Ha ha!
Hi Tony! I chuckled when I saw you reverted my edit with the addition of the famous ballet slipper to Tory Burch's article. You "politely" suggested that I write an article about her company. I don't have time for that right now... I do have time to ask: how come if the article is just about "her" there is a not so fabulous photograph of a shoebox featured in it? I'd suggest we replace the not so fabulous oh so DIY shoebox photo with the ballet slippers which are professionally photographed. They are better in representing her design aesthetic (which is mentioned extensively in the article) and beautifully shows her famous logo - which is also mentioned in the article. These shoes are one of her most popular pieces - I am surprised you'd rather have a mediocre photograph of Ms. Burch then show a product she is known for and that made her a good portion of that money she's made ;) But, whatever...I'm #justsaying :) (I was really truly shocked to see my edit reverted! And I don't plan on going around and around about it, I was just sad to see a semi-fine photo of her versus a beautiful photograph of a product she's super famous for...then again, I'm a fashion buff :) ). Not trying to be rude...just had to at least voice my opinion! Have a great evening! SarahStierch (talk) 05:00, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
- p.s. the following articles about fashion designers have some of their most notable designs or works featured in their articles Coco Chanel, Max Azria, Bill Blass, Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen, among others. Many other articles should have the same...but sadly with a gender disparity (many fashionistas are women more so than men in the Wikipedia world I've learned) it doesn't surprise me we're lacking great photographs of fashion! Anyway..just thought you'd like to see that it's OK to feature works of designers on their pages.. SarahStierch (talk) 05:07, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

Yobot adding Project Chicago tags
Tony,
I don't want to follow the recommendation at Wikipedia:Bot requests and raise this at Administrator Noticeboard or Bot owners noticeboard, but thought you should know that in (at least) one case I follow, Yobot added an inappropriate Project Chicago banner to an article Talk:Berard Haile. Haile had only a marginal connection with Chicago (he studied anthropology briefly at the University of Chicago), was born in Ohio, got his MA in DC, and lived most of his life in Arizona and New Mexico. This is the second time a bot has inserted such an inappropriate Chicago link.
I was born and raised in Chicago, yet I think such misleading claims of relevance aren't really helpful for someone trying to find out about the city. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 14:12, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- SteveMcCluskey, The bot tagged articles with any of the categories listed at WP:CHIBOTCATS. There is already a discussion about the recent bot activity at WT:CHICAGO. You may want to discuss further there.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 20:08, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

Meetup!
Hey Tony. Just a reminder that our meetup for the Chicago Great American Wiknic is tomorrow at 11:00 AM at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library! Hope to see you there. I'm actually going to only be there for the first half of the event as I have another obligation tomorrow afternoon. I will be setting up the event and getting things started, and the current Wikipedians-in-residence at the library, SamanthaMes and EvanRo will be able to handle things in the afternoon. I, JethroBT drop me a line 04:09, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
- I JethroBT, if I come, it will be in the afternoon. I expect to make it.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 05:06, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
- Hey, sorry we missed each other at the Wiknic today. I stuck around as long as I could (I was performing for the Square Roots festival in Lincoln Square). Thanks a bunch for being there, and for filling in participants on the event page. Victorgrigas got some photos of some of the group while we were there, so we can get those up real soon. I, JethroBT drop me a line 00:26, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, I see our group photo was posted already! I, JethroBT drop me a line

Treats! cover image
In the future, if you upload one revision that you don't want, you need not add {{Orphaned non-free revisions}} or wait for someone else to do it. Just mark with {{db-g7|rationale=See talk page}} and then at the talk page say something like "Please delete the larger revision; I uploaded it by mistake"; G7 applies to individual file revisions just as well as it does to an entire page, and there's no need for you to wait a week for deletion if you don't want to. Treats! Page
TonyTheTiger, please revert your recent edit on Treats!. I commented out a photo on that page and explained why I believed it didn't' belong. You are discussing, which is good, but you've also reverted me, which isn't so good. I didn't touch your edit, but instead, I'm asking you to revert yourself. Remember, in an NFC dispute, it's the duty of the users seeking to include (or retain) content to provide a valid rationale. Consensus right now is against it's inclusion. If consensus favors inclusion, then the photo can go right back in. Thanks Kosh Vorlon 19:45, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Exelon Pavilions
Yes, I thought I explained adequately on the Talk page. I'm still trying to get the "40-foot" nonsense out of this article. The Montgomery Ward height restrictions are not well understood by most people, as they're a now-archaic legal mechanism: a privately enforceable covenant rather than the usual government-enforced statute or ordinance. The Background section of this articles messes up several aspects of the legal situation, and is simply factually incorrect in regards to any "40-foot" rule. I could correct the arcane details of the Background section, but once it's accurate it becomes wholly irrelevant. Unfortunately, sections that are irrelevant to the subject of an article should be removed, rather than remain just because a lot of work went into writing them.
Hello. I am sorry about all the mess on Talk:Treats!. I think Kosh was right about the prior state of the article, however it is clear you addressed these concerns and that it is now up to standards.
I don't like how Kosh kept insisting that my prior opinion somehow carried on after the changes were made. I have posted there in an attempt to make my position very clear.
I think you are an amazing editor that is dramatically improving the quality of the encyclopeida. Keep up the great work. Chillum 17:52, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
