They're gonna start filming this month, meaning you'll have to keep an eye out for sources stating filming has begun. And once you find a source, the draft may be moved to the mainspace. But first you may have to request G7 on Better Call Saul (season 5) to ease the move. --Kailash29792 (talk) 06:33, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah it's near-good enough to be moved. Maybe I could just submit it for a review or would that take longer? The Optimistic One (talk) 12:42, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
- Do you have Twinkle enabled? Using that, you can tag the redirect Better Call Saul (season 5) for deletion under G7, then I will move the draft Draft:Better Call Saul (season 5) to the vacant name. Shooting is supposed to begin on April 10, which is today per IST. --Kailash29792 (talk) 06:19, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
- Sadly, I don't. Maybe you could do it. The Optimistic One (talk) 16:56, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Bulk Game of Thrones GA nominations
The Optimistic One, earlier today you nominated 33 articles, each on The Game of Thrones TV series episodes, for GA status.
I did a spot-check of several of them, and as best I can tell, you are not a significant contributor to any of them; the most I saw were five minor edits to an article. Please note that the GA nomination instructions state that Nominators who are not significant contributors to the article should consult regular editors of the article on the article talk page prior to a nomination.
, and I didn't see any sort of consultation as having occurred.
While I do not have time this morning, since these were all out-of-process nominations, my intention is to revert your nominations. You are welcome to consult on the talk pages of the various articles to see whether the significant contributors believe that the articles do meet the GA criteria at the present time, and for those where the consensus after seven days is that they do meet the criteria, nominate at that time.
Just as a general comment, 33 nominations at one time is unprecedented, and creates an enormous load for an already backed-up process. I would recommend that if you wish to get the GoT articles to GA status, that you take an active hand in improving them to that point one at a time—or confirming with other editors that they are already there—and nominate them when they're ready. Nominating also implies a willingness to address issues that may come up during the reviewing process—there isn't much point in nominating if no one is around to make the necessary fixes. Thank you for your interest in the GA process. BlueMoonset (talk) 12:33, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: Okay, 33 is too much. From now on, I'm going to nominate two or three at a time tops. I've been on Wikipedia long enough to know whether an article is good or not, and there's a few episodes of GOT that I've edited quite a bit. I would say the majority of them would pass the criteria straight away. So there's an episode nominated already, so I'll revert one of your edits. The Optimistic One (talk) 14:26, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
- Update: I have reverted all my nominations bar two: Season 7's "Eastwatch", and "The Dragon and the Wolf". When each one gets reviewed and sorted, I'll nominate another. There's also "The Lion and the Rose" from season 4 that I nominated back in April. The Optimistic One (talk) 15:31, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
- The Optimistic One, if you are willing to consult on those two articles' talk pages, I'll hold off from reverting them. Even at this late date, please also do so for "The Lion and the Rose". Whether a nominator is familiar with the criteria and process or not, the consultation should nevertheless be done. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:38, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
- @BlueMoonset: So... Do you want me to ask someone their opinion on them first, or ask them to do a GA review? The Optimistic One (talk) 18:14, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
- As it says in the instructions quoted above, please
consult regular editors of the article on the article talk page prior to a nomination
. Typically, this means opening a new section at the bottom of the article's talk page, saying that you believe the article is at the level to become a GA, and asking whether folks agree or disagree, and if the latter, what ways does it fail to meet the criteria or what are the issues that would keep it from being ready. If, in addition to this, you want to consult with any specific editors, either to get advice or to ask if they'd be willing to conduct a review, you're welcome to do so (though if they're significant contributors, they shouldn't be reviewing their own work), but posting to the article's talk page is the minimum step. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:08, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
- As it says in the instructions quoted above, please

The Covenant don't come from "Forerunner". You really need to stop adding infoboxes and filling them out when you don't understand or have any knowledge of the topics in question. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 00:04, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
- @David Fuchs: As a die-hard fan of Halo, I know quite a bit about it. I got mixed up a bit. Where are the Covenant actually from? Isn't it High Charity? Or is it Sangelious? The Optimistic One (talk) 02:38, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
- They are from all different planets, none of which are very important to a general article and don't need to be mentioned, let alone in the infobox. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs talk 14:04, 16 August 2019 (UTC)

Gears 5 and WWE 2K16 being within the Terminator universe
Hey, I checked out the articles in question and found out that there are indeed playable characters based on machines from the Terminator franchise. However, it doesn't seem to be more than that, which is to say that within both games they are intended as either novelty additions as in the case of WWE 2K16, or as DLC for multiplayer. In neither of these cases are they related to the plot or setting of either game. Looking at the list, Mortal Kombat 11 is listed as well, as again, a machine from the franchise is a playable character. Games in that franchise have featured many popular characters such as the Xenomorphs from the Aliens franchise, but it would be absurd to classify the game as taking part in that universe. The recurring theme here seems to be that these additions to the list amount to little more than pop culture references and are isolated from any deeper meaning within the broader context of the game. On the Mortal Kombat X article, there are a lot of categories like this, i.e Alien vs. Predator category, Friday the 13th category, etc, but in opening those, the game is actually not listed as being amongst the video games in the franchise. I think the compromise here could be that the games are removed from the Terminator category, but the categories kept. That way there's no implication that they're set within that universe, but the categories can still be kept. What do you think? Another options when looking at another game, Bulletstorm, is to change the category to include an additional tab for "related games", but in that entry, the Duke Nukem character is actually added as part of the main game, so I don't know if the terminator characters in the games above are "related" in the same way as Duke is to that game. Eik Corell (talk) 21:31, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Eik Corell: While I would agree with your opinion in that these technically aren't Terminator games, I do think that these affiliations with the franchise should at least have a passing mention. Another case is Negan from The Walking Dead, who appears in Tekken 7 as DLC. The game itself is in the template for the show. I would agree with the latter suggestion, a new tab could be added as 'Related media' instead of 'Related games'; that way we can include other mediums that had a similar situation to these games. Speedy deletion nomination of Dominic Santiago
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Dominic Santiago requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dominic Santiago (2nd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay.
