A fact from Cities: Skylines appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 9 November 2014 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

This article is written in British English with Oxford spelling (colour, realize, organization, analyse; note that -ize is used instead of -ise) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |

[edit]Most successful paradox title to date? I don't think this is an accurate claim. Crusader Kings 2 sold over 2 million copies and is the most played Paradox title on steam. The source article says that Cities is the "most SUCCESSFUL paradox title", which I think refers to how fast it sold. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.248.44.19 (talk) 00:13, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

Expansion packs section
[edit]I think the section about the game's expansions would read much better as a table. As it is now, the prose is messy-looking, with many one-sentence paragraphs. Usually, when I see content like that, my first instinct is to table-ize, but I wanted to get some second opinions. If nobody wants to chime in, I'll just go ahead and do it. BruzerFox 16:00, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
- Go right ahead, I think there's still more DLC planned and it would make better sense to provide it as such. --MASEM (t) 16:02, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
- Prose is still preferred ideally, but if its just single sentences with release dates, then yea, table would fit better. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 18:04, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
- It seems to me that tables are the norm when a video game gets a large number of expansion packs, like with The Sims 4#Expansions, add-ons and additions. (pretty low-quality article to pull for an example, I know) BruzerFox 19:08, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
Semi Protection
[edit]Seems to be a fair bit of vandalism from non signed in users- I wish to recommend semi-protection
2.26.236.196 (talk) 21:14, 16 April 2019 (UTC)
False information about non-existent game features have been removed from the article. No vandalism has taken place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2606:6000:4440:100:6D0F:F163:6B19:E3B (talk) 15:52, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- Disruptive removal of valid and sourced content is vandalism. The user responsible has been blocked (likely editing as IPs as well, which the protection stops) -- ferret (talk) 16:26, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
Clarifying Mod Usage
[edit]Recently, someone thought that this page was inaccurate, due to the fact that mods are only available on the PC, Mac OS, and Linux versions of Cities: Skylines. Presumably he must have played a different version of Cities: Skylines that does not offer mod support and thought the statements about mod support were inaccurate. Should the page be change so that it is clear that mod support is only available for the PC, Mac OS, and Linux versions of the game?
David Rosenstein (talk) 21:14, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- Mods are tied to Steam workshop in the prose, which is only available for PC (mac + linux too). It feels unnecessary to add, particularly to people that think that CO/Paradox "lied" about mod support. --Masem (t) 21:25, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
- Considering the individual in question was directly informed that the mods exist on PC and continued to remove the content (and other parts), all of which is sourced, I don't think any clarification would have prevented the issue. -- ferret (talk) 22:30, 17 April 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hey DankJae. Why did you undo the article while i just putting Cities: Skylines 2 on the page. Just because i saw Cities: Skylines 2 on these YouTube videos, i have to keep reverting this. Also, i was really an administrator in Wikipedia. So i could block or fired at you by IP andresses and or a hack if you're an admin or not. This is what i'm talking about when you put Discussion in talk at summary DankJae. Frog Case (talk) 18:22, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
- "also spelled Cities: Skylines 2" does not seem necessary, II obviously is 2 and is used by the developer, not a minor edit, you are not an admin, tone your language down here and at my talk, per WP:BRD if you are reverted once please your put your proposal here, happy you have done that now although only after you were reverted three times, and if other editors agree here to include it, then it can be included then. Many Thanks DankJae 19:23, 31 March 2023 (UTC)

Adding content Creator packs
[edit]since there's a DLC part why don't we add the content creator packs? Cities lover (talk) 19:23, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Cities lover
- This part refers to the expansion packs. Other packs are not covered.
- Check here.

Dester13
[edit]Geotyhoon we need to discuss. I just want to put Cities: Skylines 2 because i just saw it from YouTube and subreddit. So then why you did you revert it back? Dester13 (talk) 18:28, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- Roman numerals and arabic numerals denote the same number. We should not list both. MrOllie (talk) 18:33, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
