that deletion notice was a little fast, don't you think. It was only up for a few seconds. DaronDierkes (talk) 10:52, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thans for barnstar! But why?

[edit]

Hey! Thanks for barnstar! But why did I get it because I really don't know what "barnstar is awarded to you cuz I feel like it" means. Kubek15 (Sign!) (Contribs) (UBX) 11:43, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Santangelo family

[edit]

Hello, Connorflanagan. Thanks for keeping an eye out on article quality. I'm dropping you a note to let you know that I have removed the speedy deletion template that you placed on Santangelo family because the article does not seem to fit the speedy deletion criterion. WP:CSD#A1 is only for articles that do not have a clear subject. If the subject can be clearly understood, then the article is not a candidate for deletion by that criterion. Please consider other means for addressing ongoing concerns. Feel free to let me know at my talk page if you'd like to discuss this further. Thanks. Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:50, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going through some of the articles I created and I'm thinking there's no real need for the Santangelo articles on wiki. I mean, what;s the point? The novels aren't that influential. I wouldn't mind at al if they were gone. Here they are: Gino Santangelo, Lucky Santangelo, Dario Santangelo, Enzio Bonnatti, Steven Berkley, Other members of the Santangelo family, Other characters in the Santangelo novels, Maria Grazione Santangelo, The Santangelo Gang, Santangelo family and Category:Jackie Collins characters. There are also images that go with them.
So what's the deal with this? As the sole author and contributor, I am officially abandoning them as useless. What's the next step? {font-weight:bold;color:#002b78} (talk) 11:29, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Checking in

[edit]

Hi there, I was just wondering how you're getting on and if you need any help with anything. I noticed that you've offered adoption to a couple of people. Does that mean you feel experienced enough to go it alone now? By the way, can I recommend using edit summaries? They are really important, let others know what you're doing, why you make certain edits etc. If you forget (I used to forget all the time) there is an option in "preferences" that lets you have a reminder if you don't provide an edit summary. All the best, --BelovedFreak 15:04, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:

1) I had to search for what you were even talking about since you weren't signed in at the time. If you had been signed in at the time I probably wouldn't have left you a warning because then I would've figured you were just editing the mistake. That page gets way too much vandalism for most of the people who watch it to be able to figure out what's what.

2) Why would you fix the link to something that was obviously vandalism? Blink 182 are no longer a band and thus would not be on a current tour.

3) If you have this account then the warning on the IP page really won't matter in the long run. Not that it would anyway. DX927 (talk) 17:39, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:On_My_Funeral.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:47, 6 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 20:47, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Bumblebear

[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages such as Bumblebear, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 06:34, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bumblebear.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 06:36, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Connor.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Connor.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:04, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:KenJeong.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:KenJeong.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Everything you've uploaded here has been deleted as have you've last few silly articles. Perhaps you need a different hobby ? - Peripitus (Talk) 12:37, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
