The Will to Make
[edit]I don't want to create an identity on this site, so someone please fix this. At the beginning of the article, "Der Wille zur Macht" is said to be literally translated as "The Will to Power." This is not so. The literal translation is "The Will to Make." IN CONTEXT, it's "The Will to Power."

[edit]Just noting here that the voice actors will have to leave before this article is nominated as GAC again. Is there a list of characters episode somewhere? It would be more natural there.--SidiLemine 15:07, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:XenoBattle1.jpg
[edit]Image:XenoBattle1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Censorship
[edit]Another scene with sexual connotations was also cut.
Which scene? The other points are expanded upon a bit more than this. -masa ♫ 17:15, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well, in the scene where Albedo tries to extract the Y-Data from MOMO, he "penetrates" her stomach with his hand, which he kinda enjoys...^^ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.174.249.59 (talk) 19:08, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Huh, that sounds more like a sadistic pleasure than anything sexual to me, but I guess you could maybe argue that that's a sexual paraphilia. I'm unconvinced, but not enough to edit it... -masa ♫ 20:25, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
But it's the only scene aside from Albedo's "knife play" which has been heavily modified for the NA release, so it should be notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.174.241.65 (talk) 19:07, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not questioning that, just whether it was censored due to "sexual connotations". -masa ♫ 00:10, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Review
[edit]- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- IGN, GameSpot, GameSpy, RPGamer and Eurogamer should all be italicized, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Titles#Major_works.
- The English voice cast also received mixed to positive comments from reviewers. "Mixed-to-positive" is considered an odd phrase that should be avoided, per VG article guidelines. I'd also expand upon what critics praised/criticized about the English voice cast.
- Both Episode I and Episode II were remade for the Nintendo DS as Xenosaga I & II. "Re-imagined" might be a better phrase here, since this wasn't actually a full remake.
