Guillermo Coria situation - As told to me at the Village Pump we need a merging of 3 article histories into the page they were merged into. We had this discussion to merge/delete. We need the article histories of 2003 Guillermo Coria tennis season, 2004 Guillermo Coria tennis season, and 2005 Guillermo Coria tennis season merged into newly created Guillermo Coria career statistics. Then we need those 3 articles deleted since the contents have already been merged. They are against Tennis Project Guidelines and we've had much mischief in editors creating these types of pages for non-Grand Slam winners. They use pages like the Coria season articles as to why they create new articles. It becomes a big headache. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 07:51, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

I create the article Semi-Tarrasch Defence because existed as redirect the Semi-Tarrasch Defense. Then I make an edit on the old redirect and send it to the first. After this and this actions, were performed by user Quale, my name not listed (as creator) in history of the old redirect (were become now an article). The previous (and real) creator of the article is User:Bubba73, because I use and expand his old contribution in Tarrasch Defense to create the article. - @Anthony Appleyard: I think that Semi-Tarrasch Defense can be expanded after the separating. If we leave the article Tarrasch Defense as it was, maybe not expanded. Hillhead Baptist Church to User:Campbell Anderson/sandbox. It's a bit of a difficult case as the user initially created the page and then c&p-moved it to his user sandbox. I suspect the right thing to do is move it to the draft namespace and merge the relevant histories of the two pages in the process. — Smjg (talk) 12:29, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Not done User:Campbell Anderson/sandbox was the main editing thread. Hillhead Baptist Church is a previous editing history, but during the editing history of Talk:Hillhead Baptist Church/version 2 as text, very little was done except adding category lines, and there is a short WP:Parallel histories between them. Not done Gothicismus copied to Gothicism per a request at WP:RMTR. Due to parallel histories, a small amount of real content from 2006 couldn't be merged into the history. Odd case: an anon created two articles at Category:Serbian poets (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). The first is about Proka Jovkić (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), pasted into article space by Zoupan from this revision. The second, about Dimitrije Karaman, still lies at the page. I suppose some history split is called for... if possible. No such user (talk) 13:32, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
