The result of the move request was: No consensus to move. But anyone who wants to create a redirect from one or more of the suggested alternatives should feel free to do so. EdJohnston (talk) 03:17, 24 December 2013 (UTC)
Template:Game guide → Template:Cleanup-game – Must be consistent with other templates, like template:cleanup-book. Relisted Armbrust The Homunculus 15:58, 22 November 2013 (UTC) George Ho (talk) 17:09, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose: Is there really such a rule that all cleanup templates must begin with "cleanup-"? Looking over all the ones listed on WP:TC, several do not, like {{In-universe}}, {{Debate}}, {{editorial}}, {{advert}} and {{essay-like}}. They, like {{game guide}}, are named after what an article should not be. Zzyzx11 (talk) 16:52, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- There is no such rule, but I still think the proposal is a good one, just without the dash, which I fail to understand. Template:Cleanup game seems fine to me. Debresser (talk) 22:08, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- Support as long as a redirect is left behind. I think all cleanup templates should be prepended by "cleanup" -- 65.94.78.70 (talk) 09:07, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose Template names rarely matter much, but moving this one would obscure its usage, which is for video game articles written like game guides or walkthroughs. There would probably be no harm in establishing the alternatives as redirects, however. --BDD (talk) 00:38, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
- The last editor is correct, and I would oppose the move as proposed. But Template:Cleanup game guide would not have this problem, and I think that version gathers in it all the good points raised in this discussion. Debresser (talk) 03:22, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
- Support I wouldn't say it should be in line with other templates, but having a template on cleaning up video game articles called 'game guide' is confusing. A template for actual game guides would be more appropriate for such a title. Having the 'clean up' part communicates more clearly what the template is for. --Soetermans.
