." You did everything right and you are following WP:NMMA. With that comment I was trying to let you know that you did good, just be patient for a second while we take care of stuff on our end. Once that's done, it'll be in Mainspace. Bkissin (talk) 18:52, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

MMA events and fighter pages

Hi HeinzMaster, Greetings. Since you have created and edited many pages of MMA related articles in Wikipedia, pls see the below for some guidelines/background editing info below and if some of them are known to you, kindly ignored them.

Weidman, then editor would move the article and article talk page name accordingly and not before, except the flagship event such as UFC 187, UFC 242 and etc.
  16. Leave a brief edit summary before saving you edit, so other editors know the nature of your edit for Wikipedia is the collaboration work from many editors.
  17. For List of current UFC fighters see below
    1. pls read the "Notes/key", especially on note #14 on how the calculation number is formulated - see example here
    2. On recent signing section, the first ref is when the fighter is signed, and the second is the fight is scheduled.
    3. When a fighter is removed and replaced by another, we change all the related fighter's section/row on the "Result/Next Fight/Status' and the source sections. We also add the info on the fighter - see on fighter section and event page (Background and Announced bouts section) - see here for example Fighter page and Event Page.

Do join [WikiProject MMA] and place your name there. I thank you very much for your contribution. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 02:27, 18 September 2020 (UTC)

HeinzMaster, no worries, everyone here is a new editor or mma editors at some point and I am included. You have been doing a fantastic work here. We are here to support, educate and help each other as Wikipedia articles is the collaboration from many editors. I mentioned the above list to you so you may know next time. I can why you change the page name, usually we use UFC event page when the headliner. When changing the article page, we not only change the WP:LEAD section (intro section) and the infor box we also change the article name except for flagship event (example UFC 249, UFC 221, UFC 87 and etc). We change/"move" the article name by cliking the 'move" (under "Page" manu at the top). When the new page appear, state/change the new page name, and check "Move associate talk page" and "Leave a redirect behind". Let me know if anything else I could help. Stay safe and enjoy UFN 178 (UFC Fight Night 178) this weekend. Cassiopeia(talk) 04:30, 18 September 2020 (UTC)

Joaquin Buckley moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Joaquin Buckley, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. Request for your help in editing a wiki draft

Hi. I've noticed you're pretty good at creating MMA related content. I would like to ask if you mind helping on editing this page so it can get published? I'm not too familiar with getting all the right adjustment so it passes the review

I already put in the main content but it seems it still needs a bit more before it can be approved

A tag has been placed on Category:Congolese male mixed martial artists requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Justin Willis (fighter). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
