Electronic
HI, We are working on electronic literature . This is listed as low importance for literature, and I wondered why?
Electronic literature uses games, images, sound, etc. as an integral part of the literary experience. With the advent of new technology, AI, VR, etc., electronic literature is an essential part of literature creation... I am a newbie editor, so I greatly appreciate your help! Thanks!LoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 16:58, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
WIP's listed on writer page?
Wondering if there is a standard for including works in progress, particularly under a Selected Works heading? Would the standard be to only include published works with ISBN numbers, or would a wiki editor include works in progress that may have been announced already in reliable press?
This is in regards to a writer / translator page I created here - Max Lawton. Thank you in advance!

- If you have a source to cite for it, I think you could include a sentence like “A translation of X was announced in 2024, to be published by Y publisher.” If it’s just something the author has mentioned working on in interviews, I think that’s too speculative to include. I don’t think it’s super important to include forthcoming works since there’s nothing to say about them except the announcement, but if there’s sourcing I also don’t see the harm in including it. Just my take. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 06:29, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- That makes sense, I’ll go try to find some sources and specific info on forthcoming publishers etc. Lacanic (talk) 07:00, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
Phrases
Hello, I have noticed that phrases on Wikipedia often need work and are caught in limbo between WikiProjects. I am considering starting a Phases and Proverbs Wikiproject, but I want to make sure that it isn't within the scope of this WikiProject but often missed. Phrases aren't covered by this or other WikiProjects, right? I can do stuff! (talk) 22:15, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
Literary Fragment
Hello! I'm currently working on the stub for literary fragments. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for an infobox I could use? Since the literary fragment refers to both historical artefacts (such as the fragments of Sappho) and also refers a literary style or form, I'm unsure of what infobox to use or edit. I'm new at this and appreciate any advice! Alsonamedbort15 (talk) 11:23, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Award-nominated translated works
Hiya! I don't really know where else to ask. If a book translation has been nominated for an award, is it within reason to add it to the "Awards and honours" section of an article, next to other nominations? If yes, how should that be formatted? EdoAug (talk) 20:13, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

Looking for one book
Looking for one book. I only remember the beginning of the piece. Some guy found a derelict computer, sat down at it and started doing something, and then he saw a man with a gun walk up to the desk, they looked at each other in silence for a while, then the guy mechanically pressed the Enter button and the man shot him back. The work was read in the 1990s or very early 2000s. The piece appeared no later than the 1990s (probably earlier). I also remember that the guy was doing something enthusiastically on the computer: at first he typed without looking at the screen, but the message on the computer monitor made him do his work more slowly and carefully. The phrases went something like this. The message on the computer screen made him work more carefully. Behind the desk stood a man with a gun in his hand. The guy had never seen a real gun, except in the movies, but he knew immediately what it was. The guy's hand dropped mechanically to the Enter button, and the same second the black muzzle of the gun burst into flames, ending his life. Vyacheslav84 (talk) 22:59, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
