Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bubble Eye, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Black moor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, I undid your merge as I disagree that List of space pirates should be merged. it should more likely be deleted for being non-notable listcruft. If you believe Space pirate is non-notable on its own, please initiate an AfD. The discussion that happened in 2014 was extremely slight.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:54, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

One article is a stub with only two citations, and the other is a list. One decent article could be created by merging the two together under a new title such as space piracy.

Well, 53zodiac, if you believe that, then there should be a discussion on the List of space pirates and Space pirate talk pages. I'll see if I can find anything to increase the size of the space pirates page and find some sources for those on the space pirates list. --Historyday01 (talk) 15:37, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I've noticed you've recently being trying to add to the scene (subculture) page that it originates in the U.K. U.S. and Australia. This obviously isn't a problem in and of itself, but I'm wondering why you cite [1] as a source for that. Because, that infomation isn't mentioned in it at any point from what a can tell. Hello, I just realised I deleted the map you added to the Transport in Cambridge page when I moved the content over to the Cambridgeshire Autonomous Metro page. Braves (Native Americans)

[edit]

Hello, I've responded to you on both the talk page of the article, and also at the talkpage of the Wikiproject [2]. The latter is probably the more constructive response, so do please read that before deciding what to do. It's clear there was a consensus among editors (including Native American editors, whose voices should be prioritised in these discussions) that an article that assumes a commonality of warrior traditions among all the Indigenous peoples of the USA was inaccurate, hence the redirect. However, it's also very clear that you and other editors put in a hell of a lot of work building up a well sourced article. My suggestion is to retain that info, but put it in a more accurately titled article. if you took that material and combined it with what is already in the Plains Indians article under "warfare," you'd have an excellent stand-along article on Plains Indians warfare or some such, which could then be linked to from the main Plains Indians articles and the host of articles around the American Indian Wars. If you agree, then I'll help out with the move. That way we avoid a fruitless edit war, etc. Does this sound good to you?Vizjim (talk) 06:53, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds good to me Vizjim. Plains Indian Warfare is a much better title. 53zodiac (talk) 17:17, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Great! I have work commitments today but will try to get to this tomorrow. Do you want to start the article? Vizjim (talk) 05:41, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I've written a very basic article, but feel free to make changes to it 53zodiac (talk) 17:35, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The use of Native American seems odd (Plains Native American Warfare) because they were not Americans and were fighting against the US government forces. Maybe you should use something like Indigenous.  oncamera  (talk page) 18:58, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
How about Warfare traditions among Indigenous peoples of the Great Plains and Canadian Prairies? Would need a few redirects to be created, but that would seem to cover all the bases.Vizjim (talk) 20:02, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I moved the page to Plains Indians Warfare (although I should have uncapitalized warfare) since its main article is Plains Indians and figure they should match. If we are going to change it to that title, perhaps Plains Indians should be moved too to Indigenous peoples of the Great Plains and Canadian Prairies.  oncamera  (talk page) 21:39, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at the move discussions, there has been more than one attempt to make that move happen for the PI article. However, there are considerably more Indigenous (and ally) editors on WP nowadays, so maybe another attempt should be made?Vizjim (talk) 07:35, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Countrycore requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi @53zodiac, thanks for your edit to Nene Valley Railway. I did notice however that you’re using an (almost) bare URL as your citation - please try and use templates like Cite Web when adding citations, as bare URLs are subject to link rot and provide very little information to the reader.
