Adult animated?
[edit]I've seen several sources call it adult animated and Gooseworx herself admits that older teens and adults were the target audience.
Should we put that in the lead? Turtletennisfogwheat (talk) 10:36, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- The series does contain several adult themes such as profanity, existential dread, etc, therefore I would say we should. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 13:39, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Well, the profanity is censored and existential dread is something found in something like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and that's a kids film. So I wouldn't necessarily use those as reasons to call it "adult animated". Goose and GLITCH did clarify however that older audiences like teens and adults were the target demographic. So there's our proof. Turtletennisfogwheat (talk) 02:19, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- We agree this show isn't intended for young children, but is it adult animation if teens are included in the target audience? The article itself says it does on occasion. User:SubZeroSilver (talk) 12:06, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- It is worth noting that the definition for adult animation presented in the Wikipedia article for "Adult animation" itself is "any type of animated motion work that is catered specifically to adult interests and is mainly targeted and marketed towards adults and adolescents".
- But even given this, it is also worth noting is that Gooseworx, the show's creator, has described show's main target demographic as being "people in their 20s", without mention of teens. Further, news sources like The Mary Sue do directly label the series using the term "adult animation". — Jamie Eilat (talk) 13:30, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- An update to this: the listing for The Amazing Digital Circus on Netflix directly labels the series as adult animation. If the sources mentioned in my previous reply didn't already settle the question of it being adult animation, then this, I think, surely does settle it. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 09:44, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- You know, SubZeroSilver, a lot of adult sitcoms have the rating TV14, so I wouldn't question it. 2603:6010:8B00:44FF:39F4:CB1C:9078:5E31 (talk) 16:09, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- Its somewhat common for an adult sitcom to be TV14 but usually its TVMA. 47.156.50.64 (talk) 23:37, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Just because its intended towards older teens doesnt mean its adult animation. Go on netflix and look at the rating. Its TVPG for a reason. 47.156.50.64 (talk) 23:44, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- As previously pointed out, the series is directly labeled on Netflix as being "Adult Animation"; this is (or at least, ought to be), a fairly settled topic. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 00:07, 2 November 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed. Honestly i can't see why someone would call it "Adult Animation" as theres practically no taboo matter. 47.156.50.64 (talk) 23:51, 20 October 2024 (UTC)

- I wouldnt say its an "adult animation" because the profanity is censored and there is not that much taboo matter. Not to mention young people (gen z & alpha) do comprimise the vast majority of its fanbase despite gooseworx targeting it towards older people. The rating is generally debated between TV-PG and PG, but i could see someone rating it TV-14 but not TV-MA or higher. 47.156.50.64 (talk) 23:41, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
I am sorry but this is NOT adult animation
[edit]The show's official website literally says it is for "ages 13-24", why does it say adult animation BombCraft8 (talk) (contributions) 14:42, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- Wait I did not see the previous discussion BombCraft8 (talk) (contributions) 14:43, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
But 13 years people Still kids 179.0.49.80 (talk) 21:11, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- This is untrue; according to the article on Adolescence, teenagerhood can start at the age of 10 at the earliest. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 21:17, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
- Read that again, very slowly BombCraft8 (talk) (contributions) 02:15, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
- Their reply isn't ignorant, though this section is getting off-topic. To summarize the previous discussion TADC is classified as adult animation not by content but by demographic. It would be no more adult than Duckman or Bob's Burgers. Trying to equate "adult animation" only literally is a completely pointless approach. Carlinal (talk) 03:31, 13 October 2024 (UTC)

Pomni, the name origin
[edit]This edit request has been answered. Set the |answered= or |ans= parameter to no to reactivate your request. |
Add to "Voice cast" -> "Main" -> "Lizzie Freeman as Pomni"
The name "Pomni" was chosen because none of the characters remember their names. In Russian, "pomni" (помни) means "do not forget," which is the imperative form of the verb "помнить" (to remember). When Pomni and Kinger leave the basement in the 3rd episode, she is the only one who remembers what happened there.

- You can't use Reddit and Fandom as sources. This is interesting information (alliteration not intended), but it can't be added until it can be backed up by a reliable source. SleepDeprivedGinger (talk) 12:22, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

Can we mention T-posing?
[edit]@Jamie Eilat I know you just removed it but I think linking to the page can help the reader imagen what it would look like and its still under the word limit Anthony2106 (talk) 23:54, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- The specific pose of the models is a pretty minor &, I would say, inconsequential visual detail; it has no impact or effect on the plot, so it holds no relevance to the plot summary. We're meant to avoid unnecessary minutiae in plot summaries. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 00:28, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
