Award of Merit | |
for valued contributions to Yorkshire articles on Wikipedia | |
I hereby award you the Rose of the House of York for your quite frankly ridiculous dedication to and tireless efforts in support of WikiProject Yorkshire. Appearing almost continously on my watchlist updating articles and project pages, writing the newsletter every month (which, after taking the reins for the newsletter of WP:X, I appreciate how much work goes into it), and fielding responses to interviewers from the signpost, you are a more than worthy recipient of this award. Thanks for your help! I couldn't for the life of me figure out what I was doing wrong. I don't do a lot of edits (really, only when I end up reading something on wikipedia that I notice as being incorrect or wrongly formatted, or that I learn about something noteworthy and is worthy of inclusion), so you just saved me a bunch of time.
Much appreciated! The Legacy (talk) 23:40, 20 February 2016 (UTC) |

Hello, Keith,
I spend a lot of my time each day going through drafts expiring after six months of inactiivity. Well, today, I came across a lot of drafts where the last edit to the page, on February 13, 2022, was you correcting misspellings of the word "February". And it doesn't look like you used one of those speedy editing tools like AWB to do the corrections. You are an admin and there are a million ways you could have spent your time on the project that day and here you are, spending time fixing typos on draft articles. I think that is admirable! I can also see how you now have almost a half a million edits! Thank you to an admin who still spends some of their time editing and removing typos! Liz Read! Talk! 23:03, 13 August 2022 (UTC) |
