BTW, I really like Ms. Kawaye's voice. She sounds so, er, kawaii!--BigMac1212 02:56, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

please do not edit the biography section of janice's page. i've seen numerous errors and keep having to correct some of them. Just to let everyone know...she was born in the usa!! and her birth name is Janice Hiromi Kawaye. please understand i am her cousin and she doesn't do the whole internet thing so i go and clean up mis-information about her. THANX for your understanding. -Jennifer Akiko Kawaye-Reven —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenkawaye (talkcontribs) 16:58, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Videos of Janice's game roles

[edit]

According to the latest revision for this article, "But here are some videos that shows she was in these games as such". Where are the videos? Homechallenge55 (talk) 16:35, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, if that's what you want, then this is what you get, here's are the videos showing the voice actress voicing the characters:
And that's it, and the videos of Janice Kawaye voice every single character that has been uncredited, hope it helps clear things up, and that you add these sources to the article, ok good buddy! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 02:08, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
YouTube is not a reliable source of information, as none of these videos ever acknowledge Janice. Homechallenge55 (talk) 23:17, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, that's not true, YouTube is absolutely a reliable source of information, for finding clips of voice actors voicing the characters, voice demos of voice actors, and many more, in fact, I can explain to you the many reason why YouTube is a reliable source of information for this article, until you see otherwise, but ya know that I can't do that now can I, cause then it's turn into a debate, and you know that debates don't end well, so if you can at least try to understand of what I'm telling you and add these important sources to this article, then that would be great dude! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 02:32, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
YouTube is NOT a reliable source of information, because NONE of the videos that you provided show Janice Kawaye's name anywhere. A reliable source of information must OFFICIALLY state that [name of voice actor] voiced [name of character]. Homechallenge55 (talk) 16:18, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, well if that's the case, then here are some websites that have just been update, and might have the statement that you want:

So tell me, do these websites help with this problem?! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 22:04, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. Anime News Network and TV Tropes are both user-contributed sites and thus not reliable. Information about Janice in Anime News Network was taken straight from Wikipedia itself. Metacritic has several inconsistencies at least in voice acting. See Soulcalibur IV as an example. Homechallenge55 (talk) 00:20, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I see your point, but its only at least a several, but there are some of that info is pretty much spot on, so Metacritic doesn't always have that many inconsistencies, so you can at least take that into consideration, ok?! :/ Norozco1 (talk) 03:54, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Besides, I know that she was in these games, and voicing these characters, cause she was probably still doing some recordings in LA, at Bang Zoom, and was still being credited as Janice Roman Roku at the when the company was dubbing these games: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star, Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, Hyperdimension Neptunia U, Mugen Souls Z, Rune Factory 4, and The Witch and the Hundred Knight. However, the rest of the games, like Tales of Xillia 1&2, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Lost Dimension, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, and Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed, were all dubbed by Cup of Tea Productions, Inc. only, and few of the games show that Patrick Seitz directed them on top that, so if that kind of info isn't resourceful enough for ya in anyway, then I don't know what is?! :/ Norozco1 (talk) 04:29, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I hate to say this, but the information you provided is not resourceful enough to me. You still have not provided official evidence to support your claims. Homechallenge55 (talk) 18:03, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, then how about this, if I can get Patrick Seitz to verify that she was in these games, directly from twitter, then will you accept it as such?! :/ Norozco1 (talk) 23:57, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely. Homechallenge55 (talk) 00:03, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I just twitted him, so hopefully by tomorrow, he's reply back to my answer and we get confirmation, so just wait until then, ok good buddy?! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 01:27, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Homechallenge55 (talk) 15:47, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great, glad to here it dude! :) Norozco1 (talk) 17:19, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Is it okay for me to delete those game credits now? Sorry for being late. Homechallenge55 (talk) 21:22, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No, I still need more time, and besides, one of the directors from bang zoom made a confirmation that she was indeed at bang zoom for sure, so please, just wait a little longer, and for now, i'll leave this link here, take a look at it, ok:
I'm sorry. You have not provided any reliable sources of information in your tweets. We can't just leave those rumored game credits be if there are no reliable sources of information to support them. I do not believe Wikipedians who cannot find reliable sources of information. Homechallenge55 (talk) 17:23, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
But they aren't just rumored game credits, I just know it's not, and I know that there's reliable sources for these games somewhere, you just gotta give me more time, please?! :( NJOrozco 20:23, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
I went ahead and commented out the unsourced roles. If evidence shows they can be added back then go for it. The ones from Atlus USA are extremely hard to come by when the actress is not there to self-identify over Twitter / resume, but good luck asking the directors. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:25, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
thanks man, I think I will! ;) NJOrozco 03:44, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
Please read this information regarding unreliable sources of information. Homechallenge55 (talk) 20:47, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I read it, and I see your point, but still, she's was in these video games, and I'm gonna get a confirmation from somebody, no matter what it takes, ya know?! :/ NJOrozco 01:35, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
I honestly don't think she was in ANY of these games. There is just no irrefutable evidence provided to support your claims. You get your hopes up too high. Anyway, good luck with finding reliable sources of information. Homechallenge55 (talk) 17:00, 27 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I will, and just so ya know, i'm not getting my hope up too high, cause there are some people who know that she was in these videos, like Dorothy Fahn, she even explained why the voice actors that were in these games, have been denying the fact that she was in them, ya know?! :/ NJOrozco 15:10, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
Well that's why the IMDb (or VGDB) external link is still there, in case someone wants to look it up on a not-so-reliable source. It just doesn't belong on the main article. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:11, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well I think it does! :) NJOrozco 21:41, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

Janice's Photo

[edit]

It's has come to my attention that a certain someone keeps undoing the photo of Janice Kawaye that Grey DeLisle Tweeted this photo of them together, & this link is proof of that fact:

https://twitter.com/GreyDeLisle/status/864949016273891328

So until this kind of Vandalism stops, I need to know who keep doing this, cause the person goes my these wiki editor guest # accounts:

66.112.118.126
66.168.28.207

They're the same person, & are vandalizing this article without seeing the facts & the Knowledge that its really her, & that's the truth. Norozco1 (talk) 02:47, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's the work of The Love Pony trying to evade its block. That user has been told many times to stop jumping to conclusions a lot. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 03:24, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I see, well that makes since. :/ Norozco1 (talk) 13:27, 2 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
