What? No happy birthday?

What? No one wishes me a happy birthday except for my contacts? =( Might as well wish myself a happy birthday...

Thanks me! ZappaOMati 02:36, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Wayne A. Miller

The information appears from his biography published by BAK Middle School of the Arts, which you do list. He is one of the most respected high school band directors in the United States. I fully recognize the ding that WIkipedia gets from academics, but you take your zeal for their critique a bit too far. Please restore. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.254.57.118 (talk) 12:46, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

I'm not an admin, so don't ask me. Non-admins can't restore deleted pages. Also, the page was deleted per WP:BLPPROD, since no sourcees were added after ten days. ZappaOMati 14:40, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

Well I'm going to ask you. Find an Admin, and have them restore it. The biography was cited. You were in error. Please amend. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Theclevertwit (talkcontribs) 01:38, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

You had 10 days to remove the notice. Why didn't you? Also, don't ask me to do it, since it's your problem, not mine. Sorry. ZappaOMati 03:00, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

WikiProject American football

ZappaOMati, thanks for your recent work on List of players and coaches suspended by the NFL. Just an FYI, the scope of WikiProject American football is intended to cover basic concepts of the sport and articles related to entities that don't have their own more specific WikiProject. So, generally speaking NFL-specific articles should not be tagged for WikiProject American football. Jweiss11 (talk) 05:01, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Ah, now I get it. ZappaOMati 15:33, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi, ZappaOMatic, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron! We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles and content that have been nominated for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable, and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles and content to quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again — Welcome! Northamerica1000(talk) 03:50, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Can you please revisit Template:Did you know nominations/Concussions in American football so it can be moved along? --LauraHale (talk) 02:55, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Regarding my edits in Talk:2012 Aurora shooting...

Hi, sorry, I thought I was going about it the right way but you are right, there are no pages on African-Americans or white people in general lol! I don't know where I got that idea from =) I could have sworn that some years ago I noticed an African-Americans category attached to an African-American criminals page and I thought 'that is f***ing racist that it is on their pages but not white peoples'. I'm not African-American btw, but I do have a deep respect for their culture, I'm actually Jewish so it wasn't racism from my part =) Sorry to pester you =)124.176.222.19 (talk) 05:00, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Your Message re: Tony Hawk vandalism

I was actually trying to revert the page back to a version that didn't hhave vandalism as someone had deleted the picture and changed his age to over 100 years old. Sorry for any misunderstandings (p.s. I also forgot to sign in when editing) --Connelly90[AlbaGuBràth] (talk) 02:35, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the help on expanding the article and saving me a bit of time. If you don't mind, I cleaned up the bit that you got onto the article so far. Regards, — Moe ε 15:49, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the help again, but there are some things I changed with your Tannehill and Locker additions. The 2012-13 sort is a temporary sort I created for listing anticipated starters for the upcoming season (partially to reduce vandalism and such additions). Tannehill and Locker can be listed there with your reference, which I went ahead and did. Also something to note is that you were going to add August 20 as the date. That wouldn't necessarily be correct. While it was the day they were named starter, the date portion of the list is for when their current streak of starts begin, so it would be Week 1 as the start date (the Thursday, Sunday or Monday they play) we list. Thanks for the idea of the hidden comments for anticipated changes though, I'll go ahead and add other hidden comments too, since there are more. Regards, — Moe ε 22:47, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Adding WikiProjects to the talk page of Jessica Ghawi

Hi

Please explain what is about the WikiProjects you added to the talk page of Jessica ghawi thanks =) Fox2k11 (talk) 03:52, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Erm, that's where you're supposed to place them. ZappaOMati 04:04, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Sure Ok thanks does that mean a Article can be created? Fox2k11 (talk) 12:57, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Actually depends. If you look at the rating on the WikiProjects, then it says "NA", which just means that it is a redirect. ZappaOMati 13:50, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure if this is the proper action but I Updated my Stub and extended it a bit and Submitted it to WP:AFC

the stub resides on my User:Fox2k11/sandbox the background section is still a bit flat it could be extended by someone w/ more writing skills then myself Fox2k11 (talk) 18:28, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Carly Rose Sonenclar

I appreciate most of your edits, and you helped make the page much better.

I think you perhaps confused the vandal with me

The Carly Sonenclar part "Simon Cowell awarded her 4,833 yes's." was written by me, not the vandal (72.177.19.85)

I have no connections to the show or Carly. Carly or her representatives has never once contacted me by email, text, or in any other manner.

My view is this is relevant as I have never seen or heard Simon give such an endorsement before and I feel this is a relevant fact. I agree with the removal of the part that implied "Carly" put that in there. That is not true. I did.

I've been an editor on wikipedia for years, and took this one on as one to watch and make sure it is factual.

Please contact me if you think I have stated anything incorrectly... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaskemr (talkcontribs) 20:31, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

I didn't confuse you with the vandal. I removed the line because it was unreliably sourced to YouTube. ZappaOMati 17:14, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Chrome vanadium

I have removed your CSD template here. I was in the process of writing the content. Feel free to reinstate the tag if you feel it is still warranted. (Note that the page will probably move to Chromium-vanadium steel.) --Nouniquenames 18:23, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

You should at least WP:BEEF the first revision to avoid any trouble. ZappaOMati 18:25, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

2012 NFL referee lockout

The reason I want the 2012 NFL referee lockout indefinitely fully protected is because I noticed that I added content that is relevant to the topic and someone came in and deleted the content I added and I had to revert back to before the content I added was deleted, also the lockout is over and I don't think anymore information relating to the lockout will be announced. What do you mean by "You don't see the 2011 NFL lockout indefinitely fully protected"? If you mean that it is already semi-protected, but that is so only auto confirmed users can edit it. Sk8terguy27 (talk) 22:43, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

You could've placed a notice on their talk pages telling them not to do so, and new info could come to light. You never know what the media can do. When I said "You don't see the 2011 NFL lockout indefinitely fully protected", I was just pointing the page out as an example of fully protecting an article when a lockout is over. Besides, very little pages on Wikipedia get indefinitely full-protected. The only place I know that does this is Wikinews. ZappaOMati 22:50, 30 Sepotember 2012 (UTC)
Okay I noticed that the page is protected for a period of one week. After one week the page will be automatically unprotected, so that is find and I will place on notice on there talk pages them not to do so as you suggested. Sk8terguy27 (talk) 22:56, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

AFD

I noticed you closed this AFD[1]. You need to not close AFDs like that for a few reasons. The most obvious reason is that you had participated in it, and no one should close an AFD they participated even. Even striking your comment doesn't fix that. Second, the consensus wasn't to merge and you closed it early. This is terribly wrong to do. Additionally, User:Rhain1999 didn't do a merge. He might have copied over some text, but this is not the same. A complete hist/merge requires an admin (he isn't), and a manual merge requires attribution, none was given. Unless there are zero delete votes, or the consensus is very obviously to keep, then non-admins should not ever close discussions. What he did was copy over very little info, including a copyvio image, and redirect, which itself is improper to do during an AFD. So now I have to clean this up. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 15:52, 9 October 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, terribly sorry about that. ZappaOMati 21:46, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
It happens, we learn. I see you fixed the other, which is good. We just have to keep distance between what we do as editors, like voting, and what we do in an administrative task, like closing discusssion. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 09:35, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

Brady Quinn is expected to start in place of Cassel and Kirk Cousins may or may not start over Robert Griffin III. I've created biographies for them both at User:Moe Epsilon/NFL biographies so they can be placed on the article when it's time. Regards, — Moe ε 00:21, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for your revise on my edit at the AT&T Center Article =) --Fox2k11 (talk) 20:33, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi ZappaOMati Re - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Keenan This page should not be speedily deleted because... Johnny Keenan has a national banjo festival held yearly in his honor. People in the tradional and folk music scene both in Ireland and internationally still hold him and his memory in high regards 12 years after his death. I am a first time wiki writer and am probably not doing the article and Johnny much justice. Here is some footage of him performing on national tv in Ireland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sOWiCvV_NA and a link to his festival page http://www.johnnykeenan.com/about_01.htm. Johnny's brother Paddy Keenan is also on wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sue.sue808 (talkcontribs) 21:20, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Electronic Arts on Wikipedia? Sounds interesting!

Hallo there ZappaOMati. Thanks for removing a duplicate on the "You (Time Person of the Year)" article. :) Maurice Carbonaro (talk) 10:48, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Hope you don't mind

I was watching the new pages and saw that you had created one for the 97 game. I opened it to mark it as patrolled and noticed in the navbox that 98 did not have a page. It seemed like an easy page to create, so I did. Hope you don't mind me stealing your page. AutomaticStrikeout 00:54, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello, you recently voted on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/C++ grammar. Could you have a look at the comments left after your vote and perhaps reconsider your position or give a stronger rationale to keep this article? Cheers, —Ruud 21:01, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

HeadMouse sockpuppetry

I've already reported the new sock to SPI, but since the previous case had been closed, there hasn't been an update to restore it to the SPI queue. I messaged the blocking admin to ask them for advice and suggestions. And no, I'm not an admin myself, and even if I was, I don't think I can do anything properly because I'm already involved with this editor. --McDoobAU93 00:26, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

Mario Wreck-It Ralph

Hey, you just fixed my edit on Mario, and told me I needed a reliable source. I don't know how to put reliable sources, but I saw Wreck-It Ralph twice, and Mario was mentioned by Fix-It Felix Jr., who, upon hearing a knock on his door, said, "Must be Mario. Fashionably late, per usual." I know it's not important, but I just thought it would be interesting to put on Mario's page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SammyDude1000 (talkcontribs) 00:11, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

Invite

Hi! I note that you added yourself to the names of editors interested in working on the Wikipedia:WikiProject California/San Francisco Bay Area task force. I have been working on it, and it is now fairly up to date (all articles assessed and rated, many articles added, categories fleshed out, and the Portal is no longer moribund). I also note that you are an active editor, but have not focussed on the SFBA recently. I want to welcome you to contribute to the task force in any way you might. There will be cookies :(') Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:56, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

Howdy! I'm getting in contact with those members of WikiProject Skateboarding who seem to have been recently active on Wikipedia generally.

The project seems to have been fairly inactive over the last year or so and I was wondering if anyone in particular would have any interest in helping me "re-activate" it?

If you still have an interest in the Project and/or an interest in a bit of a Project-related editing drive, let me know.

What do you have against me really and what is it you £don't like about me? I feel like we got off and the wrong track and stepped on each ores foot. How about we settle an agreement between each other and work out are differences and become the best friends how about that. Oh yeah about. Editor Review

I am currently cleaning up the backlog over at Editor Review and I found this in the backlog. As it is no longer posted on the main page at Editor Review, I was wondering if I should remove it from the backlogs and put it to rest or if I should repost it for community review. I'm not your "bro" -- but I want to know why did you remove my addition to the Samantha Gordon information?

I added information about the growing interest in Samantha Gordon. It happens to be some work that i have done to try to get General Mills to actually make the Samantha Gordon Wheaties box.

Explain to me exactly what your problem is with this additional information?

Thank you in advance -- Dr. Brenda Pitts, Professor — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oneamazon (talkcontribs) 01:39, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

I reverted your edit because the Wheaties box was already mentioned in the page, and your addition is sourced to a Facebook page. See here: WP:FACEBOOK. If the Facebook is owned by Samantha herself, or if she acknowledged it, then it'd work, but since it's a fanpage, it is not allowed. ZappaOMati 01:56, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

I see your note. However, I said in my added edit that Samantha Gordon herself posted on and endorsed the Facebook page. Does that not fall into the okay category??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Oneamazon (talkcontribs) 02:13, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Can you provide the source that stated that she endorsed the page? Because looking at these two potential accounts of her (though the former is the official one), I can't find any mention of her endorsing this page. Besides, can you provide a RELIABLE soruce (like ESPN, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, etc.) that mentions the page? Also, start signing your comments and stop marking your edits as minor of they really aren't. ZappaOMati 02:23, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Packers Seahawks article

The article on the packers Seahawks game is factually incorrect. The facts are automatically neutral, so your claim that correcting the article is not neutral makes no sense. Watch film of the play and learn football signals and you will see that there was no touchback signal. If you can't handle being neutral and looking into the facts then leave the wiki pages alone.

65.28.42.200 (talk) 16:19, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

I reverted your edits not because there was a timeout, not a touchback, but because you stated that players "unprofessionally" commented about the game, which is not neutral. ZappaOMati 18:16, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

missing edit history

FYI, Bagumba added it while logged out (see the end of the first thread here) and the removed edit history. however, I don't think there is any harm with just removing it entirely given the controversy over the "notification". Frietjes (talk) 00:22, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Ah, I wouldn't know, since I don't know his IP. ZappaOMati 00:24, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
if you look at Coren's "Redact accidental IP reveal" edit, the edit just before that was the logged-out edit. the history has been removed that included the IP address. Frietjes (talk) 00:51, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
I have seen redacted edits before, I'm just saying that I didn't know that it was Bagumba in particular. ZappaOMati 01:03, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

Honey Bears

We own the rights of the name "Chicago Honey Bear Dancers" and take pride in what we have accomplished over the past 28 years. Please see our website www.ChicagoHoneyBearDancers.com. This is what we are "up to now". Please leave what I have added to the page. This is not advertisement. You have listed my husbands name and I further elaborated the exact truth of what we are doing now. What was said previous was not all completely accurate. Thanks! Feel free to contact me through our website with any further questions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.95.100 (talk) 01:48, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Who's your husband? Also, if you would like to include the dance group, add it in the Chicago Honey Bears#Attempted revivals section, or create a new section for it. It may not be advertising, but it reads like it. Also, reading WP:COI could be an option. ZappaOMati 03:21, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Greg Schwartz....I added it back into the "Attempted Revival" even though I wouldn't say this was an "attempt". We have been around for 28 Years. Can you add a separate section called...."What the Honey Bears have been up to for the past 28 years"? I would appreciate it. Thanks. 67.167.95.100 (talk) 20:27, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

I apologize but, the section still sounds like advertising, and some peacock words do exist. Also, the section you requested makes it sound more like advertising. ZappaOMati 22:14, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
Please don't answer here, BTW, and don't add the content until a consensus has come on Talk:Chicago Honey Bears. ZappaOMati 22:19, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

TAFI

Hello,
In the past few days, Today's Articles for Improvement has gone through many changes.

  • We have modified the process for adding Nominations, which now uses a template/table format and requires only 3 supports for an article to be selected.
  • There is now a Holding Area, where articles are kept for discussion before being selected for a particular date.
  • The TAFI schedule now involves adding 10 articles weekly, chosen from a variety of topics.
  • We now have an Accomplishments page where we will be highlighting our older TAFI articles which have now become quality articles on the Wikipedia.

The Project is almost ready to hit the Main Page, where it will be occupying a section just below "Did you Know" section. Three article from the weekly batch of 7 will be displayed randomly at the main page, the format of which can be seen at the Main Page sandbox. There is also an ongoing discussion at the Main page talk over the final details before we can go forward with the Main Page.

If you have any ideas to discuss with everyone else, please visit the TAFI Talk Page and join in on the ongoing discussions there. You are also invited to add new nominations, and comment and suport on the current ones at the Nominations page. You can also help by helping in the discussions at the Holding Area.

Above all, please do not forget to improve our current Today's Articles for Improvement

Thank you and hoping to have some productive work from you at the Project,
TheOriginalSoni (talk) 12:14, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
(From the TAFI team)

Since the article's name was similar to Taproot (band), I've redirected it, and I've declined your speedy deletion tag as a result. hmssolent\Let's convene My patrols

Hm, never heard of the band, and I thought is was a made-up garage band of the creator, so I A7'd it. ZappaOMati 03:20, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, I've had similar suspicions too. That was at least, until I performed a G-search and was shown the results for Taproot, only then did I realise that "Taperoot" was a typo of the latter. hmssolent\Let's convene My patrols 03:45, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Stay of execution

It's an album by Blade, a UK based rapper (as I found on a quick Google search - never heard of him before). Whether or not it is notable, I couldn't say. Rap is very definitely not my scene. But it's not an A9 case, sorry. I've added a lead sentence, but that isn't to be taken as an endorsement of the article's right to life. Peridon (talk) 19:00, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

It's fine. I thought the artist was the DJ Grazhoppa guy. Why are all my recent declined CSDs all related to music, I don't know. ZappaOMati 19:02, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
They can be tricky. With A9, do a search first. If there's a black typed name or a red link, check in a Wiki search in case there's an article. If there's a blue link, check there's a band at the other end - example to remember Oasis... Some people hopefully put link brackets on anything in sight. And watch out for tpoys - some of our visiting editors can't even check the spelling of the name of their own band... Peridon (talk) 19:47, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
So is "tpoys" supposed to be "typos" or as is? =P ZappaOMati 19:50, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
Should be 'topsy'... 8-) Peridon (talk) 20:21, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi Zappa! In instances like Kristi Celina Thompson, there is no need to to PROD the article if it is already clearly CSD-worthy. Just letting you know, and happy editing, —Theopolisme (talk) 23:51, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Sure. I just BLPPROD'd because I thought the "model" part established at least a very small amount of notability. Regardless, the page does say that she is rising, so WP:TOOSOON may apply. Ah well. I think I'm gonna sit out NPPing for a while anyway, since I'm getting kinda stressed of doing so, as you can see above. ZappaOMati 23:54, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, I am interested in running, but not exactly "at this time" in particular. I still don't think I'm too ready for ensuing frustration from an RfA and post-nom, but thanks for asking anyway. ZappaOMati 21:33, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Ok, you can get a two-month reprieve AutomaticStrikeout  ?  02:21, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
You do realize he's 14, right? Justin is not ready for adminship yet. For one, Wikipedia is not a chat forum and he uses his user page history to use profane language and let people into his life. Yes, I'm 13 too and life is frustrating, but people don't need to know about it.Yes, I'm biased, but it's a shame that Zappa is a productive contributor but hides the fact that he's a teenager. Bye. ~~JHUbal27\
I wouldn't say I'm letting folks into my life, I just tend to have a short temper if frustration gets too high. I try to keep things to myself, which is why I end up resorting to my userpage. Guess that wasn't exactly the smartest idea after all, who knew that people were actually watching me? I also wouldn't say I'm hiding the fact that I'm a teen, I can act mature, but as I said, I sometimes can have a pretty bad temper at times; not to the point where I say "fuck you" at an editor, because I wouldn't, but as in I can get mad off the internet pretty easily. Also, at times, you can't exactly blame me for my issues, especially being a sports fan and having to deal with crap like this. ZappaOMati 04:13, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Anyway... I'm archiving this, so if you want to say anything regarding this, start a new section. ZappaOMati 04:18, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

I just posted an external link on Sharrif Floyd and you took it off. It is a bio and profile for Sharrif Floyd. This information is not on your "Website"! Your just like Craigslist!!! Your on a "Power Trip"!!! There is nothing wrong with my link or "inappropriate"!!! It is providing additional information on Sharrif Floyd without taking up so much room on your precious site "Bro"!!! Carlos M. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sfgiants101 (talkcontribs) 22:49, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

1. I don't have a website. 2. Wikipedia's not "my site". 3. Dude, I'm not on a power trip. 3. Read WP:ELNO. Brad Wing's page, which you added, is called a "fanpage", which ELNO states is not permitted. As for the other pages, you call them "profiles/bios", but official sites (NFL.com, CBS Sports, team websites, the player's own sites) should be used. ZappaOMati 22:59, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Power Trip!!!

There's no difference from my website, than CBSSports.com and any other sports network. I am putting together a mock draft as well. As far, as the other "Fan Pages", they were a last minute thing. They're all going to be official profile's and bio's of the player's. I'm still building more profile's of other player's. Carlos M. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sfgiants101 (talkcontribs) 20:52, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Except CBSSports.com is a reliable source, which can be trusted on by others. Also, looking at the Sharrif Floyd page you placed, the lone story appears to just be taken from NFL.com's entry. I'm not saying that you can't, but I'm rather concerned about a possible copyright violation by copy/pasting an NFL.com source into your site. Besides, I'm assuming that you're going to add stats to the bios. It'd be rather redundant to provide them if they're already provided to a reliable source like NFL.com or CBSSports.com. Finally, read WP:ELNO a little more, since the pages are what I assume "personal web pages", as you created them. They shouldn't be provided as an external link unless written by a recognized authority, such as a professional newspaper writer or league reporter. ZappaOMati 21:34, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Not sure what lead you to believe that Zack Bowman is divorced. We have been together since 2005 and happily married since 2009. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.168.213.57 (talk) 17:59, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

Actually, I just combined it with a sentence added in the section that said "split and divorced 2012", which I then merged into the prior sentence. Look here. If you look at the bottom of the section before my edit, it said "split and divorced 2012", which I simply merged. I added a {{Citation needed}} template, but I guess that didn't suffice. WP:FOOD Needs You!

Hi there ZappaOMati! I've noticed you have yourself listed as a member of the Food and Drink Wikiproject. Unfortunately it looks like the project has been slowly sliding into inactivity except for a couple of people. That makes me a sad potato, and nobody likes a sad potato amirite?

If you'd like to turn my frown upside down, can you do two small things?

First off, go here and add {{Tick}} (checkY) next to your name if you're still part of the project.

Second, go to the project talkpage and participate in a discussion about how to make the project more active, and how to go about making articles in our area of interest a lot better.

You don't want to make me cry, do you? Potatoes have a lot of eyes you know. So come on, join in! :)

Hello Zappa. Just a pointer...

If you can't understand this common American idiom then perhaps you shouldn't be editing Wikipedia. At any rate, why are you monitoring my talk page, stalker? — Preceding unsigned comment added by THC Loadee (talkcontribs) 18:19, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

I obviously understand it, it was sarcasm. Speaking of which, I monitor talk pages of some editors with issues if I have to, especially after this remark you made on one of my friend's talk page, so I decided to keep my eyes on you for any suspicious activity. If you're going to complain about that being from last year, take note that I rarely clean up my watchlist. ZappaOMati 19:09, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
I see. So are you a dogmatic religious zealot, like your friend appears to be? Your friend omitted sourced material. Is Wikipedia only edited by religious fundamentalists? You know they have another wiki encyclopedia for those with an extra-religious persuasion. It's called Conservapedia. Also, what "issues" are you referring to and why do you "have to"? Is someone forcing you to do things against your will? Do you have a mental condition that compels you act against your own volition? Does this have something to do with your religious beliefs?THC Loadee 21:07, 28 May 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by THC Loadee (talkcontribs)
Actually, I'm taking no sides, as I'm not a religious guy. I am doing this as you placed a personal attack on ASO by asking him if he's smoking the Shroud of Turin, followed by what I assume is a threat to "appear in many forms" if you get banned. ZappaOMati 22:55, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
You never answered my questions. Why are you defending a "editor" who has religious bias? An entry in the Sandy Hook article contained a quote from a congressman/senator that Christianity was not a violent religion. This was obviously and patently false. I added an opposing statement backed up by verifiable sources that indeed over the past 1500 years Christianity has been a major cause of violence around the world. My edit was removed by your friend. Why is that? Why would someone remove embarrassing truths? I don't really care why. If your friend had left the addition alone all would be well, instead he chose to enforce his own religious opinions over that of history. Shame on him for attempting to erase history. Shame on you for blindly supporting him. THC Loadee 20:12, 29 May 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by THC Loadee (talkcontribs)

THC, I am Go Phightins! and I wanted to drop by to say a few words. I would strongly advise you to immediately tone it down several notches. Though all Wikipedians have a different definition of civility, I would have a hard time thinking of even one of the most lenient who would allow your comments above. Having worked with Zappa, Automatic, MaterialScientist, who recently warned you on your talk page about your conduct, and have seen Mifter around, who blocked you the first time. What AutomaticStrikeout did was conform to one of our core policies, the one that states we write from a neutral point of view. It is important to note that a neutral point of view does not mean we cannot speak negatively on the subject, it means that when we do, we must cite sources copiously and rely on what they say, not our personal interpretations and synthesis of what they say. If your user page is accurate regarding post-secondary education, than I have no doubt you are familiar with policies that may occasionally seem wonky to you, but know that even if you don't agree with them, the best way to get them changed is not to abuse them and abuse others in the process. Should you have any concerns or problems, many editors are always available to provide personal assistance, myself being one of them, but I would implore you to tone down your interactions with others and comment on content, not contributors. Thank you very much. Sincerest regards, Go Phightins! 20:24, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Okay, here's question to user. Super Bowl XLVII discussion.

If I played the Alicia Keys Super Bowl XLVII national anthem, listening throughout to clock in the total running time of this performance, could then this be a reliable source? When I observed Keys whole performance, I estimated it was for two minutes and thirty-eight seconds. I wish I could find the old record to this feat. Some public sources say this record had been established by Keys. This is up to you if this qualifies as a source for editing in or leaving out. I listened through Keys performance and this running time should be a reliable source because I have listened to it and measured the length of this performance. Thanks for the notice and your one minute of reading the reply. --74.60.65.124 (talk) 20:44, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

I think just listening to it may end up violating Wikipedia's policy on original research. If you can find the sources for past records and Key's record, and provide them, I'll probably let it be in. ZappaOMati 22:16, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

I might go bowling, maybe go to an amusement park, and a concert. Can't wait for school to end. ~~JHUbal27 03:22, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

For my graduation, then I'm wearing a cheap gown that I ordered from the school, though I still have to wear something inside, or people are gonna see my nipples through the fiber. Over the summer, I have to take swimming lessons and this Algebra 2 learning program. But besides those, I do plan to head down to SoCal's Universal Studios and Magic Mountain, along with working out over the summer with my friend, per his suggestion to become buff and join the wrestling team. Oops, two small things with lockout article

Hi again, Zappa—my apologies for the late ask, but I just noticed that the final line of the reaction section in the lockout article, regarding TJ Lang's response, is duplicated—can you remove the extra line? Also, it seems to me that the line about Sitton's tweet should come out—it's just added profanity, and was nowhere near as noteworthy as Lang's tweet. Did you disagree, or was this a simple oversight? Cheers, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 16:03, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

I removed the duplicate Lang suggestion. I didn't remove Sitton's tweet, since I don't really know if it's needed or not. ZappaOMati 02:50, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for resolving the duplication. As I didn't fully explain on the other page, the Sitton tweet is really about the contested catch itself and Sitton's opinion of Tate, not the referees, and so isn't really relevant to the lockout itself. And though Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED, the profanity does make it seem more frivolous, and I don't think it's a big stretch to say its inclusion is not exactly encyclopedic. Thoughts? Me again

Hey Justin! My eighth graduation is today. Wish me luck and I hope I don't embarrass myself in front of a bunch of hot girls in dresses. As long as I got my suit and tie, Imma leave it all on the floor tonight. Baby got fixed up to the nines, let me show you a few things. I act like this is prom lol. Anyway, have fun at your ceremony. ~~JHUbal27 11:01, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Good luck man! Mine's not until tomorrow, but I still gotta deal with practice today for the ceremony. ZappaOMati 13:35, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Tony Hawk at WH

DearZappa,

Please do not rip my post down. TH is the first person who has skated on white house grounds. This is very important information for anyone who it interested in him or interviewing him.

Thank you, if you want to talk about it please email me. Thank you! Charlie — Preceding unsigned comment added by Charliesamuelswiki (talkcontribs) 16:37, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

I said that it was unsourced as well. Since you provided a reliable source, I will keep it in, though I don't think it warrants its own section, so I placed it within Tony Hawk#Retirement from the sport. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati's alternate account) 17:39, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi and Thanks

Hi Zappa! Nice to meet you an thanks for reviewing my article.

Hang in there with the teeth
I've been there. It'll get better; I promise! Go Phightins! 01:41, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
I hope so, since I already accidentally broke my first 4 bands due to opening my mouth too wide from laughing at funny videos. ZappaOMati 03:28, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

racism

You are very correct in pointing out wikipedia guidelines about other crap exists. But as WP grows, it MUST have consistency or it will start to act like racists do, treating whites one way and blacks another way. We must try to make WP have across the board standards in the long run. This is fair and sensible. Think about it. Bamler2 (talk) 16:58, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

Using racism as an analogy isn't a good idea at all. Yes, WP should have consistency, but using poor arguments to gain it will not suffice. NFLisAwesome (ZappaOMati's alternate account) 18:13, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

Help with NFLPA Game?

Hey Zappa, hope you're well. I'm wondering if you might be able to help me out with another football-related article: NFLPA Game. As discussed at WP:NFL and on Talk:NFLPA Game, the article is problematic in that it confuses two different events (the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and the Texas vs The Nation game) and discusses them as if they're the same. I've prepared a draft of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl article, along with a stub for the Texas vs The Nation game and put both in my userspace.

Would you be able to help get this sorted out? Cheers, WWB Too (Talk · COI) 19:43, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

High school

Hey man! Yeah, I had to go to summer school since my math grades aren't all that great (C), but regardless, I am pretty excited for high school, I guess. no, I don't have a yearbook, sadly, since I have to go online to order it and I don't have a freaking PayPal for it. I also kinda Understand your pain about your crush going to another high school. For me, all 4 girls I had a crush on (1 in elementary, other 3 in middle school) are going to the same high school, which would've been great if it was the high school I'm attending. As for your story, that's gotta be pretty awkward, but I am envious of you right now, since you at least had one "intimate" experience with a girl, when I'd be lucky to have just one. As for the concert, it wasn't exactly a "concert" in which a popular rock band or so performs; it was a school concert: I was in Orchestra, so I had to go perform in it. Too bad Simple Plan isn't having any performances in the area I live in; all their upcoming performances are in Canada/Pennsylvania according to this. ZappaOMati 14:03, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
I had 1 crush in elementary and 2 in middle school. Me and my boy used to joke about in 8th grade that in 3rd grade, I "played" with my elementary crush in the park down the "bumpy slide". Oh well. The one thing I forgot to say is good luck in high school! I'm gonna take a random quote from my yearbook. "Have a great summer, you're really smart and will go far." Bye. ~~JHUbal27 18:42, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
