winx roles
Hello. When u saying that a voice actor don't know the character name spelling then u maybe don't know this: a va have a script with character name role. Rebecca tweet Techna instead of Tecna to me. But to another person she tweet Tecna. So??--Maxie1hoi (talk) 14:13, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- If you were a voice actor would you remember the exact spelling of Tecna vs. Techna from among hundreds of roles you've voiced? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 12:05, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- Then comes the question: Does it matter? Unless Techna and Tecna are two different characters on the show, which they aren't, Rebecca is still saying she voiced her. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:41, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
Hellom what do u mean with "ugh not this again"? It's strange that Greg knows who Caren was but the rest not! He is still not sure! I mean: Rebecca saying to me Techna and to another person Tecna. That's strange.--Maxie1hoi (talk) 15:34, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- How is he not sure? He replied to your tweet that Caren voiced Stella. He didn't say "I'm not sure, but I think it's Stella". So why are you going back and editing that entry yet again when there's no new information that would question the sources provided? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:49, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
Using {{stub}}
Before adding the tag "{{stub}}" to an article, for example, the article Juvana 2: Terperangkap Dalam Kebebasan, you need to first make sure that the article doesn't already have another stub classification.
You recently added the tag "{{stub}}" to said article, however the article was already listed under Category:Malaysian film stubs using the tag "{{malaysia-film-stub}}".
Read Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting for more information.

Service Preparatory Institute article on wikipedia
Dear Sir,
I understand that Service Preparatory Institute article on wikipedia is marked as advertisement. However, it is not an advertisement, but information about a government run school, in Maharashtra, India. I request you to kindly remove the tag of advertisement and make is available for general people to read. I am alumni of this school and I can reply to your queries, if any.

- You'll need to rewrite the article so that it isn't a copy of what is on the website, and provide sources that are independent of the subject. The way it stands right now it is a copy of what the website provides but with very minor rewording. Please also read WP:COI. There are sections that aren't of interest for Wikipedia such as the details on how to apply to the school. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 05:46, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Notice of discretionary sanctions
Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Jytdog (talk) 21:09, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- Jytdog, please get a stronger edit notice placed on the related page. The generic "This is a BLP" one isn't working to gather attention. The
{{Ds/editnotice}}
is probably what you want on that page, but I don't see it on there as is. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:53, 17 January 2018 (UTC)- anybody can put that on. sure i will do it. Jytdog (talk) 21:58, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks. I appreciate it. It's not right to be warned of DS when the DS notice is not there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:00, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- I saw the DS talk notice just got added. Can we get the DS editnotice on there as well? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:19, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
- Is there a particular phrase to put in "restriction" for the DS editnotice, like "1=are editing a BLP which is being scruntized for bias and WP:PEACOCK statements." AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:41, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

- Jytdog, not anyone can place the
{{Ds/editnotice}}
, it needs administrator access per WP:ACDS. Can you take care of that? I still don't see it on the page. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:53, 18 January 2018 (UTC) - Oh, you mean the thing that appears in the top of the editing window. That can only be used if DS are actually put into effect. One of the required fields, is the sanction that is in effect.
- A lot of people are confused about DS.
- They are made available for use on certain topics by Arbcom. BLP is one of those topics.
- What DS being "available" means is the following:
- 1) anybody acting badly on such a topic, who has been notified of the DS and continues to act badly, can be brought to WP:AE and actually sanctioned there.
- 2) any administrator can place a specific sanction on the article or topic and everybody working on it (for example, nobody can revert more than once) to resolve outbursts of disruption.
- DS being available is not the same as any specific sanction being actually put in place, nor is it the same as anyone being brought to AE.
- DS being available just means there is something like a sword of damocles hanging over the subject and anyone editing about it. Hanging there.
- there are no specific sanctions (of the #2 kind above) on the Danielle Fong article. The edit notice that is there, is the strongest one that can be used at this time.
- Does that make sense? Jytdog (talk) 01:06, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- I think the sword needs to be displayed if it's the kind of sanctioning beyond the usual BLPs. There are numbers of BLP articles that have had gone to RFPP without having to present DS-level warnings. With Fong's article being heavily peacocked, I can see where that may be implemented first, but are those peacock edits coming from experienced editors? Fairy Tail Zero
Thank you for your edits regarding the Fairy Tail Zero article. However, you added chapter citations without providing the proper references to the graphic novel those chapters were from. Also, please be mindful of proper tense usage; plot information must be written in present tense, with the past tense only used when addressing prior events relative to what is "current" at that point in the summary. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 15:58, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- I haven't seen extensive use of gnn/gnr on the article, so I used Ref instead, but that's fine, whatever works. Sjones23 and I were the ones who established gnn/gnr use on the List of Fairy Tail characters and have been doing historical present narratives a while back. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:33, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- Regarding order of characters, are you not presenting them in order of first appearance? That is why Zeeself was placed early in the list. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:34, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- SubZeroSilver, the placement of Zera's information back in Conception and Development looks good. Thanks for moving that. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:00, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
- Ordering the characters as they were presented on the official website of the anime adaptation seemed like a good way to do it. It's how many other manga- and anime-related articles I've seen have done it, so I combined that with my own judgement. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 18:16, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Please clarify this confusion
Hi, thanks for making me comprehend the act of 'originalism' in the Barbie film series and Barbie Dreamtopia articles. I the hell appreciate it and will try to be original in the summaries. One thing I want to point out to you in the former as a good-faith flaw is: Mermaidia is a sequel of Fairytopia. Mariposa on another side is rightfully and undoubtedly the spin-off of Fairytopia. A Mermaid Tale and Mariposa have 2 sequels each, fine! Moreso, the films with the prefix, Barbie & Her Sisters are considered to be a film group on its own (including the recently released "Barbie: Dolphin Magic"). Fairytopia/Mermaidia doesn't fall under any film group. Simply put, Fairytopia is the film group and Mermaidia is just one of its films. Please clarify this and let's try to put the ordinary into truth and not chaff! Much, much thanks!!! ColdBold (contribs/talk) 06:25, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- As long as the groupings are done by the Mattel / Barbie, and not our own reasoning. There were edits earlier that said there was a Barbie ballet/dance series and a Fairy Tale series, and then original research statements like "this is the first of the ballet group". None of that is referenced. The ballet/dance videos are never grouped as ballet/dance, and neither are the fairy tale ones. Also, the summaries should not be the canned summaries from the video covers as that would be a copyright violation. They should be written in our own words. See WP:COPYVIO and WP:CLOP That's why I commented them out. Hope that explains things. The groupings should be done by Barbie / Mattel if there are fantasy worlds that are revisited. Hope that answers your questions. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 07:43, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, Barbie: Dreamtopia is all in one article now: the pre-film web series, the film itself, the second film, and the new web series. It's not in the same grouping as fairytopia or other -topias though. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 07:52, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
For your knowledge and correction, Barbie is from Mattel, or should I say; Mattel is the company that owns Barbie. However, the groupings; I made them. The reason being that this wiki page: the Spy Kids series inspired me to. Plus, the distributor, Universal rather grouped them into likable format for marketing. By the way, I'll try to rephrase my summaries.ColdBold (talk) 12:14, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- If you made the sub-groupings, then it's original research, so you can't use that. Please read WP:SYNTH and WP:OR. If you notice, the films are just grouped by period, mainly by whether Kelly Sheridan voices Barbie as those define when Mattel changed direction in their product. That was a big deal to change who voices Barbie as indicated by multiple news sources. I've rewritten them in the lead. The studios that made them need to be referenced. But yes, the summaries need to be rewritten. Please don't use Wikia as a reference. That website has been vandalized by an editor who frequently tries to add original research statements here on Wikipedia and has since been banned. 2018 Superbowl Ads
Thanks for helping clean up the 2018 Super Bowl Ads.
My Sourcing that I did not list was direct from YouTube AdBlitz.
Any questions don't hesitate to message me.
Quile78 (talk) 04:04, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- Does the Adblitz have confirmation that those ads will be Super Bowl ads? They could then be added back with references. I think if they had secondary sources like Adweek or the press, that would help. No reference means no source. It's interesting that this year they have trailers (15-second previews) for the actual ads AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:32, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Hi there. Could you please help me expand this article? I'm trying to bring it up to DYK standards but it's getting hard to expand the article to the required length considering I've already added most of what I could find in reliable sources. Would it be alright for you to add additional information too? Thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:24, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
I added the Oricon profile to the external links; that might have more articles pertaining to her career. Did you already scrub through the JA wikipedia article? That seems to have a lot of references. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:29, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- I did and the Japanese article isn't exactly that good; it's actually shorter than the English article (as of my expansion), and most of what is there are trivia. I took a look at the sources and most are primary or are otherwise unsuitable for use. I hope you could find other sources that can be used, and more information that can be added, as the 10-day expansion countdown started today. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:32, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- By the way, do you have a Discord or IRC account? Maybe we could talk there too for quicker responses. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:37, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- I think the Oricon news articles might be helpful, hopefully they aren't just passing mentions. The discography could be redone like the major ones with the Oricon ranking listed there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:06, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

I stripped out Youtube, Amazon and Wordpress references form the Laura Bailey article. The "credit references" (like this one[1]) also appear to be very fishy to me, so I posted a query at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard. The point is that I see loads of minor name check coverage and little in-depth coverage.104.163.148.25 (talk) 03:20, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

Hey there, can you help me expand this article? I'm thinking of bringing it to DYK (or at least destubifying it), but the Japanese Wikipedia article (which for some reason appears to be semi'd) doesn't have much usable content, and I can't really find much sources that specifically discuss her, particularly her life. Can you help me out here? Thanks. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:20, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
- She seems to have a lot of publicity and news articles with some live-action video show called 水瀬いのりと大西沙織のPick Up Girls. Also some publicity events like [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
Her role was Miwako Sato in Case Closed / Detective Conan is a major one. AfD nominations
Thank you for patrolling new pages. As a New Page Reviewer, you are expected to know our deletion policies inside out. Please see: WP:ATD-R and please note that this is a policy, not a mere guideline. Thanks. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:28, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Kudpung was there a particular New Page Review that was in question? I've sent several to RFD as unlikely to be useful gamecruft, so I'd like to know where I can improve on those. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:55, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Not Kudpung, but I guess my advice to you from before still stands: if proposing a redirect is a suitable alternative to nominating an article for deletion, then if possible do that instead. Like, don't nominate unremarkable authors with notable series for deletion: suggest a redirect instead, or even boldly redirect yourself if possible. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 16:03, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- (edit conflict)::What that policy means is that articles that are not toxic and could serve as a useful redirect don't have to be deleted, should be considered as a redirect. This is particularly important for non notable schools. Several 1,000 school AfD that have been closed as redirect to their school district article or locality demonstrate the observance of this policy. Gamecruft is of course rubbish and the best place for it is the bin.Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 16:11, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Narutolovehinata5, it'd help if I knew what specific redirect was in question. I've done a bunch of them at RFD and New Pages Feed, the ones at New Pages like those non-notable junior colleges in India created by a blocked user, and then all those Wing Commander gamecruft redirects that were batch added but have no mention in the article. And there was a New Page redirect that was just left as a blank that I changed into a redirect that can be RFD'ed later. And I boldly retargeted the Eight Smart Mattress article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:13, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with your school or gamecruft RfDs, but I guess a look back at Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga/Deletion Archive should give you an idea of what I'm talking about (specifically, your old anime/manga author/illustrator/character AfDs where you also said "recommend redirecting to X"). Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 16:16, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- If it's the manga author redirects, then I will boldly retarget where the author has but a single work then? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:17, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- If the author is primarily known for a single work, then just simply redirect it to there. But if the author is known for multiple works, then perhaps a talk-page discussion is necessary (not an AfD unless even their notability and/or the notability of their works are questionable too). Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 16:21, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- If it's the manga author redirects, then I will boldly retarget where the author has but a single work then? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:17, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- The school ones if they can redirect to a district that lists the school in question, then great, but those particular schools I've nominated show nothing. The city or district articles do not mention the school. They don't even have equivalent articles in the Wikipedia corresponding to their original language. If someone can find those and add them to the article then I'd recommend the redirect, but would you rather have it boldly redirected or discussed at an AFD? And if boldly redirected, where to put it? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:22, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Schools pertaining to the school ones. You'll note that I've attempted to place them in districts but there's no luck with that. The sources are either primaries or passing mentions (focusing on the students rather than which school) so they don't meet WP:GNG The article detail is mainly a list of subjects or majors they have at the school. And the creator was blocked for COI. A lot of those "new" articles should really be developed in Draft and not immediately thrown into the New Pages like that. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:27, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- I've also read through the RFC regarding schooloutcomes and made sure that isn't a problem. 3 AFDs is hardly a flood. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:07, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Voice actor articles
I think you may want to reconsider qualifications for notability on actor wiki pages in light of everything that went down on the Terri Doty page yesterday. She herself doesn't like the perceived "slant" some editors seem to be pushing, and I've seen multiple actors lament the state of their own pages as well. I know I've been becoming disinterested in editing most pages anymore partly because views of notability seem to have a lot more subjective over the years, and it's bred a genuinely toxic environment even for those who actually want to make meaningful contributions. Either reaching out to Terri or other VAs and explaining why certain things are done or working with other editors to re-evaluate these methods might be prudent at this stage. (Note that I haven't touched the page and don't intend to; I'm just saying maybe there's a larger discussion that needs to take place.) -- 136.181.195.25 (talk) 15:34, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- You might want to help point editors to WP:PROUD, which explains that having a Wikipedia article is not necessarily a good thing. We've pointed that out to Mike Pollock (voice actor), whose Wikipedia article had been deleted before for not meeting notability in secondary sources, but has since been revived. Also have them read WP:COI conflict of interest. It's okay for them to get involved in Wikipedia in guiding some of the edits, but do it through the talk page. This has worked well with J. G. Hertzler and that's an article I'm glad to have made unbiased and neutral while still getting good information from the subject in question that I can then verify with news articles. As for the voice actor pages, when they are just a list of credits and they are not sourced, of course they will be hacked up and stripped to only the material that can be sourced. If they don't meet notability WP:GNG though, as they have no news articles discussing them and their career, or any information to show why they are notable, then the article will probably be subject to deletion. So I'm not sure what you want me to reconsider. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:35, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- As for general notability, all person articles should meet WP:GNG. WP:ENT comes afterwards, but it has to meet WP:GNG first. Many times, the voice actor doesn't have any news articles about their career, and it becomes very difficult to justify keeping them around. Someone who has starred in a number of shows is expected to have news articles and reviews about the person that aren't anime convention profiles (which would be close to self-publishing and advertising) or cast announcements (passing mentions). You can look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Anime_and_manga/Biography#Referencing_a_biography for some good news articles that would help the voice actor meet GNG. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:50, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- Don't tell me, I'm not the one that needs to be convinced. Again, there needs to be a dialogue with the actors themselves to explain why Wikipedia policy is the way it is, because right now, the perception is "you and the things you do aren't important, and we know your careers better than you do." Extending that olive branch and reaching out might actually serve to offer a little perspective to both sides and hopefully avoid this kind of thing happening in the future. Or can you honestly say that this is how you want people to see yourself and the site as a whole? -- 136.181.195.25 (talk) 15:38, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm not the one who removed TAS. I think that's one of her biggest contributions in the anime industry. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:49, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- And that's why I've been suggesting you be the one to reach out. Compared to some of the other editors, you're one of the people who's actually making a point to try and improve the page rather than adding or removing things carte blanche. I genuinely think that getting people on both sides talking would lead to both more understanding on the part of the actors and perhaps self-reflection on the way things are handled on Wikipedia's side. As of now, all we've got are two groups attacking one another and refusing to acknowledge the other's perspective, and nothing good will come from that in the long run. -- 136.181.195.25 (talk) 16:54, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- You're welcome to try to explain to them how Wikipedia works. The self-published book is just that. Anyone can write a book and get it published, so I put it in the Personal life section. I don't think it's big enough to make her primary occupation an author, but Again, I would point the actors to the links I mentioned above. The actors still need to meet GNG. Otherwise you'll see other editors who don't have an interest in the anime industry or its actors calling for the deletion of their article, and they are a lot more stricter than I have been. You can see the AFDs for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Justin Briner (2nd nomination) where MizukaS has vouched for retaining despite being borderline notable, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Erika Harlacher that I've vigorously searched for GNG sources. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:04, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

As of now, all we've got are two groups attacking one another and refusing to acknowledge the other's perspective, and nothing good will come from that in the long run. -- 136.181.195.25 (talk) 16:54, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm not the one who removed TAS. I think that's one of her biggest contributions in the anime industry. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:49, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
My opinion on the matter
I couldn't care less how the public thinks of the site. This entire debacle happened because the subject prematurely jumped to conclusions without actually studying the site's policies, as well as grouping all Wiki editors as a single entity, when it is blatantly obvious that we operate as individuals. No amount of explaining would make them understand, unfortunately - they, as well as their fans, have already made the conclusion that the site is filled with people that are only interested in "gutting" articles. Not to mention that some of their crazed fans have decided to hop in and mess things up even further, and it's obvious that they were doing more harm than good. That's why one of them got blocked, and I think it is likely for the other one to share the same fate as well. All info listed must be verifiable - it is a Wikipedia policy. Regardless of how much the public complains on Twitter, it doesn't change that fact. MizukaS (talk) 18:41, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- If fans want to improve the article, they can do so by digging up secondary sources independent of the subject. Bring up those news articles like the ones as I mentioned before. Find some reviews of her acting as written by critics like with Anime News Network She wrote a book? Great, get some critical reviews from Publishers Weekly or School Library Journal. She acted in some local theatre production in Dallas? How about a review from The Dallas Morning News or Dallas Observer? She attend some national conventions? Great, get articles like Bleeding Cool or Allentown Morning Call, although those two are passing mentions. But if her works are all sourced by her own website and primaries, that's not going to stay around. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:42, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Precisely. But the subject doesn't get it, and thinks that we are marginalizing her career. It really only takes a single compare between her article and Kari Wahlgren's to know that the latter is what we're trying to work towards. MizukaS (talk) 19:46, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
What do you think to bring back COTW?
Hi AngusWOOF,
I noticed that WikiProject Anime and manga used to have collaboration of the week (COTW) events a long time ago. Looks like the cost of coordinating to select articles to focus on was a main reason to make COTW stop, though COTW seemed pretty effective in engaging project members working together. I am thinking to create a tool to help recommend one or two articles to WikiProjects. Just wonder what do you think about it? Thank you! Bobo.03 (talk) 22:06, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
- Getting folks to work on the same article can be challenging, but if you think there are tools that can point to articles that could use more editors, then that could be helpful. I'm just concerned that COTW picks some article that no one has any interest in or can't really be edited because it requires committing to watch the show to verify its content. But yeah, it'd be great to be able to WP:TNT some articles and get them into good shape. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:19, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- I kind of wanted to maintain such a todolist on WP:ANIME/BIO but as you can see, all of the "we should work on these" entries have stayed on there for years without anyone picking them up. You can also see stuff like that on WP:ANIME/CLEANUP AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:22, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry for my late reply as I didn't watch your page. These are very helpful suggestions! Thank you! The tool I am thinking about will help select articles. It will use algorithms to gather suggestions & feedback from different project members (hopefully, there will be like five or six per project..), so project members will engage in the selection and decision making process. With this, hope editors can be more engaged in editing and collaborating together on the selected articles. What do you think? Bobo.03 (talk) 18:27, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Toyota Crown (S220)
Hello AngusWOOF. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Toyota Crown (S220), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: G6 doesn't apply to redirects left behind as a result of a page move unless they were unambiguously made in error. Thank you. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 16:31, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

- Please add comments to Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2018 March 7#Toyota Crown (S220). I just thought it could be speedied as housekeeping follow-up but I guess it needs to be discussed as it's not some obvious typo. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:57, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

- I added my comments on the speedy discussion page but in short, both the rename and/or deletion violate Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles/Conventions#Nomenclature and WP:REDIRECTS. Stepho talk 21:21, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, please add the appropriate tags and embedded note referring to WP:AUTOCONV next time when creating the redirect, as showing an arbitrary model in parentheses or a single year gets confusing. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:20, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- This is the standard nomenclature for the automobile project. If we put notes for every single usage of the convention then there will be no time or space left for the actual work. Deviations from standard practice is what would need to have special comments. Stepho talk 23:01, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

OK, I'm through, thanks to you
I'm giving up on trying to improve the Miraculous Ladybug articles if you're going to keep on reverting/eliminating my good-faith edits for the POOREST of reasons. Nice going! 2601:545:8202:4EA5:3827:100B:F76C:6123 (talk) 06:45, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
- You'll have to be more specific. There are recent edits that were poorly done: 1) addition of unsourced airdates 2) repeated insertion of Rena Rouge as Carrie Keranen's role when Alya was only Rena for ONE episode 3) changing of the episode title structures 4) insertion of transformation phrases for other miraculous users besides the main two 5) adding non-notable channels or production countries to original broadcast. 6) adding play-by-play plot details on episodes, expanding episode word counts. Considering your current IP address doesn't have any contributions besides this note, I have to assume it could be any of those edits. If you can use an edit summary then I would see the reason behind it and assume good faith if I'm being too picky. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:47, 16 March 2018 (UTC)
I know stuff in Draft space gets deleted if it's inactive long enough. I don't know how soon I'll be able to expand those. Is there any means of having a bot save these to my userspace in that event rather than have them deleted? ScratchMarshall (talk) 17:37, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- ScratchMarshall, I'm not sure if there's a bot to handle that, but you should be able to move the drafts to your userspace and develop it there. WP:UD AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:41, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

New Page Review Newsletter No.10
ACTRIAL:
- ACTRIAL's six month experiment restricting new page creation to (auto)confirmed users ended on 14 March. As expected, a greatly increased number of unsuitable articles and candidates for deletion are showing up in the feed again, and the backlog has since increased already by ~30%. Please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day.
Paid editing
- Now that ACTRIAL is inoperative pending discussion, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies. A further discussion is currently taking place at: Can a subject specific guideline invalidate the General Notability Guideline?
Nominate competent users for Autopatrolled
- While patrolling articles, if you find an editor that is particularly competent at creating quality new articles, and that user has created more than 25 articles (rather than stubs), consider nominating them for the 'Autopatrolled' user right HERE.

Adminship offer
Hi, AngusWOOF. Looking at your contributions, I am considering you to be nominated for adminship, so I would like to inquire as to your thoughts about that. I think you'd make a good candidate, so I'd like to check in before I do anything too in-depth concerning this. I'm especially impressed with your work at RfD (I have to admit, most of your !votes are pretty well-reasoned), your cleanup work in media-related articles, and your competent responses to conflicts with other users! ToThAc (talk) 17:45, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, it is a big responsibility, so while I couldn't find any permissions that help out the RfD process, I think your best bet would be to review contentious RfD discussions to see if and how you would close them. There's also an administrators' reading list that shouldn't take too long to skim through. I'll begin drafting the RfA in the meantime, and will let you know when I finish it (but before I officially implement it). ToThAc (talk) 13:28, 29 March 2018 (UTC)
- (Talk page stalker!) Unsolicited advice: WP:ORCP is really an invaluable opportunity to have RfA regulars review your record and give suggestions on what preparation could help make candidacy a success. I've really appreciated the good work you've done improving that Smriti Nagpal stub even as we've disagreed on some aspects of the AfD, Angus, and I wanted to make sure you get all possible assistance in considering an RfA, since it can be such a, er, let's say, fractious area of the project! Very much hope that helps. Happy editing! Innisfree987 (talk) 23:35, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will take a look at that page and also think about what stuff I'd want to do that would be more effective with such a move. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:13, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- Sounds great. And I could have sworn I'd seen you over there already, so maybe the RfA counter is broken, but if you haven't yet, chiming in other people's RfAs js a great way to get a survey of all the different kinds of admin tasks available to work on (different candidates def focus on different things), as well as get a sense of what voters look for. Very useful in considering the enterprise! Best best, Innisfree987 (talk) 02:02, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- I'm finished, if you want to take a look before I submit it. ToThAc (talk) 17:54, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, I need to figure out if I have time for this, and what to prepare if I do. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:22, 2 April 2018 (UTC)

I am not critisizing your decision to be bold to delete the exemples box, but I think you could have spare and instead trim it down as we have the same in Space opera. Thank you for your contributions and I have great respect towards you. I would do it, but I wouldn't want that you revert it and go into revert-wars. I would like to consider it and discuss it with you, but I really would love it back again. It had some great exemples into it. Respect, Angus.

1990s cricket tours to South Africa
Every - but every - Test cricket tour since 1877 has a page on this site, except, for whatever reason, a number of tours of South Africa in the 1990s and early 2000s. Many Test tours have only a stub here and potted scores. It is not right to divert pages I have written which at least provide context along with potted scores back to a generic page of a decade of South African cricket, pending me or someone else coming to add full match scores. I have added full match scores for all Tests up to 1984 here, but I cannot guarantee getting to South Africa post-1992 soon. Marplesmustgo (talk) 23:05, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- That's fine, but it should be developed there in Draft:Australian cricket team in South Africa in 1993–94 with those sources first in order to show it can be notable and independent of the decade-based article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:09, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- The comment around there being an 8-match ODI series between SA and AUS which was drawn 4-4, which was in my original creation of the page, is entirely independent of the decade-based article which makes no mention of that at all. I could develop that at length (and dear me, what length! 8 matches!) but I would rather clear the "List of Test series with Wikipedia articles, stubs or nay" bracket, which has about 300 series in it and only 11 South African series in the 90s, to the point where all Test series get an article first. My time is not unlimited. Marplesmustgo (talk) 23:15, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- It should still be drafted so that sufficient sources can show it is independently notable. Currently that Australian one only goes to a single reference Cricket Archive. That's not going to help much. Also, you should discuss on WP:CRICKET / WT:CRICKET whether it's time to split out and create stubs for all the teams and tests for those seasons. If you have consensus on that WP to do that, then you can start converting redirects to articles, but I don't see that discussion conclusion. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:26, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- Do I have to spell it out in words of one syllable that it does not matter if the only source is Cricket Archive? Until pretty recently, the article on the 1968 Ashes - the most significant contest in cricket - was not much more than a stub with links only to Cricket Archive. That sat there for an age with nothing to say. It was not deleted because even a stub is better than nothing.
- In regard to the other point, there is no reason to get a consensus on WP:CRICKET that every Test tour deserves a page. Every single tour since 1877 has a page - even if it is a stub - except for 90s/early 00s tours in South Africa. These are the exceptions to a wide-encompassing rule. If it was a problem it would have been addressed by now. Marplesmustgo (talk) 19:47, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
- I've initiated discussion on WP:CRICKET to point to the draft page as it's not clear what the rule is and how best to structure this. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:53, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
Woof. Woof. Can you tell me what "This biography needs to show independent notability from the church" means? Thanks. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 04:19, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
- Sure, see WP:NOTINHERITED and WP:INHERITORG. Just because he is a prominent leader of a church doesn't make him automatically notable. On the flip side, that he is not even mentioned in the churches' articles doesn't help his notability either. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 04:54, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

GreenUnikorn (talk) 01:07, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
- GreenUnikorn, you might want to look at the commons licensing notices concerning uploading non-free images. Wikipedia can't use copyrighted or publicity photos like those that are part of official website, IMDb, news articles. They're more likely to be okay with unofficial pictures like ones taken by fans at public places. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:26, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
Elchezinazo redirects
Hey, just wanted to let you know I will be reverting the tags you placed on redirects created by Elchezinazo. Per WP:G5, the "article must have been made while the user was actually banned or blocked. A page created before the ban or block was imposed or after it was lifted will not qualify under this criterion." So you can't ask to delete the user's creations if they were made before the banning. Sro23 (talk) 00:40, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Sro23, what if the banning was because of these types of creations? That's what I understood from the discussion on ANI per complaint #2 "create articles associated with the subject, mostly singles, that do not meet notability criteria" . Should I send them to RFD? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:43, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I would take to RFD. I don't think notability applies to redirects? Sro23 (talk)
- RFD would be more for questioning whether they are useful searches regardless of notability. I think most of those are probably going to stay as redirects because they are mentioned physical tracks on the album. It's just annoying to see spawns of tens of non-notable track redirects. For possible singles, yes, it's helpful, but having stuff like Overture (artist song) seems silly. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:51, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

Fujiwara Keiji
I see that you have reverted the title of the main section to Filmography. I know this is kind of standard, but how do we reconcile the fact that drama CDs and even video games are not films, in the sense that they're not video-based? And then there's a separate section called Live Action, meaning actual physical appearances, which is entirely different than voicing for live action? Doesn't that look a little confusing? That's why I thought that Voice Acting Work was clearer. What do you think?Pandora18 (talk) 18:47, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
- Filmography's a general title for any kind of recorded visual multimedia works including television, commercials and web series. So video games are like films with how they are recorded, especially with cut scenes. I agree that Drama CDs are probably different enough from films so they can be placed in the discography section. Music videos would go in the filmography section of the actor unless the actor is the music artist, then it goes into discography. Also separating voice-work from live-action work is pretty standard for voice actors. If you want Voice-over filmography and Live-action filmography subsections, that would be fine. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:57, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
- You might want to look at GamePlaza Haruka's voice acting database, or Hitoshi Doi's voice acting database. There they group the video game roles with the anime and film roles. But Fujiwara's Wikipedia article needs a major filmography overhaul anyway. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:06, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
- Alright, then I will move the Live Action section into Filmography and add a little blurb so that it's clearly differentiated from voice work. I've already done some major adding and sorting work on this page (games and dubs used to be in alphabetical order, which doesn't make much sense), but some improvements can still be made I guess. Still working on the drama CD section which is desperately empty. I might move it into a Discography section later on, alongside the character songs.Pandora18 (talk) 11:28, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

- I would check out WP:NGEO on structures and buildings section and look at similar movie theater articles, and add references showing that it is a historically important building. If you want to cover a whole chain of theaters like Century Theatres, that's another option but that means the organization (Chain Cinema) would have to be notable rather than the building. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff)
- I have added some references. But unfortunately there are not many sources about Iran and the buildings in Iran.so the references I have in article are in Persian language you can check. One of the sources was Iranica. Yuuki Yunna
Hi. You contacted me about the direct. Yuuki Yunna is the alternate name for the manga. Its was typically name used before the Americanized/Englished name for the manga was given to it. If you do a search, it pops up. --Colt9033 (talk) 00:30, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
- Where is that used? It's either romanized to one u (Yuki Yuna) or two u's (Yuuki Yuuna), not a mix of one or the other. Do you have English media that state the title as a mix of the two plus Yunna with two N's? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:42, 28 April 2018 (UTC)

Iron Mike Norton
Just a quick note regarding some recent edits to the article on Iron Mike Norton. I am the artist and I check the article from time to time for accuracy. I gave no idea how to do edits, but I would like to thank you for cleaning up the page. I noticed you asked for both the importance and citation for the King Eagle Award. I could possibly supply that information, but I don't want to waste anyone's time. Here's what I can tell you immediately:
1. Importance? I don't know how to answer that because its subjective. The award has been given to several notable artists, including Crystal Gayle, The Gatlin Brothers, etc. In its day, it was quite an honor to some people. The King Eagle Award may no longer be held, since the show's founder passed away.
2. Citation. I may I still have my nomination letter, and I could post it on my website. I don't see anywhere it is cited online, although the Way Back Machine Might Have It.
I leave it to you to decide if it should stay or go, or if you need more information. I wouldn't be mad if it wasn't in the article. I just want to keep the article accurate. I really don't know how you can respond to me, and you don't really have to. If there are any questions, email my official website. Thank you for your work and attention! --142.197.201.3 (talk) 03:51, 2 May 2018 (UTC) Iron Mike Norton
- Thanks for commenting on this. It appears to be a local Nashville award from Airplay International, so it probably does not need its own section. I can probably write this back into the biography section. Wikipedia tends to only want to have Awards sections for displaying major awards that link to their own articles. Legends of the Hidden Temple's last airdate
As you may or may not have seen, I left a message on the Legends of the Hidden Temple talk page on when in 1995 the game show last aired. I let other wikipedians know that I was just trying to figure out when in 1995 Legends last aired. We can't seem to find any sources that provide an accurate end date (the sources that say Legends last aired on June 27, 1995 are wrong as a few airdates after June 27, 1995 have been confirmed). We're also not sure if November 10 is really it.

Good day AngusWOOF! I am leaving you this message to seek your help regarding two other Ang Probinsyano pages. The first being the Ang Probinsyano main page and the other, the List of Ang Probinsyano guest stars page. In my one year as a contributor on Wikipedia, most of my edits have been adding contents and citations to such contents on said pages as well as the various pages devoted to the show. However, I've always ran into a problem with an anonymous user that frequently removed content, despite the content having a citation attached to it, and actually removing the citation as well. I've sought the help of Babymissfortune on the matter, as the user has one too many times reverted the edits of this anonymous user. However, I receieved neither a response from Babymissfortune nor was there an investigation conducted on the same. I've also listed the IP addresses used by the anonumous user. The fact that the edits made by the anonmyous user is centered on the removal of content, wikilinks and references without leaving a summary or explanation of why which even if the user did leave an explanation would still be not enough to justify his actions considering he removes content that has a verifiable source, leads me to believe that the said anonymous user is one person using multiple IP addresses. On top of the unity of actions between the various anonymous contributors, the fact that the IP addresses share a common combination - 130.105.10 - leads us to no other conclusion than that of these IP addresses belonging to one and only person.
I have toiled long and hard to ensure the veracity of the contents in the aforementioned pages. In fact, the List of Ang Probinsyano guest stars page was once listed as a listcruft for lack of references. I scoured the Internet to find references to support the content listed therein and time and time again, the anonymous user has reverted my edits by removing the content, wikilink and references that I have added without providing any explanation.
I have tried talking to the anonymous user by leaving a message on his talk page, and one on both the affected pages, but I got no response and the anonymous user still carried on removing content and references attached to the content. Having laid all of that, I implore you to act on the matter and get an explanation from the anonymous user. In the alternative, should the anonymous user persist in the inexplicable and unnecessary removal of content and citations, that a ban for his various IP addresses be made so that he could not disrupt the affected pages anymore. Lest it be forgotten that one of the Five Pillars of Wikipedia is that its articles are written from a neutral point of view, which calls for every article to be verifiable. By the anonymous user's removal of the citations, the verifiability of the entries on the page is negated.
Here is a list of said anonymous user’s IP addresses that proves that a ban may be in order.

Reasons for removal of sourcing
The reason I removed the sourcing for the video game mascot list is if the characters are said to "actually suck", it indicates that they "don't deserve to be video game mascots". I just want to give those characters good names, especially Sonic the Hedgehog. Yusheng02 (talk) 19:16, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
- Please read WP:BIASEDSOURCES. We're not obligated to only keep positive viewpoints on mascots. The reference and critieria is there merely to prove that they are mascots. If they are not considered mascots by reliable sources then they should be removed from the page. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:22, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
- On the flip side, if you want to replace the "actually suck" sources for certain entries with another reliable source that just calls it a video game mascot and doesn't have any opinion on it, then feel free to do so. Just don't leave it empty without any sourcing. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:23, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.11 25 May 2018
ACTRIAL:
- WP:ACREQ has been implemented. The flow at the feed has dropped back to the levels during the trial. However, the backlog is on the rise again so please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day; a backlog approaching 5,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
Deletion tags
- Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders. They require your further verification.
Backlog drive:
- A backlog drive will take place from 10 through 20 June. Check out our talk page at WT:NPR for more details. NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.
Editathons
- There will be a large increase in the number of editathons in June. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
Paid editing - new policy
- Now that ACTRIAL is ACREQ, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. There is a new global WMF policy that requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies.
Not English
- A common issue: Pages not in English or poor, unattributed machine translations should not reside in main space even if they are stubs. Please ensure you are familiar with WP:NPPNE. Check in Google for the language and content, tag as required, then move to draft if they do have potential.
News
- Development is underway by the WMF on upgrades to the New Pages Feed, in particular ORES features that will help to identify COPYVIOs, and more granular options for selecting articles to review.
- The next issue of The Signpost has been published. The newspaper is one of the best ways to stay up to date with news and new developments. between our newsletters.

New Shows for summer 2018
How did you know that Glitter Force: Doki Doki Is being dubbed? How did you know? Will it happen again in 2018? Because of this? What'll happen next after the Finale of Doki Doki? I can't predict another season of this series, all I know that this show happened in Summer, 2017. And it'll happen in Summer, 2018! Which Means... Happiness Charge. Well do you think that I predict a new season of the series? Let me know.

- I have no idea if they'll make more PreCure adaptations. So far it looked pretty good, but it's up to Netflix whether they will buy more of the series. It'd be great if they didn't have to trim it down now that Saban isn't involved in the series anymore, but they might continue to edit down the future series. Westcliff school of skills
Good day AngusWOOF I respect your opinion. Regarding the rugby: It is according to me notable that such a high % of one school is represented in a provincial side. Its more than a third of 22 players. The school also had a player in the South African ruby school side. This side is chosen out off 9 Provinces. Kindly considered to keep the artilce Regards User:Barry Ne
- Barry Ne, it still needs some context. What is the provincial rugby team, and how many schools does it draw from in the area? If there are like 3-5 schools in the provincial, then having it composed of 1/3 from the school, it is not a big deal. If it's more like 20 schools and it's uncommonly known for having a high percentage of rugby players in the provincial, then you'll need an article to support that statistic. As for the general article, I would like to see it back in Draft where it can be developed further with more secondary sources. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:37, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
Ang Probinsyano episodes
Good day AngusWOOF! Its been weeks since you changed the format for List of Ang Probinsyano episodes, especially Ang Probinsyano (season 1) considering that the changes that was made, left unfinished sticks out like a sore thumb when checked in said page and when checked as a whole in the episodes page. I am hoping that you can finish rolling out the new format for the episodes. Thank you. Gardo Versace (talk) 00:23, 29 May 2018 (UTC)

Good day AngusWOOF! Woof woof, I'd like to ask if you can apply the same format you did for Ang Probinsyano (season 1) to Ang Probinsyano (season 2), Ang Probinsyano (season 3), Ang Probinsyano (season 4) and Ang Probinsyano (season 5)? It would be greatly appreciated if you could follow up on it so that we could have a uniform format for all the seasons of Ang Probinsyano and a neater look to the List of Ang Probinsyano episodes.
Also, as a final note, might I suggest we render episodes italicized instead of being enclosed with quotation marks? i.e. Ang Simula instead of "Ang Simula".
Thank you! Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Woof! Woof! Gardo Versace (talk) 09:34, 1 June 2018 (UTC)

Good day AngusWoof! There's a it of a problem on the episodes page. The table of Season 5 does not render in the episodes page. Instead of the full table, this ie what's rendered in said page:

Good day AngusWOOF!!
It's been a while. Dropped by hour talk page to seek your help in fixing this new page I created back in April, Ang Probinsyano (season 7). I carried on using the format you left back when Ang Probinsyano was still in it's 5th season. However, as with the above message, I ran into a problem with how the episodes as listed on the season 7 page is rendered on the List of Ang Probinsyano episodes page. There is again a disruption of the table and I couldn't find the source of the disruption. To keep up appearances while we sort the problem out in the Season 7 page, we actually had to copy and paste the whole code for the table in the episodes page. It's almost a week since the problem was discovered and I must say, updating the entries on an identical table in two pages could tiresome fast. That's why I am imoring your help to solve this conundrum. Hoping for your kind assistance on the matter.
Warmest regards.

Good day AngusWOOF! I've been looking around Wikipedia to see how we can change the cell colors for the episodes to show the peak and the low of the series. From what I've gathered, that feature is not available in the Episodes Table Template, and is apparently only available for use in a wikitable, the format the seasons and episodes were in prior to its conversion to the episodes table. I've checked entries using the same such as List of The Walking Dead episodes. From what I've observed, the episodes table is tailored for American television shows, and the problem here is that the measurement of audiences in American television shows is different from how the measurement of audiences is made in the Philippines. In the United States, they measure based on the number viewing households by the millions. In the Philippines, they measure based on their share of viewing households denoted in percentage. Both reasons, I surmise, is the cause why we could not highlight the series highs and lows. Have you found a way on your end?
I've tried experimenting and the best I can do was change the color of the text, not the color of the cell itself. I did that by using the code {{{1}}} or {{{1}}}. For example, in Season 1, the series' peak is 46.7% while the series' nadir is 26.8%. They are thus rendered 46.7% and 26.8%. Gardo Versace (talk) 14:31, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- You could add (high) and (low) to the text, like 46.7% (high), or add asterisk/dagger footnotes. 46.7%*, 46.7† The colors could work too as well as bolding entries. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:53, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
I went with the colors though. Say, I'd like to bring your attention to an edit made by AlexTheWhovian on the air dates of the episodes on Ang Probinsyano (season 3). I'd like to ask your opinion on the matter, as personally I don't have a problem with it, but given that its different from the format of the other seasons, we either adapt the format for all seasons or we revert it back to its former format. Let's discuss what you think about it. Gardo Versace (talk) 15:03, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- Using start date is okay for original air date, according to the sublist. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:10, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
Should we adapt it for all the Seasons of the show? Gardo Versace (talk) 15:37, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- Up to you. It's a heck of a lot of formatting with not much value unless it is required for MOS. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:25, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

Miraculous Ladybug Japanese Dub News
I was at ThePowers3000's Youtube channel, and saw this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uK_yIv7Y14 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9jLgihOzrUhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHHc21NLMkg
What do you think? Do you think you can add it on the Miraculous Ladybug article? Can you add more information to know that it released the show in Japan? Is it really cheesy? I have found some proof. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 23:24, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- It's kind of weird that it was released in Japan after Netflix had broadcast it worldwide, like Japan was late to the party. The source doesn't look reliable, some random YouTuber's clipping of the Disney commercial. Can you find a tweet from the official Disney Channel Japan / Asia or a news article that confirms this? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:13, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
I have found the tweet from Disney Channel Asia, Please look at it and tell me if it's good. Tweet: https://twitter.com/disneychanneljp/status/1007422024686288898 — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 11:07, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, that would work. It appears to be verified on Twitter. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 12:10, 19 June 2018 (UTC)
CASSIOPEIA, per CSD "If this article does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice," I have attempted to fix it by replacing the offending summary with my own writeup so I removed the notice. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:03, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hi AngusWOOF - removed the warning tag as per our discussion in Monster High: Boo York, Boo York talk page. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:17, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
Good News For Hasbro
I hope you got good news, cause the show is now owned by Hasbro & Toei Animation. So I guess that Toei still has the rights for future adaptions with Hasbro by it's side, am I right, or is is Hasbro own the franchise now right? http://tokusatsunetwork.com/2017/05/saban-brands-gives-glitter-force-trademark-toei-animation/ https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-06-21/glitter-force-brand-rights-move-to-hasbro/.133174 — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 10:39, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

Hasbro+Toei Company/Animation=Glitter Force Series,Power Rangers Series, & other series.
I hope you got good news, cause the show is now owned by Hasbro & Toei Animation. So I guess that Toei still has the rights for future adaptions with Hasbro by it's side, am I right, or is is Hasbro own the franchise now right? Just like Power Rangers. What do you think? Is it good for a future adaption? http://tokusatsunetwork.com/2017/05/saban-brands-gives-glitter-force-trademark-toei-animation/ https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-06-21/glitter-force-brand-rights-move-to-hasbro/.133174 — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 16:36, 4 July 2018 (UTC)
- I don't know if Hasbro will produce any new dub series, but they own the branding for the two Glitter Force localizations and the Power Rangers as well. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:34, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
What's that mean? Can you give me an example and put that in Layman terms for me, or scientific terms for me, please? I'm very curious, please. Cause Toei has the trademark for the series, & Hasbro has the brandings for the series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 14:48, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- It means Toei owns the original version, Hasbro has the Glitter Force branding. So they get to control production and distribution of the videos as well as its related merchandise. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:52, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
True or false?
Do you think Miraculous the movie is a 2004 movie fake? If it is, reverse the fake. Check it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Miraculous:_Tales_of_Ladybug_%26_Cat_Noir_episodes — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 00:52, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
Zak Storm
I went on Zak Storm, and saw the episode list very different. Can you fix the problem with the episode guide? Here's the website: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zak_Storm If you believe me, fix it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 17:31, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- I fixed the table formatting problem, but the airdates and episodes still need to be arranged and sourced. Is the CHGRD a new season? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:18, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- I found the complete list of episodes from Télé Star [7] so I redid the lists and posted the complete set there. The French and other station debuts still need to be confirmed. The only ones I can confirm right now are the Discovery Family Channel ones since they are archived on The Futon Critic. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:04, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Part time hero Season 2 episodes.
I think this page needs more information about the stories, Season 1 & Season 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Penn_Zero:_Part-Time_Hero_episodes — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 19:51, 19 July 2018 (UTC)

Produce 48 singles
Please correct me if I'm wrong. The Korean version was a B-side to the Japan/International release, but it was the A-side to the Korean release (Mnet). Also, should the "Piano version" be listed too since it was released separately as a single? (iTunes + Mnet). Thank you for reading! Beyoncetan 2 (talk) 23:02, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
- The main song is "Nekkoya (Pick Me)" so that's pretty much the entry that should be listed. I've modified the chart on Produce 48 to indicate that neither version had charted on any significant chart at the moment, these are the equivalent of the Bubbling Under for Billboards. Sometimes the charting counts for all versions. AKB48 groups are notorious for creating several different single versions (Type-A, Type-B, Type-C), and they tend to chart under the same name, so I think that's what is going on for the Japanese chart. Not sure if Gaon does the same, but it seems like the Korean version is what charted on the Gaon since they listed the Korean name on there. Anyways, I added a track listing section for the singles article as well. I stuffed the Piano ver. on only the song article, as it has not charted. This is also consistent with how AKB48 singles have "off-vocal" tracks that do not chart separately. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:38, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- Beyoncetan 2, I just listened to the itunes link you provided and that "international release" lists the Korean version first and then the Japanese version as "Nekkoya (Pick Me)" AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 13:18, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- Spotify also has the two songs, and the Korean version is by far the more listened of the two. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:51, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Clare Grant edits
Thanks for the thanks! It seems increasingly clear that there has been a coordinated effort on the Team Unicorn and related pages to stuff them with promotional language and edits, and I see you've tangled with one of the users before over their attempts to include certain images. There are quite a few SPAs that have moved between these pages, as well as some IPs. I don't know if it's sockpuppetry or meatpuppetry, but it certainly smells like COI. I've dropped a COI warning on the talkpage for the HeroSurfer account, and if the edit warring on the Clare Grant page continues, I intend to ask an admin to take a look at it. Grandpallama (talk) 10:45, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- I've dealt mostly with the picture editing ones which were clearly COI. Hopefully they found some non-copyrighted pictures to use. But yeah the recent peacock language and original research has got to go. Thanks for helping scrub those articles. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:01, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
Lily Or Lillian
I think Lily is short for Lillian in Glitter Force? Am I right? It doesn't matter her name is Lily or Lillian. I think Lily & Lillian are the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PascalMuganyizi (talk • contribs) 19:15, 25 July 2018 (UTC)
- It does matter. The article should use common name as used in the English dub of the series. Lillian would have to be sourced if that is her full name. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 19:17, 25 July 2018 (UTC)

about Team SH
The source of member list is not official ,the name of that website is"应援会"which means unofficial fanclub, also there's no official source about full list from official now,There's possiblity for girls not sign the paper and give up the group.--Softyu (talk) 15:29, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- I've commented out the entire list until information has been confirmed. At this point it can only be said that 34 girls were selected and appeared on stage for the announcement. Is the Taishu.jp one I added also an unreliable source? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:32, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- I think the second source is not enough, because the website is an entertament magazine's online site, but the article is not from the magazine,It's original from the website. Also the only website with all 34 names are the two you offer (by yahoo.co.jp) and no CHINESE OFFICIAL source can be searched. For the girls' privacy,I think now write"There are 34 girls pass the final audition"is the best way until Official website or weibo post the memberlist--Softyu (talk) 15:42, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- That depends on whether the magazine website [8] is reliable then. It could very well be, but I agree we can wait until weibo or akb48-china posts a list. See my current version of the edit. Also the akb48-china website isn't working for me. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:46, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
- Well,I can't visit the website either(in China),it should be the website's problem.--Softyu (talk) 15:56, 26 July 2018 (UTC)

Noam Kaniel's Ladybug
I don't think that Noam Kaniel composed Code Lyoko He just composed music. What do you think?PascalMuganyizi (talk) 17:23, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
1. X-Men 2. W.I.T.C.H. 3. Fantastic Four 4. Monster Buster Club 5. Power Rangers 6. Digimon Fusion 7. Glitter Force/Glitter Force Doki Doki
I don't understand what your question is concerning Kaniel. You can check the Code Lyoko credits to see if he composed the music for the series or just the theme song. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:26, 26 July 2018 (UTC)
I've seen the credits, and Noam had performed the theme song.PascalMuganyizi (talk) 12:26, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- You don't need to specify that he only did theme songs on Code Lyoko. According to the Kitsune interview, he worked on Code Lyoko in some sort of music role. That is good enough for the section. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:21, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
HELP
Look at what Toddst1 is doing ... it started when I reverter his edit on Greg page... now he is removing the date of birth on all the Wiggles !! look at my talk Page Jena (talk) 16:05, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
- Can you dig up some news sources that show their birthdates? How about their biographies? Maybe ask Figureskatingfan to help source them? I'm sure there are some newspapers that will give the "age based on date" for now. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:34, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yah your right, we have to find some sources for the DOB on everything Jena (talk) 20:50, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
- Jena Fi, Figureskatingfan, Toddst1: I have posted some news article sources for their birthdays, mainly from newspaper writeups from Australian Associated Press news agencies. For Anthony, I used his official verified Twitter for his birth month and day (acceptable per WP:SELFPUB) and his birth year published by Trove for his book. [9] Birth year can also be found on other news sources and writeups. [10] [11] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:13, 31 July 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.12 30 July 2018
|
Hello AngusWOOF, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
- June backlog drive
Overall the June backlog drive was a success, reducing the last 3,000 or so to below 500. However, as expected, 90% of the patrolling was done by less than 10% of reviewers.
Since the drive closed, the backlog has begun to rise sharply again and is back up to nearly 1,400 already. Please help reduce this total and keep it from raising further by reviewing some articles each day.
- New technology, new rules
- New features are shortly going to be added to the Special:NewPagesFeed which include a list of drafts for review, OTRS flags for COPYVIO, and more granular filter preferences. More details can be found at this page.
- Probationary permissions: Now that PERM has been configured to allow expiry dates to all minor user rights, new NPR flag holders may sometimes be limited in the first instance to 6 months during which their work will be assessed for both quality and quantity of their reviews. This will allow admins to accord the right in borderline cases rather than make a flat out rejection.
- Current reviewers who have had the flag for longer than 6 months but have not used the permissions since they were granted will have the flag removed, but may still request to have it granted again in the future, subject to the same probationary period, if they wish to become an active reviewer.
- Editathons
- Editathons will continue through August. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
- The Signpost
- The next issue of the monthly magazine will be out soon. The newspaper is an excellent way to stay up to date with news and new developments between our newsletters. If you have special messages to be published, or if you would like to submit an article (one about NPR perhaps?), don't hesitate to contact the editorial team here.

Behind the Voice Actors-related
In my post on Kari Wahlgren's filmography, I had assumed that the website in question would've added her portrayal of Lady Octopus in Spider-Man by now. Hopefully, the people who work on that site will get to it at some point and you can re-add the entry. --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:02, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please wait until they have the checkmark with the entry leading to screen credits. Sometimes they add entries without a checkmark, which means they are not verified. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:07, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
Power Rangers RPM & Kamen Rider Dragon Knight
Does Power Rangers RPM look like A ABC Drama tv show, Because this has a lot of drama and a lot of NZ fights and stunts. But did it air alongside Kamen Rider Dragon Knight? Because 2009 was a Super Hero Time in America when Power Rangers & Kamen Rider came together on the USA Kamen Rider Dragon Knight: Los Angeles, California & Tokyo, Japan. Power Rangers RPM: Auckland, New Zealand & Tokyo, Japan. Was this the Super Hero Time of 2009 in America? Please tell me.PascalMuganyizi (talk) 02:19, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- Are you asking whether Power Rangers RPM was filmed in New Zealand? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:59, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Uh, not exactly, I'm asking about 2 Shows that are Drama themed, And is it like Super Hero Time in America of 2009? PascalMuganyizi (talk) 23:01, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
- Super Hero Time was a programming block in Japan. It wasn't in the US. It had Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. Super Sentai footage was used for the Power Rangers adaptation in the US. Are you asking whether Power Rangers PRM also used Kamen Rider footage? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:26, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
