This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because a) he was very influential (Giantbomb link states "His work would prove to be influential on Japanese video games, and in turn anime as well"), and b) there is already a sizable article on him in the Japanese Wikipedia, clearly indicating he has passed the importance criteria there. ----LaukkuTheGreit (Talk•Contribs) 10:37, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
