Quits in United States (from 2012)
[edit]Hello! Could you please update this chart? It has been some months since January. Thank you! Nerd271 (talk) 21:50, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- Will do! Just so you know, the stats are always about three months behind, so I'll only be able to update to March. BappleBusiness[talk] 22:16, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- No worries! No rush if you are busy with school or life. Cheers! Nerd271 (talk) 16:38, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
- Hello again! If you have some free time, please update the chart. It is my understanding that the American economy has had a rather eventful summer. Best wishes! Nerd271 (talk) 16:15, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for reminding me- I'm in the middle of finals at the moment, but I'll try to do it as soon as possible! BappleBusiness[talk] 18:41, 9 December 2023 (UTC)

Happy new year! I hope your final exams went well. What are you studying, by the way?
The latest available data (October 2023) suggests that the quit rate has fallen almost what it was in January 2020. It seems that those reports are right. The Great Resignation is essentially over. Nerd271 (talk) 23:42, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you, I'm studying political science! I hope your new year went well. I just updated the chart, sorry for the delay. Luckily with the event being over, I will only probably have to update it once or twice more. BappleBusiness[talk] 20:08, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- The chart looks great. Thank you! I agree. Perhaps another update sometime this summer would be enough, at least for this context.
- If you don't mind, what program(s) did you use to create the chart? I'm curious. Nerd271 (talk) 00:07, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- I just used Google Sheets, nothing fancy. BappleBusiness[talk] 01:35, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- I see. Because you generated the image as a scalable vector graphic, I honestly thought you used specialized software or wrote some computer code. It turns out that I could do the same using LibreOffice.org, though I never tested that feature. Perhaps I will soon. Cheers! Nerd271 (talk) 00:27, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

Hello again, fellow editor! I hope your summer is enjoyable. Could you please update this chart some time before the school year restarts? Given current trends, this will likely be the last necessary update. By the way, the employment-population ratio among people aged 25-54 has surged above pre-pandemic levels, though not to the record set in the late 1990s. Labor force participation has not done that in part because of population aging. The Baby Boomers started entering retirement age in the 2010s. (Of course, the Great Recession played a key role as well.) Nerd271 (talk) 00:31, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Nerd271, I'm gonna edit it to be to go to the end of the year - January 2024. Do you think we need it to end farther? If so, I'll have to update it at least one more time because the latest numbers will change a little bit in the next few months. BappleBusiness[talk] 22:36, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- On the second thought, I think it is perfect the way it is, January 2012 to January 2024. Thank you! Nerd271 (talk) 14:11, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

Pluto Projector
[edit]I wondered if you were a fan of Rex Orange County also? I saw you thanked and even contributed to the article a bit, and wondered if you liked his music too! AskeeaeWiki (talk) 22:56, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
- @AskeeaeWiki I am, although I'm not super deep into his music. But I am glad that Pluto Projector has an article now since it is certainly notable enough; I just couldn't find enough sources to make a decently fleshed-out article when I originally created the redirect. Thank you for your work! BappleBusiness[talk] 02:51, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- @BappleBusiness Glad to hear! I'll work some more on his discography, as a lot of the articles on him seem to be considered stubs. Cheers! AskeeaeWiki (talk) 02:53, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

Re: Indy100
[edit]Hi, regarding your revert on GeorgeNotFound - please can you update WP:RSP entry for Independent to mention indy100 was once deemed unreliable? Also I absolutely disagree that sexual assualt allegations belong in the lead especially when it has led to the subject of the article to delete all social media and an indefinite hiatus of their work. Your language in that edit is very worrying. daylon124 (talk) 09:37, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Dyln1, I'll update the perennial sources noticeboard now. When I said that the sexual assault allegations don't belong in the lead, I don't mean to imply that they aren't important, but that placing them in the lead places undue weight on them. When determining due weight, we have to go by prevalence in reliable sources, and we have to exercise caution when dealing with a biography of a living person. Right now, it's debatable whether we can even include the allegations, so if we were to include them, we probably shouldn't place them in the most prominent part of the article. BappleBusiness[talk] 22:11, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your explanation and for your effort. I will continue to monitor for any reliable sources on the subject. dyln (talk) 01:44, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
