Please do not tag categories for speedy deletion unless they have been emptied. Otherwise, we have red link categories which must be avoided according to WP:REDNO.

Also, I've been meaning to ask you, would you like me to stop posting CSD notices for C1 empty categories? Most of the editors who create a lot of categories have opted out of receiving CSD C1 notifications because of the high number of categories they create. They are less invested in a single category than an editor who has created an article or draft. Just let me know and I can "uncheck" the notification box. Liz ^{Read! Well, it's usually one of two reasons a) because there was a solitary article in the category and the article was deleted or b) because an editor is rearranging categories or their contents. I post User talk page notices when an editor empties a category "out of process" but it can be hard to explain when some of our editors who are most active in the category namespace do this regularly themselves.
