Notice

The article Lady Zu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of any notability. No evidence that released songs ever charted at any significant level. The two sources both appear to have been generated from the same press release. Identical photos and broadly comparable text. Fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Velella  Velella Talk   21:28, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Manila Bulletin New Logo.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Manila Bulletin New Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jüri Aarma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of ambassadors of New Zealand to the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Strachan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Ken San Jose, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 19:20, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Ken San Jose, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.

The "show preview" button is right next to the "publish changes" button and below the edit summary field.

Maalaala Mo Kaya (season 1) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Maalaala Mo Kaya (season 1), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Adding categories about keys songs are composed in

[edit]

Hi. Just so you know, this information should be sourced in the prose of the article before adding it as a category. Even if this information is factual, it needs to be cited in the article before it can be added as a category. It is not readily apparent to most readers, and by extension most editors, which key a piece of music is composed in unless they have experience with musical composition, so it can be considered contentious material. Please consider undoing these edits you have made, and not making them in future unless there is accompanying prose stating the song was composed in that key. All information should be sourced in the prose before adding a category stating so per WP:V. Thank you. Ss112 04:48, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, the prose of 7 Years (Lukas Graham song) already states the article is written in G minor (not B major). This is why there needs to be sourcing, because it's clearly contentious material. I hope you can see this going forward. Ss112 04:48, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article 1992 in Kazakhstan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

As-is, so little content to be useless as a list.

A tag has been placed on Category:National anthem compositions in B minor indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Your edits are hurting the encyclopedia

[edit]

Hi Telex80 - I'm a volunteer at the help desk, and another editor posted there that your edits show a limited command of the English language. For example, this edit [[1]] introduced a section of text that makes no sense. Since adding poorly written content only degrades the encyclopedia and makes more cleanup work for others, I'd like to kindly ask that you refrain from editing English language articles for the time being. If your native language is Tagalog, I strongly recommend you instead focus on articles at [[2]]. Thank you for understanding. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 00:19, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:49, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

GA reviews

[edit]

Hey there. Thanks for reviewing my three Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest articles, but I'm a bit concerned about whether the reviews were done properly. One of them took less than 30 minutes and two of them took less that 15 minutes combined. No suggestions or edits were offered and I'm not even sure you would have enough time to read all of the text and all of the sources that quickly. They weren't my first ever GAs and I'm sure they were pretty good, but I doubt they were perfect at first read. In my experience, the reviews have taken hours to days to complete, for example Talk:San_Marino_in_the_Eurovision_Song_Contest_2018#GA_Review. Are you confident that these were done properly? Grk1011 (talk) 14:40, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Grk1011, all three passes have been reverted and the reviews reopened—see WT:GAN for the discussion there. Telex80, I hope we see you there to discuss how to proceed from here. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:11, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Telex80, it's been over a week. While you've been editing elsewhere rather than responding, the discussion on the GAN talk page has been archived. If we do not hear from you here or there within 24 hours of your next edit, we'll assume that you have decided not to edit further on the GA reviews you opened where your passes were reverted, and proceed without your participation. Christian Lalama moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Christian Lalama, is not suitable as written to remain published. Request reason:

I have efforts on updating and doing comprehensively to some articles which have a good factor for citing it, but as must as I do that my edits are accurate and not originally sourced or make-up, but I must say that I'd cited to the articles in relation for some point and here is the thing that I've perfectly cited and not dismatching it's POV (point of view) by the following :

01. I already cited first about the Kazakh Entrant David Charlin in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but it said it's very closely pasted as an incident before the competition is held (usually finding the source for this is not found somewhere on the web but claimed by several people whom believe which is fully true and formal on Twitrer by some Ukrainians opposed to Russia : https://twitter.com/monmarancy/status/1594562535323492352?t=KEISrQ1ZLVx62gYY-zGgSA&s=19 (IN UKRAINAN) And in ESC.UA site claiming the story (archived ) : https://archive.org/details/screenshot-20221116-005409-instagram (IN UKRAINIAN)

My Edit : https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Junior_Eurovision_Song_Contest_2022&diff=prev&oldid=1127311758

At this point I really says this will passed it's quality of my point but claiming which is useless by the way..

02. The postcatd films are sourced properly, and my grammar and punctuation are moderately okay for thay point but any of the postcard videos produced in the 20th year of Junior Eurovision Song Contest and some of the citations for the postcard videos are content-based on visual view which accurately source from YouTube and identified accourding to it's style and not to tolerate as "disruptive" some of the articles are concisely cited are from 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021

My Edit :

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Junior_Eurovision_Song_Contest_2022&diff=prev&oldid=1127311758

03. The article about the Philippine Patriotic Oath (Filipino : Panatang Makabayan) which I've transcribed truly from a TV show segment produced by Philippine media company ABS-CBN way back 2004, and uploaded it to YouTube it is proven that the stated facts are legitimate and not biased

Source to the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9KHcxFODug (in Tagalog)

04. The chaplet praying of the Divine Mercy was a long way history in tradition from the Polish and American versions of the prayer, and it's a clue that some of the Live Stream videos in Polish have variaties upon them but even I looked upon it, both sources I've pitting this are dismatch rather than original from each other, and it's very unverificable on this point and I've once forgot to revert it because it's too inaine.

Sources :

My written bits :

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chaplet_of_the_Divine_Mercy&diff=prev&oldid=1124303088

And my appeal of my block concern, is stated that I have a "language barrier issue" regarding for my speaking peferences which stated in my block notice, I had a strong passion on enpowering my pure english skills here on English Wikipedia. But my edits since 2017 are long way verified. And even since I learned comprehensive editing to stamped out as reliable to add in English Wikipedia and I'm not a disruptive user who wanted to clear on the missing details on each article and so on and not to embraced on plagerising into form of some attitude.

And this made me nonsense, that the user quote me "They have been adding garbage like that to articles since 2017" the FACT that I not do anything to made it rubblish ever since I created this account since 2017, and after 5 years and counting I'm in a good shape despite of slump statements written on some articles I've edited.

Regards,

Telex80 (talk) 16:32, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your English skills are clearly not sufficient for the editing work you are hoping to do here. I would recommend working on the Cebuano, Tagalog, or Simple English projects instead. In the future, if your English writing improves, you may want to request the standard unblock offer signed, Rosguill talk 04:09, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Okay, so I'm looking at an unblock request.
Its first sentence currently reads as follows: "I have efforts on updating and doing comprehensively to some articles which have a good factors for citing it, but as must as i do that my edits are accurate and not originally sourced or make-up, but I must say that I'd cited to the articles in relation for some point and here is the thing that I've perfectly cited and not dismatching it's POV (point of view) to it's following"
English is not my native language and you claim to be a native speaker on your user page, so I may not be in the best position to criticize this. Or perhaps I'm in the best position to do so. My problem is that I genuinely do not understand what you are trying to say.
I start reading the sentence: "I have efforts on updating and doing comprehensively to some articles"... "Doing to articles"? "Hello friend, today I have done comprehensively to an article"?
And this is where I'd normally stop trying. Perhaps I try once more by skipping the strange part of the sentence. "Articles which have a good factors for citing it". Sorry? Are you trying to say "Articles which need citations?" Why "a factors"? One shoes, one cats, one articles? "A" is singular, "-s" is plural. You randomly mix these.
I have to give up at this point.
Best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:08, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I usually a bit problematic with my first sentences because in terms of my mistake on marked as 'disruptive editing' on my 3 or more edit under question here in English Wikipedia. But I'll try to correct this as much as I can. Telex80 (talk) 18:32, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"I usually a bit problematic". Telex80, you're applying for the ability to build an English encyclopedia. I'd ask "why?", but I'm afraid I wouldn't understand the answer. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:50, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
To be honest, my consideration for ensuring my good faith in editing and I hadn't do wrong depsite my creditbility for citing sources correctly and not to be disabide. Also, in this dispute on my appeal to be unblock that I followed guidelines per WP:Notability to be sure that I must follow here. Telex80 (talk) 19:04, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I recommend that you edit the Wikipedia version for your native language. Your English prose is almost incomprehensible. Cullen328 (talk) 19:11, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I know, but I'll make it this way because I actually Asian and know english is very much in common about in familiarising. Telex80 (talk) 19:16, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And let me try if my prose in English is accurate in order for lifting my block, Here is my sample sentences to be written on article
ARTICLE : Patriotic Oath (Philippines)
Summary :
The original verison was originally witten in English penned in 1935 by the instruction of the Education Secreatariat in order on emphasize the means of a true patriotism and love for god, country, and life. in 1955 which was later translated in Filipino by Benjamin Trinidad and the Education Board of Councilors in order to "move closely on what the panatá is associated on the roots of true Nationalism and Giving it near on the hustle of Pinoy culture since Independence. Request reason:

I am writing to kindly request a reconsideration of my block on the English Wikipedia platform. I fully understand that my previous contributions did not meet the required standards of prose and other skills, resulting in justified concerns over notability and factual accuracy. However, I am happy to inform you that I have taken significant steps to improve my writing abilities and understanding of content creation. Over the past few months, I have diligently honed my skills, seeking guidance from professional editors and attending workshops focused on enhancing my writing capabilities. Furthermore, I have actively engaged in conducting thorough research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of any information shared. Having put in considerable effort to improve myself, it would be an honor to contribute once again to the English Wikipedia platform. Recognizing the importance of adhering strictly to your guidelines and maintaining high-quality standards for content creation, I am committed to upholding these principles in all future contributions. I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing my unblock request. Kindly let me know if there are any additional steps or requirements that need to be fulfilled. I look forward to the opportunity of resuming valuable contributions within the community. Thank you for your attention. Telex80 (talk) 03:57, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Did you write this request yourself, or with the aid of a translator program? Do you understand that there is nothing special about the English Wikipedia? There's no reason you can't just stick with editing the version of Wikipedia that is in your primary language. This is not the "premier" Wikipedia, all versions are equal. Why do you want to edit this version? 331dot (talk) 08:51, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I usually wrote this for myself. I find myself amiably drawn to the captivating allure of English Wikipedia - not because it is superior or premier, but because of its immense potential to touch countless lives. By collaborating and contributing to English Wikipedia, I driven to bridge cultural gaps, foster inclusivity, and promote understanding. I also believe that embracing the remarkable diversity of this medium, can transcend the limitations imposed by boundaries and create a tapestry of knowledge that reflects the true essence of our interconnected world. I believe that all versions of Wikipedia are equal in essence, yet the sheer magnitude of readership and the potential impact of the English version present an unparalleled opportunity for me to reach a wider audience. It is within these virtual pages that envisioned spreading the seeds of change, planting thoughts that cultivate curiosity and inspire others to explore new realms of understanding. My ambition is to shape a world where education transcends borders and becomes a universal right, empowering individuals to build a brighter future. I also steadfast in my commitment to preserving the integrity, accuracy, and objectivity of information on English Wikipedia.Telex80 (talk) 09:47, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will definitely not using some AI applications or software in the future; and for my prose on editing in this wiki are just to update some grammar typos and change some pages on the government officials across the Philippines which they have held an Election last 30th October 2023.
