I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, México, road to the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion.The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

Gerardo Díaz y su Gerarquía moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Gerardo Díaz y su Gerarquía, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Template:La Dinastía de Tuzantla

[edit]

Please note that a navbox template should include at least three articles in order to be useful, and Beto y sus Canarios are not a related act just because they play the same music... there needs to be some long-term collaboration in order to be included here. So unless you plan on creating articles for more albums by La Dinastía de Tuzantla, I will nominate this template for deletion. Thank you. Richard3120 (talk) 18:52, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship broadcasting rights requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.americanvacationliving.com/site/97f393-1/97f393-concacaf-schedule-2020. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Hi @GolazoGolazo1234: I have reverted this back to a redirect per a WP:NPP review. Don't add it back in. The thing isn't for on another 3 years. Totally unacceptable to have such an article. Wait a couple of years and unredirect it and have another go, but not now. Great article apart from being out of time. scope_creepTalk 23:10, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:1999 FIFA Confederations Cup group tables requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2021 June 26. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Meena, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, 2022–23 Club Universidad Nacional season, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meena}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Notice

The article 2023 Leagues Cup knockout stage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I see no reason for this article to exist as more than a section in 2023 Leagues Cup, and an equivalent article doesn't seem to have existed for previous Leagues Cups.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Popo Dameron talk 04:13, 10 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Big 12 Championship Game

[edit]

Hello! I undid a few edits on the Big 12 Championship page, as they were not accurate. (i.e. changing No.1 Seed to "Team 1"). I am not sure the practicality of the table needing to be sortable but open to that, but the cell color for the winning team was discussed and agreed upon on the talk page, and is consistent with the other power conference football championships. The text of the AP polling in the description could still be retained as an edit; I did not retain that portion in the revert. Moonraker0022 (talk) 20:24, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Liga MX final phase

[edit]

Hello GolazoGolazo1234,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Demt1298, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Liga MX final phase, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at Liga MX#Playoffs (liguilla). Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Demt1298}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
