User talk:Georgejdorner/User page: The brag wall
I began my stint in Wikipedia in August 2008.
I have been principal co-author on two Featured Articles and two Featured Lists. I also improved Werner Voss to the point it was rated A Class. Barnstars and similar awards are also intermixed. I consider these major honors.
I have been very fortunate in having Did You Know self-nominations run on the Main Page. I consider those Minor Honors.
Also, at bottom, you will find an ongoing listing of new articles I have created since 12 September 2008.
Major honors
[edit]- Roderic Dallas (Ian Rose edited, rewrote, and tweaked this article while pushing it through an exhaustive assessment.)
- Albert Ball, which I co-edited along with Ian Rose, Soundofmusicals, and Carcharoth.
- List of World War I aces credited with 5 victories
- List of World War I aces credited with 20 or more victories (aided by the editorial skills of Trevor MacInnis, who guided it through assessment.)
I also improved Werner Voss to the point it was rated A Class.
Minor honors

If you would like to see this (or any other FA you may have helped to write) appear as "Today's featured article" soon, please nominate it at the requests page; if you'd like to see an FA on a particular date in the next year or so, please add it to the "pending" list. In the absence of a request, the article may end up being picked at any time (although with 1,336 articles in Category:Featured articles that have not appeared on the main page at present, there's no telling how long – or short! – the wait might be). If you'd got any TFA-related questions or problems, please let me know. Thanks, BencherliteTalk 11:09, 4 November 2013 (UTC) -A barnstar for you!-

The Writer's Barnstar | |
My good tidings on the excellent research and updating on the Rudolf Berthold article. I had read some on him from Time-Life books about WW1, but I didn't know his political standing. He seems, like Richthofen(Manfred), that if he had lived he would have veered away from Hitler and the Nazi Party. As you say he had monarchists beliefs and the German monarchy was over at the end of WW1. Great job! Koplimek (talk) 23:57, 15 December 2014 (UTC) |
