AfC submissions

Hi Staraction, you might already be aware but you do not need to submit your drafts for review. You can move them to article space yourself (see WP:MOVIE) where they will be reviewed by WP:NPP. Of you course you are welcome to continue to use AfC. Either way, thanks for all your great work! S0091 (talk) 15:40, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

@S0091 Hi! I do realize that, but I like to make sure articles are of enough quality before they get moved to mainspace. I know WP:NPP will review them though - if it's contributing to the backlog I'll just move them myself. Would it be helpful if I just moved them to mainspace myself? Staraction (talk | contribs) 16:03, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
No need to worry about the backlog. The reason for the note was because I have found sometimes editors do not know they have the ability to move their drafts to mainspace. If you prefer to submit through AfC, please continue to do so. :) S0091 (talk) 16:16, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
Great, thanks! Staraction (talk | contribs) 16:18, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited United States congressional delegations from Connecticut, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Day. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Recent edits in Gracia Mendes Nasi

Hello, hope you're well. I'm only writing because I saw you reverse an unhelpful edit in the article Gracia Mendes Nasi. I have a request that you also reverse all edits made by "Mika E. Cohen". They have removed a lot of important information as well as her portrait, and has divided the article into many 2-3 sentence paragraphs.

Thank you. 77.98.244.13 (talk) 09:28, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

Hey! Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I've gone ahead and reverted all the specified edits. In the future, you can edit from the last good revision to restore it, or you can leave a message on that article's talk page. Thanks again! Staraction (talk | contribs) 03:43, 27 May 2024 (UTC)

Article for Dave Clark

Hi Staraction, I work for business executive Dave Clark, and I'm trying to create a Wikipedia article for him. I see that you are part of WP:BLP, and that you have an interest in creating new articles for Americans. I'm hoping that you will take a look at the draft I have posted here. Would you consider moving it to main space?

Thank you, Kellyklc (talk) 17:51, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

@Kellyklc Unfortunately I don't think I can accept this draft - it doesn't meet certain Wikipedia guidelines relating to neutrality, such as WP:BALANCE - in particular, the draft fails to mention any controversies about Clark, such as documented here. I would suggest sending this article through the WP:AfC process. Thanks and best of luck with your article. Staraction (talk | contribs) 00:15, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
