Auto Taxobox
Heya Sun,
on some pages the autotaxoboxes have been put in eg Chelydridae that taxonomy is honestly wrong and uninformative. I am thinking the standard taxobox is better at this stage, since the auto one is not preferred for turtles anyway. What you think? Cheers Faendalimas talk 04:42, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- What's wrong with Chelydridae's autotaxobox? The autos are easier when higher taxo changes as you only have to amend once to cascade throughout, but I don't mind either way. Regards, Sun Creator(talk) 22:37, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Well if you follow it through:
- Order: †Procolophonomorpha
- Order: Testudines (=Chelonii)
- Suborder: Cryptodira
- Infraorder: Eucryptodira
- Parvorder: Polycryptodira
- A taxon cannot be in two orders, Procolophonomorpha is an extinct taxon, Eucryptodira & Polycryptodira are only used by workers on fossil taxa, are unnecessary. Not part of living taxa synonymies such as that in the IUCN checklist. Cheers, Faendalimas talk 23:26, 20 April 2014 (UTC)
- Have removed the order Procolophonomorpha as likely incorrect; the change affected all the turtle autotaxoboxes. Corrected Polycryptodira as a clade which results in the display of Eucryptodira going. Polycryptodira is left displayed as its logically correct, see classification in Cryptodira article for example. Also Chelydridae has a number of extinct genera so display of Polycryptodira seems to make some sense. Regards, Sun Creator(talk) 10:36, 22 April 2014 (UTC).

DEFAULTSORT and Title Case
Hi, Sun Creator. I just made this change. I believe that, even for articles and titles that use sentence case, the DEFAULT sort key uses Initial Caps. This allows them to be sorted properly. - I get that but I looked up the names for all of them, they all have at least two common names up to four, none are acceptable by all. IUCN lists at least two for each species with no preference. This argument has been going on for months between a number of users. I was only involved since the move request came up. I did not attempt to move this page yet for the reasons you state. There was no need for move requests on the others because they were unopposed and actually agreed to by both sides of the argument on every one of those talk pages. I got an admin to do the moves with the exception of one of them. If you want them under common names which one? Padiloper is their names in Africa, very few people outside of Africa have heard of them under any name. Its not a group I have ever been involved with, hence I discussed it at length and came to the conclusion that the best path was the same for the whole genus. Least contention, no more arguing, all common names can be redirects. The South Africans actually take offense to the names that don't use Padiloper. The Wikipedia Library: New Account Coordinators Needed
Hi Books & Bytes recipients: The Wikipedia Library has been expanding rapidly and we need some help! We currently have 10 signups for free account access open and several more in the works... In order to help with those signups, distribute access codes, and manage accounts we'll need 2-3 more Account Coordinators.

Dear SunCreator, just a question as to why Homopus signatus is the only one of the Homopus species to have been kept under its common name? Happy New Year, and welcome to a special double issue of Books & Bytes. We've included a retrospective on the changes and progress TWL has seen over the last year, the results of the survey TWL participants completed in December, some of our plans for the future, a second interview with a Wiki Love Libraries coordinator, and more. Here's to 2014 being a year of expansion and innovation for TWL!
The Wikipedia Library completed the first 6 months of its Individual Engagement grant last week. Here's where we are and what we've done:
- Increased access to sources: 1500 editors signed up for 3700 free accounts, individually worth over $500,000, with usage increases of 400-600%
- Deep networking: Built relationships with Credo, HighBeam, Questia, JSTOR, Cochrane, LexisNexis, EBSCO, New York Times, and OCLC
- New pilot projects: Started the Wikipedia Visiting Scholar project to empower university-affiliated Wikipedia researchers
- Developed community: Created portal connecting 250 newsletter recipients, 30 library members, 3 volunteer coordinators, and 2 part-time contractors
- Tech scoped: Spec'd out a reference tool for linking to full-text sources and established a basis for OAuth integration
- Broad outreach: Wrote a feature article for Library Journal's The Digital Shift; presenting at the American Library Association annual meeting

Cell disruption
Hello. It may interest you that someone called tenofalltrades seems determined to completely delete the "cell disruption" page, to which you previously contributed. Over a 11 minute period in March they deleted ~22,500 words (virtually the entire page), and made no attempt to rebuild the page. Of course, the page was imperfect but I think it was still a useful compendium of information. Now it's pretty much gone.
I've tried to communicate with this person, and then reversed their changes, an effort that has now itself been reversed. I don't have the wiki experience (or the time) to deal with this anymore. So I'm writing to you and several other contributors in case others feel like preserving the page. Thanks a lot Liamloftus (talk) 14:59, 24 September 2014 (UTC)

Turtle Shell
Hello,
I think that your article should include something about how the scapular rami, pectoral girdle made the shell not just the rib and dermal bones. Being a specific does not hurt. Also the article should include where the carapace came from. This will allow the readers to also understand some of the evolution of the turtle shell. The final thing I think your article could possible add to make it better could include a picture of the break down of the shell components. The article ""Homology Of The Enigmatic Nuchal Bone Reveals Novel Reorganization Of The Shoulder Girdle In The Evolution Of The Turtle Shell" written by Lyson, Tyler R., et al. on page 318 includes a great picture.
