Re: the deletion of Brianne Siddall, big mistake! >:(

[edit]

Re your message: I did not delete the page, so you are complaining to the wrong admin. I only reverted your attempted undoing of the closure of the deletion discussion, which did nothing to restore the article. If you disagree with the closure of the deletion discussion, please discuss the issue with Spartaz (talk · contribs) or follow the instructions at Deletion Review, though you must discuss the issue with Spartaz first. However, I will tell you right now that making threats of retaliation will not get the decision reversed. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:54, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Debi Derryberry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jekyll. Hi, I reverted your recent edit at Bakugan Battle Brawlers. In your edit you described the subject as a Japanese-American production, but that doesn't appear to be supported by the article's prose, since the production companies listed appear to be based in Japan. You also didn't add any references to support the addition and your edit summary "Article Update" didn't explain your rationale for the change. For these reasons, I have reverted your edit. Please include references if you choose to re-submit this content. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:31, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Yuri Lowenthal. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. I've removed bolding from this article because it contravenes MOS:BOLD, it is unsourced, it constitutes original reseach, and it adds unnecessary weight to facts that may not deserve such weight. Consensus against bolding lead roles has been established numerous times, including at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Archive 134. It is also specifically discouraged at WP:FILMCAST, which is part of the Manual of Style for Film. You continue to restore the formatting without any rationale, acknowledgment of existing consensus, and without discussion. This is disruptive. You are invited to share your opinions on the article's talk page, but not to restore content that conflicts with consensus unless a different local consensus is achieved. Consensus is achieved through discussion, not reverts or votes. If you revert again, it will be considered edit-warring. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:06, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop harassing

[edit]

I have quite enough of you thanking my edits on Yuri's page. One 'thanks' is enough. -Sk8erPrince (talk) 18:04, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i'm sorry aobut that, i'll stop alright, i didn't mean to harass you or anything, i just wanted to thank you for being so helpful to yuri's page that's all, and besides i'm still new at this so i'm trying to figure out how this system works ok. :'-( Norozco1 (talk) 18:50, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be morose, Norozco1. It is okay to thank anyone if you wish. There is no need to feel sorry. Sk8erPrince is also new here and that is the reason he was a bit rude to everyone. Regards, Jim Carter (from public cyber) 09:31, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I thought we should be happy or satisfied after being thanked by someone else. There is barely anyone on Wikipedia will do that. As for me, I would consider that thank as a support for me to continue to edit. Actually I am planning to give you another barnstar because of that. Thanking each others is important, especially for people that are new, like us. I appreciate all the thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AdrianGamer (talkcontribs) 15:15, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry on Yuri Lowenthal page

[edit]

Hey I'm sorry I removed the notable credits from the Yuri Lowenthal infobox page. I just had my brain mixed up after I had a very rough week dealing with several issues from TheFarix and Cyphoidbomb being critical here, it feels like I want to commit suicide.--107.77.64.96 (talk) 17:49, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

it's ok, just remember if you have any problems that you have, don't commit suicide or take all your anger out by removing the notable credits, just talk to someone about it and you'll feel better, ok. :-) Norozco1 (talk) 21:26, 30 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Need sources for video game credits

[edit]

Can you supply sources for the video game credits that you are adding to the filmographies? It is difficult to track which of these are officially credited by the game itself and which are just fan speculation. -AngusWOOF (talk) 14:12, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not constructive

[edit]

Hi, I consider this edit of yours unconstructive. There was enough information in my clearly-written edit summary for you to understand what I was saying. "Birthdate in infobox and birthdate in lead don't match. Also unsourced. BLPs must be impeccably sourced for data like this. Removing birthplace as well for same reason: unsourced since 2013." Your reversion, with the explanation "but this data is really important for everyone who sees this article" doesn't address in the slightest the concern I raised, and doesn't indicate that you read the guidelines for Biographies of Living People. If you are going to edit biographies, you need to understand the expectations the Biography community has. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:35, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i understand what your sayin now, so thanks for the information, along with the link that you've provided for me, i'd really appropriate. :-) Norozco1 (talk) 20:47, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sonic Boom (TV series)

[edit]

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your edits to Sonic Boom (TV series), because it wasn't supported by a reliable source. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a venue for unverifiable speculation. As an encyclopedia we should only report information that can be verified to be accurate by a third-party reliable source. In your edit you claimed that Sonic Boom will air on other television networks, such as Nickelodeon Arabia. As of September, I believe that Sega has only confirmed that Sonic Boom will be televised on Cartoon Network in the US, and Gulli and Canal J in France, followed by an global release later on. To my knowledge, Sega has not confirmed any other networks. Furthermore, the Nickelodeon Arabia appears to be defunct (no longer live). This strikes me as a red flag that you may be speculating. I appreciate your eagerness to add new content to the article, but please only add content that can be verified to be true and accurate. For help citing sources, I would give Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and Wikipedia:Citing sources a read. Thanks. Mz7 (talk) 18:33, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to what @Mz7: said, the Network parameter and the Country parameter of the infobox are not to be used the way you are using them in this edit. The Network parameter is for the original broadcast network(s), not for syndicated networks, rerun networks, or networks across the world that also broadcast the series. If this project is a French and American co-production, then only the first French and American networks should be included. The Country parameter is for the nations that produced the series, i.e. financed it. The animation houses are typically not included in this field because they typically are hired by the production houses. See Template:Infobox television for more details. Please do not tamper with my personal to-do list

[edit]

I saw you added your draft to my to-do list at User:MatthewVanitas; please do not mess with others' userpages, it's quite inappropriate. I'm not interested in rescuing the Sidall article because I don't even know what it's about yet since you haven't even added that. Also, there's no need for "rescue" because you, the original author, are still here and working on it. That section of mine is for "interesting article, but originator appears to have wandered off."

In any case, just leave others' userpages alone, and focus on reading the basic Wikipedia guidelines for article writing to see if the Siddall article can pass muster. MatthewVanitas (talk) 03:46, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced content

[edit]

Hi Norozco1, please don't add unsourced content to articles as you've done here. There is no indication from sourced prose in the article that Sonic Boom is a Japanese co-production. If you have sources for the information, feel free to re-add it, but you must also provide an inline citation. See Referencing for Beginners if you are unsure how to do that. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:57, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, its just that on the previous update, i thought that he might got some sources for this article, but i guess i was wrong again.  :-( But on the other hand, it said that its' a follow-up to the anime, Sonic X, so if that's true, then it brings me to that unanswered question about this, so i hope you might be able to answer this: How is Sonic X any different then the follow-up, Sonic Boom? :-/ Norozco1 (talk) 22:10, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You can't make changes based on assumptions. As for your question, I don't know how Sonic X is different from Sonic Boom. Those differences will likely be determined by sourced prose. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 22:55, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well. if you say so, then i'm ok with this, and i hope that these prose might have the answer that i was looking for, so i'll just wait and see how it progresses, Ok. :-) Norozco1 (talk) 23:47, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

February 2015

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dcbanners. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sonic Boom (TV series), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dcbanners (talk) 22:49, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Sonic Boom (TV series), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dcbanners (talk) 22:20, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to underscore this warning by Dcbanners, because I found the same edit that he did to be problematic. Norozco1, you've been around long enough to know that per WP:CRYSTAL, future events must be sourced. If you submit unsourced content again as you did, I will be strongly tempted to ask an admin to review your edits. If the data you are adding is important to you, then your first instinct should be to find a reliable published source to support it. Wikipedia's reliability as an encyclopedia is only as strong as the references that support it, and Wikipedia has no deadline. There is no rush for information to be added. Providing sources is more important than being the first person to report a fact. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:07, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Brianne Siddall

[edit]

Hi Norozco, do you plan to add references to Draft:Brianne Siddall? Because if/when it goes live, it's going to have the same problem that all of these fanboy articles have, which is a glaring lack of sources. This is something you've been apprised of and it makes more sense to add the sources before it goes live than to have an improperly cited article. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:08, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, i do plan to add references to Draft:Brianne Siddall, that way it would be a lot easier for editors, ya know! :-) Norozco1 (talk) 20:34, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You've already clicked the resubmit button. The smarter approach would have been to get your references sorted while you were adding the content so that there was sufficient referencing once you clicked resubmit, not to wait until another editor pointed out the problem. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:46, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, i understand, I'll go try and do just that, ok! :-) Norozco1 (talk) 20:52, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Atelier Escha and Logy

[edit]

There is nothing in the video you cited that officially confirms Ariel Winter as voicing Escha.
Please read this, this, and this. Linking a video of Escha's voice proves nothing. The reader is then forced to draw their own conclusion. Saying that "it sounds like her" is not acceptable. There are far too many instances I've seen of people using their ears to identify voices (instead of official sources) and being very wrong, with official sources (such as statements from the voice actors themselves) debunking them. What's to say Escha isn't one of those cases? The fact that you personally believe it sounds like Ariel Winter is ultimately not usable in the long run. You should be using objective facts. Citing subjective opinions as "official sources" just shouldn't be done.
Not to mention that Ariel Winter is highly unlikely to have worked on this game, based on its status as a union dub, Winter's status as a union actress with a high-profile regular TV role among many other obligations, and the limited talent pool used in game dubs.--Shadoman (talk) 17:43, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ok, your right, im sorry for lack of information, and i hope that in the near future, i'll try to find important sources, ok. :-) Norozco1 (talk) 21:49, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sloppy editing

[edit]

Your edits at Draft:Brianne Siddall in these edits are very sloppy. AngusWOOF clearly did not place these templates, and the second one is seemingly forced within an embedded comment. This sort of sloppy editing raises concerns about your competence, which is underscored by your previous problematic edits, your reluctance and/or confusion about providing sources, your questionable and confusing talk page responses, etc. This doesn't paint the best portrait of you, so please elevate your edits as quickly as possible. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 07:02, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please write up the biography first, and not focus on her filmography so that it can survive notability. And it does not need an under construction tag, especially with my name on it. Thanks. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 13:54, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
In retrospect, Norozco, I believe my note above was needlessly stern, so I apologize for that. In spirit, however, yes, you should please try to pay more attention to detail and hit "Show preview" before committing your changes to an article. Everyone makes mistakes, but this method will help you avoid many. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:37, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, i'll try using that method, thanks for that! :-) Norozco1 (talk) 21:56, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yuri Lowenthal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Variety. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Brianne Siddall credits

[edit]

Can you please check over the closing credits additions you made? The IP editor is trying to add closing credits but they are incorrect. For example, Doug's 1st movie doesn't show Brianne in the English voice cast but much later in the "additional voice cast" section. If you can cite where you saw the episode credit e.g. via YouTube, Netflix, Neon Alley, Hulu, On Demand, or broadcast TV, or DVD please do so. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 07:26, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing! ;) NJOrozco 14:48, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
Regarding Netflix entries, use via=Netflix instead of network=Netflix if you saw it on Watch Instantly. If you rented the DVD then use medium=DVD and put the year of the DVD production. You then don't need to say it was seen on Netflix. I removed Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya as that wasn't a title on Netflix Watch Instantly. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:41, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok AngusWOOF, I understand, i'll try to remember that, thanks for the tip! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 11:49, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Signature

[edit]

Hi NJOrozco, I noticed your signature doesn't have any links to your user page or talk page. Per the guidlines at Wikipedia:Signatures "Signatures must include at least one direct internal link to your user page, user talk page, or contributions page" so can you please fix this. Thank you. Sarahj2107 (talk) 08:37, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, if that's all, this I'll fix it right away! :) Norozco1 (talk) 11:49, 7 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell him those sources are proof of her role as Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog, I get tired of arguing against users that refuse to understand and listen. 2600:1000:B030:84E3:F0B3:771B:101D:EFE9 (talk) 22:59, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No surprise there. 174.192.38.189 (talk) 23:36, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Hard to understand why those IPs keep using unreliable sources. --Ebyabe talk - Repel All Boarders00:23, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Took the liberty to restore your edit on Janice Kawaye. It looks like The Love Pony has return as another IP user. I hate sock puppets. — FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 06:42, 1 September 2017 (UTC) Yeah, me too, :/ Norozco1 (talk) 08:06, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
