Controversy section
[edit]I don't how you might want to work this in: "As reported by the Daily News, a Take-Two spokesman has commented that the company “has a valid third-party license for the rights to use Roger Hill's likeness and the character of Cyrus in The Warriors video game and related marketing materials”." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shamharush (talk • contribs) 14:43, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
I don't feel that it's really important to remember what Jack Thompson says. I say the Controversy section should either be edited or removed. Nobody is going to care about what he said even six months from now. It's different when talking about GTA: San Andreas since the game rating was changed, but here it isn't going to happen since it isn't the blockbuster that GTA games are.

If the controversy section is kept, we shouldn't include Jack Thompson's opinions on the game. It's one thing to include an organization's opinion, but Jack Thompson is nothing but a sensationalist and pathological liar.--Vercalos 01:59, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
All the more reason it should be kept. In a year or so, after his entire "reputation" has gone down the drain and he kills himself, people are going to be looking back at all the silly things he said, for a good laugh to share with their family and friends.--69.37.44.228 19:51, 16 December 2005 (UTC) i enjoy reading thompsons quotes because it amuses me greatly him saying bully let you rape teachers and kill students, priceless how has south park, family guy,or the daily show not picked on him yet? About Cleon's death, there should be a note put in brackets that show that in the game it is never proven that he is killed but just shows him being attacked. He could have been knocked out and captured by the Riffs.--Phytos 01:57:13, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
If you play through the mini game, Cleon comes back as a ghost. That's why he and Fox are considered dead. - JC234 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JC234 (talk • contribs) 21:39, 5 September 2006. so what the mini game also shows chatter box alive and fox is obviously dead cleon was probably caught by the cops but he probably is dead.63.164.225.201 01:12, 17 May 2007 (UTC)medayugiohman

Game Score
[edit]Does anyone know the names of the scores that play during the game as well as the loading sequences? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RVDDP2501 (talk • contribs) 15:52, 13 October 2006.
Add more to Reception section
[edit]All it says is that one of the original actors in the movie liked the game. Either there should be a list of how different gaming publications and sites rated it or the whole section should be removed since it seems unnecessary. Since the statement that one of the original actors liked the game does not have a citation, I think the section should be removed. I would have done it myself, but I don't want to anger anyone. What do you think should happen? --Ultimo Camdawg 00:06, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Level by level summaries
[edit]Who put all the summaries in those boxes? It's ugly and annoying. Gladrius 06:25, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:The Warriors for PSP boxart.jpg
[edit]Image:The Warriors for PSP boxart.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Levels
[edit]I did all the levels(before the meeting) description while in my other wikipedia acount i worked really hard on that and now i'm asking someone to continue the job by doing flashback missions or after the meeting levels —Preceding unsigned comment added by MightySaiyan (talk • contribs) 15:10, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Rivalries
[edit]Who got information on the rivalry between The Panzers and The Baseball Furies, the rivalry between The Hi-Hats and The Electric Eliminators, and the rivalry between The Destroyers and The Satan's Mothers? I would like to know. The King Gemini (talk) 14:21, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I don't know about the Panzers and the Baseball Furies, but the Electric Eliminators are one of the gangs lured to the competition, so it's like that they have problems with the Hi-hats. I imagine the rivalry is presumed between The Destroyers and The Satan's Mothers because of the drug deal, but a line of dialog in the game says that the Mothers still do deals with the Destroyers despite that mission.--24.255.171.220 (talk) 16:06, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Problems with tone
[edit]This article needs a major rewrite to comply with the standards of wikipedia. I already spruced up the character profiles, but there's a lot of work left to be done.--24.255.171.220 (talk) 16:06, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Gangs
[edit]I made modifications to the gangs section. First, I replaced all instances of "Overlord" with "Warlord" as that's the term used in the game. For Warchief, I got the impression that a warchief was second in command, and any member who's particularly tough is labled a lieutenant. Since there are only three confirmed second-in-commands in the game, I created a new entry for lieutenants and placed most of the former warchiefs there.
The problem with ranking characters is that many high-ups aren't specifically said to be leaders, warchiefs or whatever. It's easy to assume that the biggest member is automatically in charge, but different gangs would have different standards, and we already have an in-game example where the biggest member wasn't a leader in regards to the Satan's Mothers. Throughout the game, Diego/Vargas and Big Moe are mentioned several times, but they are never referred to as the leaders of their gangs, even though most leaders are identified right off the bat. Because of these issues, for each character who isn't specifically said to hold a certain position in the gang, I labled them "presumed". Finally, I removed assumed rivalries and put in another one, between the Savage Huns and Satan's Mothers. IIRC, this is only mentioned in additional lines of dialog that you can only hear if you listen to the radio and NPC chatter long enough.--24.255.171.220 (talk) 16:34, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Comparison of Game and Movie
[edit]This needs to be expanded to include comparison to Xenophon's Anabasis, and the original novel The Warriors (novel). I'll try to tackle this over the next few days.--Digitalmischief (talk) 07:16, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
Dont bother, someone removed it. Portillo (talk) 07:27, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Birdie "Leader" of the Turnbull AC's ?
[edit]Far as I know, he was mentioned as being a "liutenant". --201.230.126.164 (talk) 22:46, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
The Hangout
[edit]I have added a section to the page about the Hangout because I feel that it is one of the main things featured in the game - God of Pants (30th of June, 2009)

Vest logo
[edit]Should the controversy section be brought back to explain why the vest logo was changed from the movie version due to being too similar to the Hell's Angels colors? The movie is a skull with wings and the video game has a cobra with flames. IRMacGuyver (talk) 08:24, 11 March 2018 (UTC)

Programmers
[edit]Stop reverting edits to the programmer credits. Kevin Hoare did not program a AAA Rockstar game by himself. He was/is the studio head of Rockstar Toronto.
