Regarding sexual assualt allegations
[edit]For attention of any editors and those wondering why the sexual assualt allegations are not covered in this article: as soon as any source approved on WP:RSP please add details of the allegations to the article. As with most content creator articles there are few non-industry sources covering the issue and any that are have been declared "tabloid" or "unreliable." There is a moral duty to ensure these allegations which have been acknowledged and not denied by the subject of the article are covered and not whitewashed by Wikipedia's overzealous and perpetrator-sided policies. dyln (talk) 09:42, 13 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]why does georgenotfound not have a wiki page? Andreeatma (talk) 12:06, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
- he has one here -> GeorgeNotFound SuspiciousPenguin2 (talk) 11:06, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Andreeatma we need wiki pages on all the dream smp members, wars and also the locations such as l'manberg and kinoko kingdom (I mean individually). and can some one please write the plot somewhere on a wiki page I'm a new fan and I'm struggling to understand the plots, sagas and wars. 151.71.188.250 (talk) 15:51, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- im not familiar with it either... SuspiciousPenguin2 (talk) 12:36, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has notability guidelines that would prohibit the creation of new articles for these separate subjects. If there was a reliable secondary source that talked about these things, there wouldn't be a problem with adding them to the Dream SMP article. I'm unaware of such a source though. Explanation on sourcing and notability
[edit]Hi new page patrollers and other editors! Due to the turbulent history of this page, you may be eager to delete this article at the mere sight of this page entering mainspace. But before starting an AfD, please read this explanation.
Much work has been done to improve the article in recent months; the page at the time of the May 2022 AfC rejection was in a completely different state than the page now. There have been two main issues historically: poor sourcing and insufficient demonstrated notability. To address the former: all citations in the article are from reliable sources, demonstrated through inclusion on WP:RS/PS, WP:RS/N, or WP:VG/RS. To address the latter: many of these sources are independent and demonstrate significant coverage, clearly demonstrating that the subject now passes WP:GNG. See below the source assessment table, which features just some of the sources contributing toward GNG.
Source assessment table: prepared by User:PantheonRadiance

As for why this page was rejected through AfC this month, you can read the rejection comments and the subsequent review discussion yourself. All concerns made by the reviewers were either addressed in the discussion or remedied in later edits. However, at some point reviewers were just unwilling to engage in discussion, suggesting to either move it ourselves or submit it to AfC again — so I am following their suggestion.
If you are considering an AfD, I first encourage you to reevaluate the article as it is today. BappleBusiness[talk] 04:25, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
BappleBusiness Hey, thank you for posting the explanation, and once again, thanks for all your hard work on the article in general. Anyway, I also endorse the notability of GeorgeNotFound through these sources. PantheonRadiance (talk) 02:05, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
where's a wiki page on tubbo ranboo and Philza
[edit]can someone make this. 151.71.188.250 (talk) 15:53, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- @151.71.188.250 Wikipedia has strict notability guidelines that govern whether an article can be create or not. Articles can usually be created if they pass the notability guidelines. Maybe review those and see if any of the people you wish to make articles about pass the guidelines. Strugglehouse (talk) 21:35, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
Source for middle name?
[edit]George's middle name has been floating around for a while but I am unsure if it is doxxed information, which would be against the BLP policy. His surname was accidentally revealed by fellow streamer Karl Jacobs (of Mr. Beast fame), but was later publicly released by George himself. As far as I'm aware George has never publicly released his middle name. There should be a source for his middle name that proves it is not doxxed information, otherwise his middle name should be removed from the page. Sketchyswirl (talk) 23:38, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- The body of the article was citing 3 sources for this. One seems to just be spam, so I've removed it, but the other two—comicbook.com and Tech Times—seem reasonably reliable at a glance. However, if George has an objection to his middle name being public, there might be a basis to remove it on WP:BLP grounds. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|she) 23:44, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
- comicbook.com and Tech Times don't state how they learned his full name, and sites such as those have been known to use doxxed information, even if unintentionally. Forbes used doxxed information about George's coworker and roommate Dream accidentally, so unless a public tweet from George can be found, it seems risky to keep his middle name on the page.
