- There were 103 new articles and 21 new drafts in October 2016.

Announcements
[edit]- In October, Jaguar (on behalf of WP:VG) launched WP:VG1000, an ambitious project aimed at the improvement of 1000 WP:VG articles. Based on Dr. Blofeld's UK&Ireland-oriented "The 10,000 Challenge", the concept is very simple: just improve a video game article–any video game article–and then post a link to it in the VG1000 list. Depending on how well this goes, there are whispers of possible competitions, prizes, and other fancy stuff!
