Hello, Syed Zain Ul Abideen Bukhari. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Vidhi Pandya, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Vidhi Pandya to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ankit Bathla, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dangal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:19, 4 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tantra (TV series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.indianprimebuzz.com/tantra-star-cast-real-name-colors-tv-serial/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi there, I don't understand these changes you made at Udaan (2014 TV series). Per WP:TVCAST, new cast additions go at the bottom, so there's no clear justification for putting a 2018 cast member above the 2014 cast, 2015 cast, etc. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:35, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Meera Deosthale. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. Reliable sources - Get up to speed ASAP, please

[edit]

Re: this edit, there are at least four links on your talk page where other editors have pointed you to our reliable sourcing guidelines, which are found here. You also somehow ignored the embedded note in the article that made it fairly clear that birthdate "must be attributed to a reliable published source with an established reputation for fact-checking." I can only assume you have not bothered to read those guidelines yet, because submitting whatever random website wikibio.in is, falls absolutely short of our basic sourcing guidelines. So here is the guideline in a nutshell:

If you've never heard of the website, don't use it. We don't care what random fly-by-night blogs, portals, content harvesting random websites have to say. Use major mainstream sources with an established reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. That means the pride of India when it comes to journalism. The Hindu, Times of India, Deccan Chronicle, etc. Do not use gossip sites like Pinkvilla or Filmibeat, or sources that are created by other random people. That includes IMDB, which is user-genereated, or even Wikipedia itself.

See WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources for a general list of sources that are and are not generally considered reliable in the context of Indian entertainment, and keep in mind also that since we care about the privacy of living people, we wouldn't want to potentially violate their privacy by adding unsourced, poorly sourced, and/or potentially defamatory content about them. That's why it is crucial to have impeccable sourcing in our articles, especially biographies. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:10, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, a number of your recent edits have been laden with poor grammar like here where you are capitalising words that shouldn't be capitalised, adding spaces where they don't belong, you accidentally left some of the word "current", you're adding leading zeroes to dates, etc. Same thing here. Sindh is a Pakistani province. Names of places use proper nouns. Proper nouns are capitalised. Please be more mindful that we expect contributions to be written with normal rules of English. Please note my corrections. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:17, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, I'm dropping by to warn you of two things you need to be aware of.

  1. You are not permitted to copy and paste text from other websites as you did with Draft:Anjali Jathar. I have deleted the Careers section as a copyright violation. See WP:COPYVIO.
  2. You userpage will be deleted unless you remove it yourself, and rewrite it to just say a few words about yourself and your interest in editing Wikipedia. Please read WP:USERPAGE to appreciate that we do not permit editors to create userpages which resemble Wikipedia articles, as yours does, or which serve as a free online curriculum vitae, per WP:NOTWEBHOST.
Finally, please read WP:NACTOR to gain an understanding of the criteria used to decide if a person is Notable, and thus if they merit a page here. Draft:Anjali Jathar will never be acepted without more evidence that they meet those criteria, I'm afraid. Best wishes, Nick Moyes (talk) 15:11, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Don't add garbage references to articles as you did here. Nobody cares what "bollymoviereviewz", a site that can't even spell, thinks about a film's finances. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of federal agencies of Pakistan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Defence University.

Information icon Hi Syed Zain Ul Abideen Bukhari! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of List of federal agencies of Pakistan several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:List of federal agencies of Pakistan, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Also remember that when an agency is already added into relevant template than there is no need to add it again as this causes duplication.. Wikibear47 (talk) 15:58, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
