GA
[edit]Meets the criteria well enough to flag as a GA. Needs some copy-editing and other fixes, but nothing to fail over. — Deckiller 17:33, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- Pretty darn good, but Nuumamonjaa, wow. Gets some serious coverage here... Zeality 04:57, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Great series of articles, but I'd like more coverage on the three other Satellview games (Music Library, Character Library, and Jet Bike Special). And this is just kind of a small bother to me, but on the Chrono (Series) article, I would like the logo of Radical Dreamers to be present in it's section. I mean, Trigger, Cross, and even the ill fated Brake have their logos put up. Radical Dreamers just sticks out like a sore thumb without a picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.202.145 (talk) 10:41, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Merge Chrono Break here
[edit]If a game is ever announced, this can be a development section for it, but until then, it would rest well right in this article and help build it up for Featured article status. Better to have one featured article than two GA's. And again, if another game is announced, it can be split out, but this article could use the content, so I propose a merge. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 02:57, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- The nature of Chrono Break is such that every little detail provides information. I would only support a merger if you lifted the article as is and put it here, without excising anything. We can have an FA AND a GA otherwise. ZeaLitY [ DREAM - REFLECT ] 06:11, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think that would be fine, with the headings removed, the article isn't that huge, and will be in proper proportion once the rest of the article is built up. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 22:03, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think I support this. I think that it's a pretty sorry state of affairs if simply making an article longer like this, whilst maintaining the same number of sources per paragraph, makes it more likely to get to FA. I think rationales for merges should be more about what would be best for the casual user than what is most likely to get featured, and I think the Chrono Break article is substantial enough to be able to sit on its own (as evidenced by it being a GA) - rst20xx (talk) 14:02, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- There is nothing "sorry" about it. Just because an article is GA doesn't mean it can't be merged, and yes, the goal for all wikipedia articles if Featured Status, and that means two GA's are not as good ad one FA. Unless they make another Chrono game, this is a permanent GA, and if it was merged to the main article, would boost the series article and help it get featured. No information would be lost, and it would be very presentable for the average reader, who probably never even heard of Chrono Break and would know all about it by going to the series article. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 02:57, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- But why does merging two articles, whilst maintaining the same number of sources per paragraph, make them more likely to be a viable FA? They should be no more viable as they'd still be just as well researched and referenced!!! If they are more viable, then you're playing a broken system - rst20xx (talk) 13:24, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Because it helps make the series article more comprehensive, and eliminates a permanent GA status article. If a new game ever came out, it would be split again, but there is no guarantee that will happen. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 16:51, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Did you even read what I wrote?!? rst20xx (talk) 20:08, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, some nonsense that the system is broken? Take it up with people who can change what bothers you, but FA's still trump GA's. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 21:37, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I have - rst20xx (talk) 02:13, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Requested move 8 February 2018
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: consensus not to move the pages as originally requested, and no consensus to move Chrono (series) to Chrono (video game series). Dekimasuよ! 06:15, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
– I feel like this series is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for just the word Chrono. Everything else listed in the disambiguation is a WP:PTM or not even its own article. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 07:00, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose クロノ is not even a well known video game franchise. But while we're here, move to Chrono (video game series) per WP:CRITERIA, series means TV or book series to non games editors and readers. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:26, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Move to Chrono (video game series) I have no idea why WP:NCVG supports (series), but its a mistake due to inherent ambiguity. -- Netoholic @ 11:46, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Making an edit to a guideline standing nearly as long as the others which you are attempting to cite for a specific case where the use of the phrase doesn't need further disambiguation isn't cool. --Izno (talk) 13:15, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- It's basically DAB protocol. We only add as much disambiguation as is necessary. If there are no other series, there's no need for the extra "video game" to be tacked on. Until there is a Chrono TV/film/book series, its extraneous. Sergecross73 msg me 13:43, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- That does appear to have been a WP:LOCALCONSENSUS developed in isolation by video game editors done without discussion with WPTV editors, WPfilm editors, WPbook editors. That doesn't make it binding here in a WP:RM where editors active across various sub-projects. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:08, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- No, it seems like a basic reading of the DAB/CONCISE guidance. Sergecross73 msg me 16:12, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Irrespective, it was still developed by one Project in isolation from other Projects. All I can see is that to those to whom "series" means one thing, series will mean one thing. To those to whom "series" means another thing, series will mean another thing. Not in itself surprising. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:35, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose proposal and oppose "(video game series)". It's not the PRIMARYTOPIC, and "video game" is unnecessary to add on when there are no other series to disambiguate from. Sergecross73 msg me 11:49, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose as a pop culture title grab. The primary meaning of the term relates to its Greekroot, and in fact the use by this series of the name makes that clear as day. --Izno (talk) 13:17, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- WP:NOTDICTIONARY - sometimes common dictionary terms may have primary topics that are pop culture, because we don't make a page just for a dicdef. The Greek terms that were added are also just partial title matches and not other articles named "Chrono".ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:00, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per Serge's comments. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 19:07, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per not being WP:PTOPIC outside video games. While not the most known "word", sources associate its use with time-something, not the video games. Oppose "video game series" are being unnecessary disambiguation not conflicting with any other current series articles per WP:INCDAB. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 12:46, 13 February 2018 (UTC)

Another Eden
[edit]Another Eden should probably be added to this page. Two key staff and very similar elements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FormX (talk • contribs) 19:04, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
- Doesn't make it a Chrono game, but could belong in the legacy section or something. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 03:50, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
- I wouldn’t actively oppose it, but to me, I think it’s mention in the “related” section of the template is sufficient to me... Sergecross73 msg me 15:02, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
